He started telling me 'No, no you don't know you are talking about, what you are talking about has nothing to do with anything.' He then told me I needed my transmission opened up (which was a lie), and asked me if I was still under warranty. I told him no and he basically dismissed me like I was taking up his time, and told me to go to a dealership. So I went home, and over the next few weeks ordered parts, made the repairs, cleared the error codes, and readied the sensors. The car passed smog (not at this business). I don't know if the mechanic was trying to run a warranty scam me or what, but if not he's one of the dumbest mechanics I've ever met. Trust me when I say this: no one at this place will ever so much as touch any of my cars.
