I brought my 22 Ultra in for a screen repair. They did not inform us that they would be using…read moreaftermarket parts. upon receiving the phone the back plate is separated from the back. A problem that I originally did not have. The screen now has a border around it and is not operating correctly for a Samsung 22 ultra. Upon calling them they admit to not informing us that they were using aftermarket parts, saying they assume everyone knows that it's aftermarket parts and said it was no problem for me to pay the difference and get what I expected in the first place. I told them.it was dishonest for them to not inform us upfront that it would not look like the original screen and worse off for them to try to charge us more money to make it right. The workmanship is another issue. The fact that the phone come back with a different issue than it came in with is uncalled for. In the end they offer a refund to put the original (broken) screen back in and wave the service fee to fix the backbplate. In all their shady business practice from the start to the end and poor workmanship is grounds for the 1 start. Beware being swindled by this company.

Mr. Eric, Ms. Lindsey, and the rest of their brilliant crew have been working on a multi-year project for me putting in hardscape, including grading and, ultimately, changing (soft-scaping) our two acres from lawn to native plants+wildlife flower garden. Eric and crew are experts on native plants. The more I read about "lawns," the more I cringe every time I pass one on the road. Lawns, being non-native plants, they are animal-torturers -- ironically, lawns passively mow down animals. Think of lawns as efficient animal-disposal machines. Do the planet (and your neighborhood) a favor and make your land friendly to critters by insisting on native plants. Native plants and animals evolved together over millions of years, so when one's land doesn't have native plants, wildlife starves, all the way up and down the food-chain. Lawns are gasoline- and water-guzzlers. The lawn industry uses up a humongous amount of petroleum products merely in lawn-mowing. I am a "Gone the Lawn" person now. Lawns are appropriate ONLY under certain circumstances, like one is a croquet fanatic. I never knew that gardening was year-round. April is the month everyone waits for, but planning starts the previous autumn. Eric's physically-demanding season winds down in mid-November, so let him see your plot before the snows hide the land. Autumn is the best time to start brainstorming the design phase for the following April. Eric and crew are not only landscapers but artists.

It seems like everyone in Oshkosh just collects stuff to be picked up, so they not only overcharge, it takes forever too. I was complaining about just that while shopping at Atomic Katz, and the owner (having forgotten the name of this place) gave me a super vague description of how to find it...so of course off I went, seeking the utopia of shoe repair. And after a brief detour to the army surplus store around the corner (thanks, GPS), I found it! The guy at the counter quoted me something like $7.75 a pair (I, uh, had 3 identical pairs in need of heels...) and said that they'd be ready the next day. Now, that's not quite the fastest shoe repair I've ever experienced (see Nu Life in Memphis), but that's a far cry from the 2 weeks I was quoted just about everywhere else! Plus, they speak English here, which is a new thing for me. I came back two days later and my shoes were ready and waiting, all fixed up for another few months of rough wear. So while I'll definitely save up my shoes before making another trip, Franwerks is for sure my go-to shoes repair place! If you don't want to buy new shoes, bring your old ones here!

I had to purchase another stone (why did I buy it again from them???) to fix. I know things can happen but when you build a ring and I pay for the stones, the least you can do is not have it fall apart. And if it does - stand behind it and make it right. I had to make a claim on my homeowners who nearly dropped us for such a large claim. I sent a letter to the owner and naturally received zero response. Decided to never go back and we took all our spending elsewhere. We moved our business from TDC to Goodman's where we purchased many new pieces over the years. Now we live closer to Oconomowoc and go to a local shop where the jeweler is on site and they do stand behind their work.

I picked it up and it looked absolutely beautiful. Update: ended up needing it resized. I left Tricia a voicemail and she got me in the next day to drop it off and they had it ready in five days.
