I would start off first by saying that the gentleman that waited on us at the front desk was actually very very very nice and he did try to help us in the loudest to work out for free even though we were not from the inner loop circle, but the gym is made the equipment wasn't that great and if this is somewhere you think you wanna work out and then pay a day pass for I would avoid it. I'm not saying the gym is bad. It just doesn't have the gym that my local gym of the same brand has and doesn't carry as much equipment. Sad because I so look forward to working out here. That's why if you notice I didn't take a bunch of pictures it wasn't anything noticeable or anything. Great they do have a Jacobs ladder, but that's about it. And I had to pay $25 for parking for two hours which I thought was just ridiculous. I pay a membership to a Gym. I pay it monthly and then on top of that I've gone to other cities and use the same membership only to find out if you go to a premium or Lux Gym that doesn't have the same equipment you pay more and I had to pay for parking.

Was able to try out this gym last weekend. They have indoor and outdoor turf, plenty of cardio equipment and strength training machines. It was pretty clean inside. I didn't use locker rooms so can't comment on that. Noticed a fitness class going on.

    The workout is nice

To money hungry The workout machine are good and nice environment but, I'm disappointed on the sales people I apply in a different location and I was misinformed. I'm disappointed because I was told that I could come to this location as part of my membership and I ask the sales person if he was sure he said yes. I won't complain about the parking lot because of the location; you do pay. But I'm disappointed on the sales people not giving you the right information and not double checking if they are not sure That's why I mostly decided to get the membership because I was promised I could come to this location as well. If I knew this I would have stayed in my old gym that's more accessible in locations. overall bad experience with staff but the gym is ok

They play this garbage over football on Sundays smfh

They play wrestlers over football Sunday- location gets worst & worst. DO NOT RECOMMEND LOCATION -- small gym plus charge more than double compared other locations that are bigger

This location is pretty snazzy. The architecture on the outside and the layout and windows on the inside make me feel like I am not in Houston. It has a very coastal-Florida or Miami feel. There is a parking lot and parking garage but the garage isn't accessible right now. The gym is located on the second floor. On the second floor is group fitness room, recovery room, PT room and locker rooms. The third floor is cardio equipment, weights and a rooftop exercise area. I love the layout, it is very spacious. Like the Meyerland location had to for a bit, they are waiting on equipment for group fitness classes but the instructors do a great job of navigating what they have.

This gym QUADRUPLED my monthly payment without me agreeing to it, and now will not refund me even though I did not use the gym at all after the increase. Apparently they sent an email that I missed which makes it okay. There is never parking there, so have fun driving around for several minutes to find a spot, if AT ALL. I was also lied to about the price for the personal training and told that I must have misheard them. Hundreds of dollars later, I now have to cancel my account since they quadrupled my monthly payment and will lose all the personal training sessions I purchased. All of the 5 star reviews have to be fake. This is one of the worst gyms I have ever been to, with managers and staff that act like used car salesmen trying to get you to sign up for personal training sessions. Also, my debit card was stolen the same day as my EOS payment was supposed to come out, and they were going to charge me a big fee for my payment not going through, even after I told them what had happened. They said the only way for me to not be charged the fee, is if I come in and give them my personal banking information. VERY weird. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Stay away from this predatory, scamming establishment. Also, notice all the 5 star reviews for Brandon and Jayden all around the exact same time. This company is clearly using fake reviews to combat all the negative ones. Beware! EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN WRONGED BY EOS: File a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I have also attached a news article from Chron Houston news outlet with details of how horrible the gym is.

I have the black membership already and the website clearly states cryotherapy is included but when I asked at the desk I was told it would be an additional 50$ on top of my current black membership price?

The instructors are all awesome and they really push you. I also like that they aren't so pushy with buying more classes or gimmicky monitors. I recently tried Barry's and loved it so I figured I'd try this one as it's closer. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk got me checked in and told me I could wait until the earlier class finished so she could give me an overview. They do have lockers in the bathroom for your stuff; however, most people just left their stuff in the open cubbies at the front. One the earlier class let out, us first timers were brought into the room and shown how to work the treadmill since it wasn't a generic one. For this class, the room has blue lighting and the instructor is on an elevated platform (or should I say DJ booth). The stage is where the exercises are demonstrated and you can always look for the instructor. While Barry's usually does a clean split between time on the treadmill and then the floor... SWEAT has 5-7 minute intervals and rotations. I didn't love this as I was sharing a space with someone else so when I got to the floor... there was sweat from the other person over the bench and it was a bit gross. Additionally, I think more time gets wasted doing the transitions. The workout itself was great and the instructor was nice. When on the treadmill, I appreciate that they give a walk, jog and run option although with the speeds they mention... no way are you still walking unless you're doing your own thing. On the floor side, I do wish they offered more options or guidance to those who have injuries and can't do some movements. I understand it's a large class so it's not feasible but it's something to note. All in all, it was a good workout and I'd visit again BUT would still pick Barry's over this one.

I ran miles, did weights, went on adventures, felt EXTREMELY comfortable in a revealing bikini...all until September 2010 when I was in a very bad car accident. The accident ruptured a disk in my back and bulged multiple disks in my back and neck that resulted in chronic sciatic pain and a limp. I became sedentary due to my pain and limp, and subsequently gained weight while losing virtually all of my strength. When I was approached by a friend about doing CrossFit, I was reasonably skeptical about the benefits of doing a high intensity with my injury. I choose Vintage because the coaches are very attentive to my needs, and openly suggest modifications to my workout whenever I'm having trouble or I'm experiencing discomfort. They push me to challenge myself and my body at every workout, more importantly, they remind me to recognize the improvements I have made even on days when I feel like I've failed miserably. Vintage isn't just a place to work out or "GET RIPPED" (though they do that as well), but a community of people who push you to better yourself. I do not walk with a limp anymore, I experience less pain, and have built enough strength to recently compete in my first CrossFit competition. I couldn't have done it without Vintage! It was definitely hard and challenging but that's what makes it so great. Loved the reformer class with Kemi. She's great at adjustments and encouraging the class individually and as a whole. If I were new, it would probably be more like 2-3 stars. There's been a turnover of instructors, and they are rallying. While the new teachers are nice and putting in the effort, they lack foundational Pilates knowledge. Classes are similar to a spin class because instructors talk and encourage the WHOLE time. It ends up being a bit chaotic because people can't distinguish between the cheerleading, the necessary cues, or spring changes. Most importantly, the detailed form cues and corrections are missing. Classes feel rushed and lack clear direction on technique, which is the opposite of what Pilates should be. Classes can still be hard and appropriately paced. The cues and form are what makes Pilates hard, not rushing through moves. (Its also physically impossible to do a weighted low squat and a shoulder press within 1 second- let alone safely on a reformer. Why are we doing this?) It seems they all went to the same training class and haven't trained with different instructors so it's a problem across the 6-8 teachers I've tried in the last 3 months. If it weren't for Stacey and Caroline, I'd have moved to a closer studio by now. I hope the instructors undergo more training and are introduced to more than one type of teaching so they develop their own style. People are nice, and they are trying, but they aren't there yet.
