Drove over only to find their Wi-Fi is down again, which means all machines are offline (massage, cryo, etc.). It's 2026. I've worked in technology for decades, and for the prices being charged, basic redundancy should exist. This is the third time I've arrived to find systems down--plus an earlier visit when I couldn't even sign up because the Wi-Fi was out. That makes four times total. This isn't an ISP issue--Cox really isn't that unreliable. I've lived in town for four years. Posting this as both a Google and Vocal review in hopes it drives improvement. I was excited to check out the new gym in the Cadence area after seeing the advertised 7-day free pass online. I got ready, showed up, and initially the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which gave me a great first impression. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. Once I was signed in, I was sent over to a sales associate who looked up my account and found I had a membership... back in 2015 at a completely different location. Because of that -- despite it being over a decade ago -- she told me I wasn't allowed to use the 7-day pass at all. I explained I simply wanted to check out this brand-new location before deciding whether to join again. The email promotion didn't mention any restriction like that, but it was completely dismissed. I wasn't even allowed to try the gym for one day unless I signed up for a membership on the spot. That left a really bad impression. It felt more like a sales trap than a genuine opportunity to try the facility. I walked out pretty frustrated and, honestly, I don't see myself going back after that experience. read more

Worse than LVAC. Extremely overcrowded and very misleading from the start. They promise everything when you sign up, but don't deliver. The kids club still isn't open. The "hot" classes are not hot at all, and the only option offered is yoga. Pilates was promised, but it's just placed in a regular group fitness room -- nothing special or as advertised. I attempted to use the 30-day money-back guarantee flyer, but they claimed I was one day late. However, the gym wasn't even fully open on the first day, so that guarantee should have been honored. Overall, this feels like a bait-and-switch. I would not recommend Eos to anyone. read more

According to the reps, hot and cold plunge, amazing saunas, but no pool. ========== 1pm update We arrived at the gym ready for a workout together. My wife is my plus-one on my membership, and we've never had issues bringing a guest at other locations. But today, the front desk staff told us she couldn't come in unless she downloaded her own pass and created a separate account. It quickly became clear they were pushing her to sign up for her own membership. That felt really deceptive and not okay at all. I spoke with the manager (Ponce) and explained multiple times that my wife only works out when she comes with me, so there's no need for her to have her own account. Instead of resolving it, he kept trying to hard-sell her on signing up. It was frustrating and left a bad taste. I'm honestly not sure if we'll return to this location, even though it's convenient. The guest policy should allow my plus-one to check in with me without this kind of pressure. On a more positive note, the facility itself is nice. They have a good amount of equipment, plenty of free weights and machines, several fitness studios, and the new hot and cold plunges are a great addition. The co-ed infrared sauna is comfortable and convenient (there are also separate men's and women's saunas), though you need a premium membership to access that whole recovery area. No pool, but overall the layout and options are solid. It's a shame as the gym has a lot going for it, but the disorganization at check-in and the aggressive sales tactics today really soured the experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after several months of trying to resolve several issues directly, I feel it's important to share my experience. When I signed up, I was told my personal training sessions would be one hour. After enrolling, I learned the sessions were actually 30 minutes. This was not clearly explained at signup and directly influenced my decision to purchase the training package. I was also told I could stop my sessions at any time, only to discover later that I had been enrolled in a four-month commitment. I raised the issue immediately and was given different information by different employees. One staff member told me the sessions were one hour. Later, I was told that information was incorrect. The General Manager acknowledged that he misspoke, and a District Manager acknowledged that the communication at signup was not clearly explained. Since late February, I have repeatedly attempted to resolve the matter through emails, follow-ups, management, corporate contacts, and customer surveys. Despite multiple assurances that someone would review my concerns, I never received a substantive response regarding my requested resolution. I was also enrolled as a paying member even though I was eligible for Silver & Fit. To the company's credit, that billing issue was mostly corrected and refunded. My disappointment is not simply about the length of the training sessions. It is about the inconsistent information provided at enrollment and the lack of follow-through afterward. Had the program been accurately explained from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision. The facility itself is nice and I enjoy many of the group fitness classes. However, my experience with enrollment, sales communication, and customer service has left me with little confidence that member concerns are taken seriously once a contract is signed. After months of conflicting information, unfulfilled promises to follow up, and unanswered attempts to resolve the matter, it remains unresolved and has left me feeling misled and undervalued as a customer. read more

