The outdoor workout area is awesome too, especially when you want fresh air and a change of scenery. One of my favorite things is how fun and creative the space is. They even have a decorated photo booth-style workout area, which makes it easy (and super fun) to snap progress pics or just get a little motivation boost. And the classes? So much energy! The dance class in particular is an absolute blast--it doesn't even feel like working out because you're having so much fun. I wanted to enjoy EōS Fitness because I genuinely like the facility and planned to remain a gym member. Unfortunately, my experience with the personal training program and management has been extremely disappointing. I scheduled four separate welcome workout/personal training appointments. Three appointments with my original trainer were missed, and after I raised the issue with management, I was reassigned to another trainer. Unfortunately, that appointment was also missed due to a scheduling/miscommunication issue. After four unsuccessful appointments, I decided that personal training was no longer a service I was comfortable paying for. I had been prepared to spend approximately $300 per month for coaching, and I simply did not receive the level of reliability I expected from a paid professional service. What concerned me further was the response when I attempted to address the pattern. Rather than seeing meaningful accountability for repeated missed appointments, I encountered explanations about different departments and why various individuals were not responsible. I also recently registered for a group stretching class where the instructor did not show up, leaving the class waiting. My concern is not one isolated missed appointment. It is the repeated pattern of scheduled services not being provided and the lack of effective accountability when those concerns are raised. I escalated my concerns in writing to operations management and requested assistance with resolving the personal training portion of my membership. I have not received a response. I still enjoy the EōS facility itself, which is why this experience is particularly disappointing. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the personal training program or the management response to service issues at this location. I hope EōS takes these concerns seriously and improves its scheduling, communication, accountability, and follow-through for members purchasing additional services. read more

Horrible experience. I came to use the 7-day free pass, but the employee supposed to give us a tour immediately started pushing memberships. We then waited 30 minutes just to get the pass activated, and I was skipped for someone who arrived after me. On top of that, my sister's car was towed from the fitness area next to EOS due to the lack of parking, and EOS gave us no warning. Definitely would not recommend coming here for the 7-day pass unless you want to leave with a headache. read more

This gym is AMAZING! I wish we had a gym like this in Kansas City! I seriously fell in love with a gym guys (LOL). Let's dive right in: For starters all the cardio machines (treadmill, elliptical, etc) had screens that had everything you could think of & things you wouldn't have. The screens had IG, Netflix, Games, Tv, other fitness apps, & MORE! Let's just say, you would never get bored doing cardio. They had a theater inside & they switch the movies weekly. This time they had Crazy Rich Asians playing. They had a plethora of studios, personal trainers, the BEST equipment, sauna , steam room & even this place called the backyard. It was another semi enclosed workout out room outdoors! It was really cool! I recommend this gym. Not enough parking. Disrespectful management. I had to deal with Jay operations manager attitude from the beginning very smirky like he enjoyed it. Attitude all over his face but this could have been avoided if his employee would have communicated better. This man made me cry and I didn't feel safe I felt like he would have hit me. This is not a safe person to have in that building. This is not a man that wants to help he is against you if he has to get involved. The facilities are barely adequate, the pool is nearly always way too cold and when I cancelled my membership they charged me an annual membership fee FOR NEXT YEAR, you know, the year I won't be using their crappy facilities anymore?! Not quite sure why so many low reviews, seems people need to get off their high horses and learn how to coexist with other people in the gym. We are all here to sweat and work out, and it seems they have a problem with other members, not the business itself. If they don't like it, then they can upgrade to a fancier gym. It's not Equinox or Alphalete. The machines are mostly in working order, there definitley is a crowd, but I can get most workouts in pretty efficiently and it's at a great price. The staff are quite friendly and it's very clean. Dumbbells I believe go up to 150lbs and there's plenty of benches and handles for cables. Expansive and modern cardio machines as well. Now I haven't had to cancel my membership which is what many of the bad reviews seem to say but if I do see that issue then I will change my review, similarly my car hasn't been scratched or damaged either. However from my experience this has been a great place to get my workout in and head out. read more

I hate when I love something, but a simple, easily resolved inconvenience turns my whole mindset into huge disappointment. Warning to all patrons: Do NOT park on the side closer to Sonic after business hours. There's a tow sign in front of the businesses adjacent to the gym, and tonight, the entire row of cars was towed within 52 minutes. Although I've parked there several times before without issue, my car got towed during a quick gym session. I had to take a Lyft home and then to a sketchy tow lot off McDaniel and 67, which I don't recommend for anyone, especially women alone. After spending $321.47 to retrieve my car, $17 for Lyft, and $30 on gas, it's safe to say I'm canceling my gym membership. EOS isn't entirely to blame, but a warning would have been helpful. For those parking in the grass, that's a no-go too--they're definitely on the hunt for money. I can't believe 52 minutes cost me over $368, and I'm still not home yet at 1030pm. P.S. After getting over my initial anger and frustration, I realized it's beyond me, so I've contacted management for a resolution for everyone this has happened to, and I won't be quiet about it! If no one speaks up, nothing will ever be done. The irony of someone walking out of an establishment to better their health, only to face financial and mental stress due to a lack of warning, is unacceptable. Fixing the parking lot or providing proper warnings could solve so much for patrons' mental health and financial well-being. read more

