Horrible place just left got mad and wouldn't take me because I commented on a comment on yelp horrible place

it's a very small store with not a lot of staff, as is the same situation in most places, so be patient. I have five things from the store a couple of times. The most recent was just two weeks ago. Kohls of my cordless drills and my corded drill suffered failures. E.Z. Pawn had a cordless drill that would work perfect for me and it was very inexpensive, except there was no charger. Fortunately, there was another cordless drill, just like it in the box in the locked cabinet. I did not hesitate to buy both of them and the person waiting on me recognize how quickly I made my decision and they were able to move a couple pieces of inventory at the same time, and they gave me a much better deal than what it was listed for. Mind you as a list prices were also very fair to begin with. That must be why there are signs all over the place in the store that says make us an offer. I have very little experience with stores of this type, but I will not hesitate to go back again, or to call to see if they carry some thing that I'm looking for. read more

Fortunately there is no way to rate a business as having zero stars which is what I would do if it was possible, for this sorry excuse of a business. Unfortunately, as a younger person, 35 years old, working in manufacturing, as a welder, sometimes I am unable to make ends meet, and have to pawn something, for groceries, rent, etc. I am well aware that these places are predatory, Cashing in on people, in their most vulnerable moments. However, this place takes the cake, in that regard. I have again, unfortunately had to do this a number of times in my life, but never have I been taken advantage as much as I have been by this place. Bringing in quality brand-name products like an Apple iPad Snap-on toolbox, stihl chainsaw, etc, I think you get the picture. I got Such low ball prices from them, it was insulting, but when you need the cash, you need the cash... so I took their offers, So in that regard you could say that I need to take responsibility for that, and I do. Bought an Xbox one with a warranty here. The controller didn't work. When I tried to exchange it, they were rude and dismissive. They claimed they did not have any other controllers there. When I pointed out the 4 controllers in the case next to the counter, they said there was nothing they could do. Go to Pawn America! read more

When I walked in, the radio was on loud and there were four people loitering near the counter, two of whom may have been customers, but it was hard to tell because they weren't doing anything. While I waited for them to acknowledge me (I thought maybe there was a slow computer they were waiting on), I noted that all four of them had their masks pulled down off their noses at different times. The employee who finally helped me tried to get me to stand closer than 6ft when they couldn't hear me over the radio with my mask on. When I suggested that they wear their mask properly to make it safe for me to do so, they refused, saying I wouldn't get sick since I was wearing a mask (that's not how it works). The remainder of the transaction was conducted shouted over the radio and across the 6ft separating us. Also, they refuse to take payments over the phone now that they're no longer legally required to. TL;DR: I wouldn't be surprised if this place saw an outbreak of COVID soon read more

Wow, this place is sketchy, probably unsafe. Every time I've been here there's been an incident with either a customer or staff member screaming and cursing. On my first visit, there was a thug sitting on the front counter openly making loud violent threats on his phone while the staff did nothing. I thought this was a one-off incident, but it's just normal there. The staff is also very slow and if there are more than 4 people in the store a 20 minute line will form. pawn shop is absolutely unprofessional and uned about items. brought in over $1000 worth of merchandise and was offered $5 for a broken space heater lol they were inint in buying hunting equipment that was brand new lol. they fail my test. 0 star if that was possible. read more

absolutely horrible customer service I took in a diamond engagement ring and the guy just looked at it and said $85 mind you the ring worth over $2000.He didnt bother to test it or use the diamond tester.Just didnt seem to care or be professional or put any effort to doing his job. read more