I was a member at eos for years but recently quit and went to crunch. First cancellation process is BS and I have to pay another month even though I cancelled over a month ago which there is no record. Reason I cancel is my wife is my plus one when I go and they need me to come in the morning to set it up and because I work nights that's hard. Walked into crunch set up my wife at midnight from their front desk without all the upselling that my eos does. read more

Great equipment. The men's sauna is really nice. I like it better than the other locations The movie theater is a bit small. But I prefer it over the other location (other location had the volume too high and someone turned the movie to French when it started so I couldn't understand it. Didn't have my reading glasses on for subtitles) I really enjoy the outdoor area as well. At least now while it's cool outside. read more

Went in yesterday around 4pm. A tall black girl with straight dark brown copper colored hair checked me in using my number, I also bought a drink. She isn't very pleasant. She had a bad attitude. After she checked me out, she didn't let me kbow the transaction was complete. She just looked at me funny till i asked " Am I good?". She spoke very quietly I couldn't hear most of what she said.I expect to be greeted in a warm and friendly manner. A smile would be nice. Decent gym. Plenty of machines and bathroom stalls. The staff are kind but the massage room stinks, it's always hot in there and the massage beds compared to planet fitness are awful. They do nothing but rattle and jostle you. No kneading or massaging taking place there. I only got the highest membership for that reason and I wish I hadn't. read more

I have to give a shout out to my personal trainer, Isabella. I'm a 74 year old woman who use to be a gym girl many years ago. I decided I needed to start back with my weight training and joined the new EOS gym. I wanted a personal trainer and I found the best. Isabella is a perfect trainer for me. She also competes in in bodybuilding, so she knows how to train with correct form, breaking down the works into Push day, Pull day and Leg day. She is very knowledgeable and gives great feedback so you get the most out of your workouts. If you are looking for an experienced trainer Isabella is the trainer you'll want. read more

2 weeks is all it took for things to already fall apart and get destroyed. Seen a guy shaving the other day in the hot tub and it looks like he's not the only one. I love the amenities at EOS Fitness. The massage chairs are my favorite and such a nice bonus after a workout. The gym is usually not too busy when I go, so I am able to find a massage chair and use the equipment without any issues. I also really enjoy the infrared sauna. The gym is very big with many machines which means even during peak hours a machine I want to use is almost always available. So happy they built a gym close to my house, my health definitely appreciates this place. Very nice and feels premium for an EOS. Asked rob the manager for hot yoga schedule while enrolling my daughter never got it called back asked to have another manager send itto me manager never called back wanted to spend time with daughter did the seven day pass and then went to enroll permanently upon doing so the app didn't work engaged EOS four times was asked to go in twice to get it fixed. Ask the manager to contact me three times to get it fixed because when I went there on each occasion, their IT wasn't available or no one was there that could help me so I said have the manager call me that would be Jonaveh and guess what she never called me to find out what the issues were all she did was cancel my account. What impression does this give you of their management team? And their customer service? I was extremely courteous and professional, and tried to be understanding of each of their issues, but we all have threshold this truly was beyond pathetic. read more

Initially, I was really excited for this location to open up, however after signing up online and adding child care, I went in person excited to workout only find out child care center hasn't even opened yet. When I explained that the child care component was one of the main reason I decided on getting a membership and asked if my membership could be put on hold until it opens, I was told that they would charge me. So I then inquired about canceling, and again was told I would have to pay a cancellation fee despite never even working out there and only having had signed up for a membership less than 24 jours prior. After multiple calls I was given info to go online to a third party website and cancel my membership. Upon requesting cancellation I also requested a refund I was told of my enrollment fee would be refunded to my account in 10 days, that was on December 19th. As of January 3rd still no refund. Despite this hassle this location is very convenient for me, I was still interested in joining. So I call again today and speak to a front desk worker to simply ask if the child care center is operational. Instead of simply stating yes or no, she asks for my name, phone number etc to get to the customer service department. I inquired why that info was needed for a simple yes or no question. She refused to answer my question and insisted I give her my info before transferring me to a sales representative for them to simply tell me no it's not open. Honestly, I just wanted a smooth pain free experience but it seems like the workers are trained to coerce into staying with the threat of fees if you decide to cancel and get your info so that their sales department can pester you.
