I would highly recommend going to a different gym. There are so many great options in Houston. I visited EoS on Friday, September 4th, with my wife, who is a member at another EoS location. I took a tour with the GM and ultimately decided to move forward with a membership. While reviewing the results from what I believe was my body scan, the GM asked me if I had high blood pressure. I told him that I had never been diagnosed with high blood pressure. He then told me that I had high blood pressure by looking at your sheet. That immediately concerned me. The GM is not a medical professional, and I don't believe someone at a gym should be making or presenting a medical diagnosis based on a body-scan reading. Looking back, that was the moment I should have walked away instead of signing up. Unfortunately, I did move forward with the membership, but I will not be returning to EoS. There are plenty of other gyms in Houston, and based on my experience, I would recommend considering another option read more

Smh! Let this serve as a warning to everyone! You better not sign up for this gym.. or any gym with them! While I thought I canceled my gym membership, I thought wrong! I canceled my membership on 1/10 and still I'm being charged even after calling multiple times, talking to multiple people and providing documentation of it being canceled! At this point I'm just going to get a new card! Because I don't even trust to go higher and call a GM or anything.. I really did try to keep it from going further! I would start off first by saying that the gentleman that waited on us at the front desk was actually very very very nice and he did try to help us in the loudest to work out for free even though we were not from the inner loop circle, but the gym is made the equipment wasn't that great and if this is somewhere you think you wanna work out and then pay a day pass for I would avoid it. I'm not saying the gym is bad. It just doesn't have the gym that my local gym of the same brand has and doesn't carry as much equipment. Sad because I so look forward to working out here. That's why if you notice I didn't take a bunch of pictures it wasn't anything noticeable or anything. Great they do have a Jacobs ladder, but that's about it. And I had to pay $25 for parking for two hours which I thought was just ridiculous. I pay a membership to a Gym. I pay it monthly and then on top of that I've gone to other cities and use the same membership only to find out if you go to a premium or Lux Gym that doesn't have the same equipment you pay more and I had to pay for parking. read more

To money hungry The workout machine are good and nice environment but, I'm disappointed on the sales people I apply in a different location and I was misinformed. I'm disappointed because I was told that I could come to this location as part of my membership and I ask the sales person if he was sure he said yes. I won't complain about the parking lot because of the location; you do pay. But I'm disappointed on the sales people not giving you the right information and not double checking if they are not sure That's why I mostly decided to get the membership because I was promised I could come to this location as well. ****If I could give it a 0, I would Friends! BEWARE! My recent experience at the EOS Fitness on Allen Parkway was not only unprofessional... it was SO disturbing and completely unacceptable! Me and my friend returned to the gym on November 13th specifically to address the previous unauthorized personal training charge on our account and to confront the staff member, Dejanee, about her attitude and behavior the day the additional charge was ran. What followed was the worst customer service experience I have ever had -- anywhere!!! During the original incident, she took my friends card under the agreement to process only the monthly membership fee. Instead, without consent or discussion, an additional $468 was ran on the card and reflected the next day for personal training services that are shown as medically frozen, not active, and never used on my account. This was unethical and completely inappropriate given all of the notes and conversations we have had with the gym about our freeze. When we came back to resolve it and address her terrible attitude, her behavior was unbelievable (y'all know that cringe micro aggressive tone). She interrupted me mid-sentence to help another person while we were actively trying to address an issue she created. Once we called out her errors and her unprofessional behavior, at a normal, regulatory tone she escalated the situation dramaticallyyyy. She attempted to have us removed from the gym, She called security, She contacted the police (and I contacted them as well), And even after that, she tracked us down during a workout class to pull us out in front of everyone. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and retaliatory. Her conduct went far beyond poor customer service. It was wildly inappropriate for someone working in a customer-facing role which I told her. The fact that management -- including Brian Kipp and Quanice have ignored every message, attempt for a call, and escalation attempt only makes this worse. No acknowledgment. No correction. 0 accountability. This is not a small mistake. This is mismanagement and employee misconduct on multiple levels. We are now moving forward with formal complaints to EOS corporate, our financial institutions, and consumer protection agencies. No paying member should ever have to deal with unauthorized charges, retaliation, or humiliation inside their PAID/member gym. I strongly urge anyone considering this location to protect their payment information, document every interaction, and be aware of the complete lack of professionalism at this facility. read more

