Do not take your car here if it's older and must undergo the treadmill test. My car did pass the treadmill test, but the tech failed the car anyway. Why? The dashboard lights weren't working. He has no right to fail the car for that. Bad, bad, experience. read more

AAGGHHH! The hassle of it all. Well fortunately with my trusty Yelp tool in hand I found EZ Smog Center and BAM! I got the car smogged in less than 15 minutes and for a good price too. Was at the DMV on Gaffey st to renew my registration and didn't realize I needed a smog. So low and behold their was EZ smog literally across the street from the DMV so I went in and I never had a better, more smooth experience any place els ever. Literally took like 10-15 min and was able to just go on with my day being that the smog certification would be automatically electronically submitted into the DMV per Roy (the technicians word) and boom!! Got my tags in less than a week. Since then, EZ smog has been my go to. Thanks Roy for the great service. read more

Excellent work and no hassle. Dropped off the car and shortly thereafter all was nicely completed.

My car needed brakes. I took it here and told them to put on pads but if the drums or routers needed work, to replace them. The pads were replaced. A week later the brakes started squealing. I took it back and the brakes were cleaned and I went on my way. The next day they squealed again. I took it back and was told to "turn" the drums. This would be an additional cost. I need my car for town driving so I paid the charge. The next day again they squealed. I was told to take it somewhere else for evaluation. I did. The pads used were cheap and the drums needed work. My 150 dollar brake job cost me now 400. I will return the parts and see what they say. We shall see but don't take brakes to them. They didn't even offer to pay for the evaluation. . read more

Poor experience. When my car failed the brake and light inspection, I was told I'd have to pay $110 and go get repairs elsewhere and return for a subsequent inspection. I asked if I could pay on the return inspection and the employee working said I had to pay then and there. I would have willingly paid on my second inspection assuming the repairs corrected the issue. Needless to say, I left without paying and wont be returning...ever. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! These guys are shady as hell and are just looking to rip you off. The guys failed my van even though it has a brand new catalytic converter and muffler and said I had some sort of timing issue. This is a shop that also does repairs in shop so, I saw them poking around looking for a way to make more money. When it "failed" they said they could do the repairs and they would pass it. I went to Smogfathers after and it passed with flying colors. read more

This guy is a liar! Brought my van here on 2 separate occasions. The first time he said that my van wasn't in the system. The second time I called him out and he just admitted that he didn't want to do it. Apparently, smog places have a grudge with the state and don't like to smog test pre '97 vehicles. Not my problem. I just need my van smogged. There are only 3 star certified smog check businesses in town and only one was honest with me and did the test. Smog Fathers on Gaffey. Honest guys over there! read more

Very helpful family owned shop. He did, however, give me (I think) a high estimate to do some work: $900 to change a catalytic converter, O2 sensor and an EGR solenoid control box. I ended up buying the parts for about $300 and doing the work myself. Maybe this is common?? read more

If I could give negative stars I would I came in for smog test, cost me almost 50$ and didn't pass. Young kid who was working told me I didnt pass because I have a aftermarket air intake. He couldn't have told me this before he tested it?! He gives me the print out and tells me I can come back when I put back on the stock intake then re-test for 20$ I never had an issue with my intake so its obvious this business is scamming people out of there money! btw.. karmas a bitch! read more
