History

Established in 2020.

My mother had me when she was 15 years old and I never had a relationship with my father. I grew up being abused and when I was 12, I was adopted by my maternal grandmother. I worked through that pain and got married in 2010, just to face a divorce in 2016. Through the divorce, rejection reared its ugly head once again and I began to gain a lot of weight. In 2019, I was introduced to a workout class by a close girlfriend; I lost weight and began to feel good about myself again. I stopped looking for someone to love me and became that person instead, which is how I became 'Mz.ButterflyBeast'. I allowed rejection to be the fuel for my transformation and to continue to make me better. Once I worked through that pain, I understood my pain was purposeful. I've tried a lot of things but I found a love for fitness because it continues to challenge me in so many ways. Fitness allows me to take all aspects of myself (past and present) to help others transform mentally and physically.

Meet the Business Owner: Nori W.

Certified Master Trainer and Personal Coach Fitness by Nori came about through my own fitness journey. I've always been competitive, driven and disciplined. I was in the U.S. Navy and Army. I am a Senior Human Resources Professional. Now, I am a Certified Master Trainer through International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and I assist others with their health and wellness goals. I've always loved to help people. I believe it stemmed from a background of being rejected and feeling like I needed to prove myself to be accepted.