I've been coming to this gym for about a year and up until recently I would give this place 5 stars! However, recently they've decided to downgrade the locker rooms. For a luxe location to downgrade their lockers without anyone knowing was a big shock. The lockers before were great and you didn't need your own lock which is a selling point for me but without anyone knowing the changes they were making a lot of us are now carrying our bags around everywhere which wasn't an issue before. Pretty interesting for a "luxe" location to downgrade anything but the membership cost hasn't gone down. Not to mention this is by far the HOTTEST indoor gym I've ever been to. Apparently the AC is controlled by corporate which is wild considering houston climate is more miserable than most. It's better to work out outside even in the summer because you at least get airflow that way. Other than the downgrades and the heat it's a pretty solid gym. Gets extremely busy during peek hours but that's expected. read more

So I went in today to verify my top tier level membership. I was paired with the Personal Trainer Manager (PTM). Sadly, I can't remember his name. Everything went well until he wanted me to buy a training package. I can't afford anything else right now. I politely begged off. That's when he smirked at me and said, "Ok, so you know everything and that's why you're in such great shape." Wow! The PTM trying to shame me since I couldn't afford his package. What a "great" sales tactic. After that, not only will I never buy it, I'm considering dropping my membership completely. I have been a member of EōS Fitness at the HWY 6 & West Road location in Houston since the day it opened in 2025. I was genuinely excited about this gym and canceled memberships elsewhere to commit here. Unfortunately, my experience in January 2026 has been deeply frustrating and honestly humiliating. I had an encounter with an employee named Emily who was extremely rude, aggressive, and treated me in a way that felt racially biased and completely unprofessional. I was denied access to the gym because my payment had been due two days prior. I calmly explained that I had already made the payment online that same morning before arriving. Despite this, she demanded that I personally prove the payment to her or leave the building. This was embarrassing and unnecessary, especially considering the payment was less than 48 hours late and already resolved. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the manager was "there" but unavailable because they were working out. That alone was shocking. I then had to contact a general manager from a different EōS location, who confirmed that the way I was handled was wrong and assured me my concerns would be escalated to the location manager and district manager. I never heard from either of them--not once. Instead, on February 12, 2026, I received a threatening email from EōS Risk & Asset Protection in Carlsbad, CA accusing me of behavior "averse to the interest and well-being of EōS Fitness" and issuing me a Formal Warning, with no prior investigation, no phone call, and no opportunity to be heard. After everything I went through, this felt insulting and completely out of line. This entire situation has been extremely frustrating and humbling. I waited months for this location to open, supported the brand, and followed their policies--only to be treated like a problem instead of a paying member. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic respect is unacceptable. This experience has shown me that this is the type of behavior EōS allows and protects, and that is deeply disappointing. This location is pretty snazzy. The architecture on the outside and the layout and windows on the inside make me feel like I am not in Houston. It has a very coastal-Florida or Miami feel. There is a parking lot and parking garage but the garage isn't accessible right now. The gym is located on the second floor. On the second floor is group fitness room, recovery room, PT room and locker rooms. The third floor is cardio equipment, weights and a rooftop exercise area. I love the layout, it is very spacious. Like the Meyerland location had to for a bit, they are waiting on equipment for group fitness classes but the instructors do a great job of navigating what they have. read more

I went in for a tour yesterday and it's a very nice gym! Love the shaded outdoor workout area. What would make this a great gym is if the black card membership, entitled you to an exclusive black card section of the gym to workout. Black card should get you a more exclusive workout experience. Not just the wind down amenities. Currently every tier member works out together and the gym gets pretty crowded w college kids it appeared. Would be nice to pay a little extra for a peaceful workout. read more

I booked a 7 day trail pass online because this is close to my office in downtown Houston. After a few text back and forth and one phone call I went to the gym to check it out. After full tour and a 45min spill on memberships ( which was honestly not that bad hats off to max he was understanding and empathic ). I was told that because I didn't live close to the gym and only work next to it I would qualify. They then told me that if I could prove I worked in downtown less then 1.2 miles away I could do the pass. Only to find out that it was not true. Staff was rude and staff members as they did even acknowledge me. Which is crazy because as a company, you should want to provide a Disney experience to your members, making them each feel valued and unique. To be honest, what's frustrating is the manager could've offered a one day courtesy pass for me to try the gym to see if it was one that I wanted to join but that was not even offered. I wasted my time coming by to check out the gym when I could've been home with my family after work. I will be utilizing LA fitness in downtown even though it's $180 more. read more