I came in for the 7 day trial while I was home for the holidays. I must say I was very impressed with the facility. It's def packed in the parking lot but once you find parking it's spacious inside. I was slightly concerned based on reviews saying customers cars had gotten broken into. But like I said the facility is rather big, we didn't have to wait on any equipment. I really enjoyed "the backyard" area, it was my favorite place to workout. read more

Like the equipment and facility. One MAJOR DETAIL is the parking. How this corporation can not work with the Land Lord to make it accessible to their PAYING CUSTOMERS is beyond me. EOS makes enough revenue to handle this issue yet when I spoke to management they just gave me blank look and said pretty much, "oh well!" Very disappointing. Tried the gym out on a 7 day free trail. I was a little hesitant to stop in because the parking lot seems to be packed all the time. The parking lot is really small. Once I entered it was not overly crowded. There were plenty of machines open and the gym was clean I just may switch from PF. read more

easily the worst gym in DeSoto. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING they will charge you forever for a 4 month contract and claim you should've cancelled it after the 4 months were up. Mind you, the contract was paid in full and fulfilled LAST YEAR, 2024. Their system rebooted in Jan 2025 and I got charged again for the same services. They claimed I should've canceled after the contact was up, as if the contract isn't sold as a 4 month contract!!! Operations Manager, TJ MCKINNEY, will catch an attitude with you if you try to cancel your membership, get defensive when you explain why your charges aren't right, and passive aggressively turn their screen and google the EOS FAQ when you ask for a resolution, specifically your money back. These guys are literally terrible to deal with, Hollie mays is okay to deal with but ultimately they're all part of the same scam. the 4 month contract AUTOMATICALLY becomes month to month. if you're going to become a member, use a throwaway card. I have been going through this for no less than 6 months. Also high turnover for very good reason. Management clearly sucks. One guy got screamed at for using the BMI scale on a customer. It's like why have it there if you're going to scream at staff who use it. And this was mid day. There's Just lots of craziness in what could honestly be a nice facility but don't waste your time with these guys. Go to any other gym, work out, and use a throwaway. read more

Let me start with the positives. The facility is really nice. Our trainer is personable and knowledgeable. Management is more than willing to address any concerns. On the negative side, read your contract thoroughly before you sign it. We were told something at sign up that was not true. We were told that after our 4 month personal trainer contract expired, the price would go down, but that's not the case. I'm not sure whether or not it was ignorance or blatant dishonesty, however, we were certainly mislead which is bad business. The facility practically sells itself. There's no reason to deceive. They have space to add more leg machines, but they don't. Groups of people love to do circuits right in front of the machines and management does nothing!! If your alone you can never get a leg machine ANYTIME of the day. I put this on their 'survey' and their solution was for me to come during their less peak time of 10-11 am or 9-10 pm. Mind you, I've been here at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 am; forget about after 4:00. What kind of lame solution is what when we all WORK. Definitely going back to my old gym. read more

A very nice gym with good working equipment and staff. However, I do not recommend going between 4pm - 9pm Monday through Thursday. The parking is next to impossible and it's just too many people to where my workout isn't enjoyable. no! no! hell no!!! eos employees has men to enter the women's locker room to clean up i was in the shower in the women's locker room... to my greatest fear there was a man with a baseball cap mopping in the middle of the room. i screamed of terror. i have major triggers... i asked him to leave... he refused to leave. we were never notified..... this is a major problem to have a man hanging around in the women's locker room in the morning around 10am. just so you know... the locker room is full of un clothed women. through the locker room is the only way to enter the sauna. also, keep in mind this is where all the showers are and lockers to get dressed. i am not going to ever be comfortable exposing myself to a man that insist on cleaning the locker room of women eos either get a woman to enter the locker room for cleaning or close it for 10 minutes to allow a man to clean the showers, toilets, saunas and dressing area. there should never ever ever ever be a situation that a woman walks out of a shower with a towel on to be greeted with the stare of a man or a woman putting lotion on her naked body to turn around and run to shield her naked body!!! this is unacceptable! fix it!!! read more

I love the gym, workout classes and instructors. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the parking lot and the sidewalk entrance into the gym. There is always trash in the parking lot and litter along the sidewalk leading into the gym. I have spoken with the staff concerning this issue and it seems to fall on deaf ears. In my opinion these areas should be cleaned daily. read more