Since February the men's locker room at this location has been at 50% capacity, as half of the lockers are blocked off for construction (yet there is never anyone in there working on anything) and 4 of the 7 showers have been without water. I submitted a complaint on the website about this same issue in early April and received a reply from the Member Experience Manager. While I appreciate the response, a response means very little without actually resolving the issues. Here are the issues. The gym currently has only 1 working shower in the men's locker room. Only 1 out of 7 showers works; that is unacceptable. Furthermore, when something to this magnitude is inaccessible to the members, we should be notified. That has still not happened. We are paying 4x the rate we were paying when we originally signed up, because we're being told that this is a luxe location. It's difficult to justify this being a luxe location when the amenities aren't maintained or even available for the patrons to use. Beyond frustrated and disappointed. read more

This gym QUADRUPLED my monthly payment without me agreeing to it, and now will not refund me even though I did not use the gym at all after the increase. Apparently they sent an email that I missed which makes it okay. There is never parking there, so have fun driving around for several minutes to find a spot, if AT ALL. I was also lied to about the price for the personal training and told that I must have misheard them. Hundreds of dollars later, I now have to cancel my account since they quadrupled my monthly payment and will lose all the personal training sessions I purchased. All of the 5 star reviews have to be fake. This is one of the worst gyms I have ever been to, with managers and staff that act like used car salesmen trying to get you to sign up for personal training sessions. Also, my debit card was stolen the same day as my EOS payment was supposed to come out, and they were going to charge me a big fee for my payment not going through, even after I told them what had happened. They said the only way for me to not be charged the fee, is if I come in and give them my personal banking information. VERY weird. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Stay away from this predatory, scamming establishment. Also, notice all the 5 star reviews for Brandon and Jayden all around the exact same time. This company is clearly using fake reviews to combat all the negative ones. Beware! EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN WRONGED BY EOS: File a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Laren was great when I visited EOS the Rosenberg location. I noticed Lauren when she walked into the pool and sauna area. her presence commanded my attention. She was athletically professionally dressed, laser focused on the safety and care for the the area I was working out in. I knew that I was in the right gym with a presence such as Lauren's I can't say enough about this young lady. I hope her work ethic rubs off on many of EOS employees. read more

I was dissatisfied with the gym I was going to in EaDo so I decided to try EOS with a friend and ended up joining. I know a lot of people have said negative things about this place but out of all the commercial gyms I have been a part of, EOS is by far the best in my personal opinion. It is important to note that my experience is also probably a little different because I visit the gym mainly around 5 a.m. so please keep that in mind. As many have pointed out, parking can be a little tricky due to the popularity of this gym. But to be fair, there are a LOT of spots available. The parking lot was also recently expanded and I believe there are plans to open up the parking garage underneath the gym soon as well. The first thing you'll notice walking up to the building is that it looks like some sort of futuristic spaceship with RGB lighting coming out of different windows. When you walk into the lobby you are always greeted by friendly staff, which I personally really value and find helps me start my workouts on the right foot. The machines are all high quality and in good working condition. I have only seen machines broken a few times and they are fixed within a day or two. I was initially very impressed with the wide variety of machines as well as their quality. There are a ton of squat racks equipped with calibrated plates and deadlift platforms, plenty of benches, and plenty of dumbbells with more multiples in commonly used weights, and 2.5 lb. increments between most of the weights as well. The gym is very popular. If you go anywhere near peak hours you should expect to wait for equipment. To many people, this is a downside but I personally believe you can't fault a gym for being awesome! The crowd at the gym tend to skew younger but I have seen members of all different ages here. Lastly, this gym's premium membership which comes with unlimited guest passes among other great benefits, is only $30 a month......it almost seems too good to be true. They do have an annual charge but the salesman was very upfront about all the charges and exact amounts, which has not been my experience at other commercial gyms. If you are looking for a solid gym at an unbeatable price and don't mind the wait (depending on what time you go), this gym is for you. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

I had a membership here back in 2023 and the gym was always super crowded and parking was a nightmare. My personal trainer, Carlos, at the time was actually pretty good and made it worth the trouble to attend. The big issue started when I got a new job and was moving out of the city to Austin. I had gone in person and talked to the manager at the time to cancel my membership because I was moving. He had supposedly cancelled it and told me I was set and that there would be no more charges after January 2024. It is August 2025 and they are still trying to charge me monthly for the membership. I have talked to support who told me they cancelled my membership, I have called the gym itself and they told me is was cancelled, but I had to go as far as telling Discover to not allow them to charge my card anymore. DO NOT GO HERE. The staff are useless and the membership is a scam. read more

I was so excited about EŌS when they first opened. Great amenities! Great price. Meyerland is my favorite based on facility amenities but Allen is preferred for group class options. Over time they really lowered the bar. It started when their pool heater broke earlier this year (@the Meyerland location) and took months to fix. They held water aerobics in the freezing water for a while until they moved it to the aerobics room. It also had the most disgusting particles floating in the hot tub. I mean huge layers of dead skin. *dry heave* Then there's the Allen Parkway location. You were able to park in the surface lot and underground parking when I first started going. Then the underground parking closed presumably bc residents were complaining and then half the surface lot is used for valet or something (bc it's coned off). I'd be upset too if I was a resident paying $$$$ money for an apartment and can't find a park but was what was EOS's plan here? How did they get parking counts approved with the City of Houston? It's absolutely terrible. The option times for classes at Meyerland are poorly planned. A 60 min body pump class at 8:15a and spin at 9am. You can't go to multiple classes back to back. Allen parkway does better with their body pump class and Pilates following but if you can't find a parking spaces then who cares! The BIGGEST annoyance is being butt-naked in the shower and realizing there isn't any soap or hot water...Lmbo! Its happened in the morning a couple times (shame on me the second time it happened). joined this gym because of a promo that said "Pay $1 today, get 30 days of membership." It sounded like a great deal. But just two weeks in, they charged me a full month's subscription and added a $64 annual fee that was never mentioned. That is not 30 days for $1. The worst part has been dealing with their staff. They act friendly until you actually need help. I've been calling for over two weeks trying to speak to a manager. Every time, I'm told "they're not in" or "they're on a two-week vacation." No one ever seems to know what's going on. When I ask if the manager will be in later today, I get responses like "I don't know." How does no one know if their own boss is coming in? Is this your first day? When the manager finally reached out, she never followed up and didn't respond to any of my emails. It's clear they don't take customer concerns seriously and hope you'll just give up. Don't fall for the gimmicks. This gym is a mess with dishonest billing, fake-friendly staff, and no accountability. There are better gyms out there that respect their members. Stay far away. read more

A great place to workout and feel so motivated by the people around you. From the second you enter you're welcomed by a friendly face, wishing you a great workout and the energy in the gym is everything you need to get a good kick start to your workout. They have an amazing patio turf rooftop with great views and a bunch of equipment and areas for various workouts. They have a great range of machines and plenty of weights to go around. I also have found it handy to use there vending drinks machine to get an extra boost before my workout. The changing rooms are well kept, tidy and cleaned often as well as the rest of the gym, you'll never feel icky or dirty in this place, the members and workers are all very good at following the wipe down after use rule. read more

I wanted to give this gym another chance. I went at 5:15am on a weekday and it was PACKED, barely any parking and most disturbing is the lack of cleanliness. It's just completely unkept. I switched gyms and specifically asked to do their cheapest plan because this location literally doesn't have anything that the non lux locations don't. The salesperson put me on the most expensive plan instead without my knowledge. When I finally noticed and tried to change it, they told me there will be a $50 downgrade fee. I ended up canceling, and turns out they still get one more payment out of you unless you call your bank. Total corporate scams, avoid if you can. read more

In April I was told that my membership was canceled. I had been going to the gym almost daily since they opened. When I spoke with a manager they informed me that I came in and canceled back in February, due to overcrowding. That never happened. They told me that I would have to get a new membership since my membership had been canceled for 2 months. While they did push back my annual fee, I was no longer eligible for the introductory rate I received for the Black plan and now have to pay more. I very rarely come to this location now due to the parking and overcrowding. No one ever puts equipment back and all the clips for the benches and olympic weights are missing.
