Visiting out of town for work- my hotel gave me a free day pass. Super nice and clean gym. The staff were all super helpful and gave good guidance. The women's locker room is so nice- there's a steam room, sauna, and 2 hot tubs in the back. And tons of get ready stations. Overall I really enjoyed getting to visit and still get my work outs in. Their normal day pass is $60 and the membership is roughly $239 a month. But overall it was great ! read more

This place is super fancy but the attitude of the employees is absolutely horrendous. We left this club years ago only the discover that LA fitness is 100x better at 1/10th of the price. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this wanna be diamond club like the plague. read more

For $250 a month, this gym falls far short of the "country club" experience it promises. Numerous issues I've raised with management have gone unresolved, met with either indifference or ineffectiveness. There's only one Precor elliptical--the industry standard--meaning members often have to wait while several treadmills and stairclimbers sit empty. Many hotel gyms offer more variety and equipment than this one. The only water fountain on the main gym floor has been pumping out lukewarm water for months, with one excuse after another for why it hasn't been fixed. Even simple requests, like changing a TV channel, are met with apathy. When traveling, I've used other Lifetime locations that are head and shoulders above this one. Unfortunately, Lifetime GreenStreet doesn't live up to the brand's reputation or the price tag. read more

Great location! Natalie is an absolute professional! She is super nice and provides great customer! The location is smaller than most, however this location is very nice because they have a cold plunge! The cold plunge is super nice and very cold! Sauna to cold plunge is the best. They have everything you need here! I'll definitely come back. Hard to find at first. Just park at green street garage. Get to the 3rd floor and walk across bridge. It's brand new! Let's start there! Everything is clean and new! This location is downtown in the GreenStreet area. Park in the GreenStreet parking garage and get your parking validated when you come and workout. There is a skybridge on level two that will lead you straight to the gym. So far, there is plenty of staff around to answer questions or direct you if you get lost. There are a lot of steps as the gym is multi-level. There are elevators though if needed. There is a spa that offers a full service hair salon, massage, facials, as well as nail care. You can book appointments through the Life Time app but think they may accept walk-ins. There is a cafe that has a breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu as well as grab and go options. All the cardio machines have smart screens and Bluetooth enabled. There are free weights, weight machines, a functional strength area, as well as studios for cycle, group fitness, barre, Pilates, and yoga. Much needed for downtown Houston! read more

Amazing gym, they have an assortment of classes and all the instructors are great especially Eva! She is the best, I try to take all her classes, she makes them so fun! The gym has everything you could possibly want or imagine needing. They have a separate steam room, hot tub and sauna for women and I'm assuming men have their own as well. It's super clean all the time. The pool, my goodness, it is the most amazing pool ever, cabana style. There is a water slide for the kiddos. Hot tub outside and indoors, pools indoors and out. This is my favorite Life Time location by far. It's brand new and absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen a machine out of order here and all of their machines are brand new, whereas at other location there would be older and newer. The locker room is huge and this location has not only a hot spa but a cold one too which is super refreshing and energizing. This location is far less busy than others, you never have to wait to use a machine and oftentimes I have the sauna/steam room all to myself. The spa is great too and really convenient/reasonably priced. Liz cut my hair today and did a wonderful job. Surprisingly this club is much lower priced compared to others, it's $100 less than Greenway for example and I find it to be much better. Highly recommend! read more

My favorite gym ever! I've been a member here since opening week in June but used to frequent the Cinco Ranch, Champions, and City Centre locations. Although it's a smaller location and lacks some amenities that the bigger LT locations have (indoor/outdoor pool, rockclimbing wall, etc) I personally think the cleanliness, tidiness, friendly staff, and location make it all worth it. Also, I'm a sucker for big windows, so the downstairs Alpha area is 10/10 for good that natural light and open air. They also do take members' feedback into consideration, which is nice. I do wish their Sat-Sun hours could be extended past 5pm, but I understand that's just the trade-off of being in downtown. More about the staff - they really make an effort to know your name/face and genuinely greet you. I couldn't ask for or expect more than that because they probably come across a TON of people daily. Cleanliness/tidiness - the operations team is constantly cleaning, wiping down, and resetting everything, it lowkey puts other LT locations to shame! I really truly appreciate this aspect. Other LT locations are "dirty" per se, but I don't think I see nearly as many (if at all) operations team members walking around and monitoring, so there's sometimes a build up of sanitizing wipes on the floor or mis-racked weights. I haven't experienced that here. Location - this is the only LT inside the loop other than the greenway location, and as someone who lives closer to the heights, I appreciate not needing to drive further south to go workout. It's right down the street from my work, and the parking garage is easy to navigate (maybe not for first time goers though). read more

I would give it more stars but the receptionist Stephanie was rude why would anyone pay over $200 to be treated with such rude attitude no thanks! Front desk should be the nicest person in the building period not here though. All I said was "this is my first time at this location" didn't greet me or even smile she just said we will let you come in this time on a pass as if I'm not a member didn't offer a tour or even point me in the right direction to changing room. I asked what was special about this gym if they had any of the amenities normally offered such as rock climbing etc she said no just the location with a rude look. Smh read more

What's going on with this lifetime? New management? We left the greenway location because of bad management and started coming to this one. All the reasons we left the other location seem to have come to this location. For example they use to say hello and/or how are you doing when you walked in. Now they don't even say a word to you. Not friendly and just robotic in their actions. The locker room doesn't seem to be regularly attended with towels all over the place (I'll post pictures next time). The lifetime cafe is the worst part and I know that the assistant manager recently got moved from the greenway location to this one. Since she has been here they haven't had the rainforest bowl, which she did the same thing at the other location. Today we ordered a southwest bowl and a LT bowl. They came out separately and about 20 minutes apart. This location is going down hill really fast. Update 8/2/22: the gym is filthy! Floors are wet and dirty, no towels, and no one managing the locker room. The guy who usually does an excellent job is on the floor, which makes me think maybe their understaffed. Except the guy running the front desk is not greeting people and I had to wait for him to get off his cell phone to scan me in. I have gone to a lot of lifetime fitness gyms, and this was nothing special. The locker room did not look very clean, the floors were dirty. The actual gym smelled bad but they did have a good selection of gym equipment so that was nice. read more

This was an ok gym before they got rid of all the low impact cardio machines. I came in today and all the recumbent bikes and elliptical machines aside from 4 are gone! Meanwhile there are 10000 stair climbers and treadmills empty... this is super disappointing, if they want to add more weight lifting are fine, but have an even distribution of low impact cardio equipment for those that come here for that. Might as well use my apt gym now and cancel my membership... ridiculous smh also they close at 10pm (530pm on weekends) and kick you out immediately at 930 from the locker room which is crazy since all the other locations are open until midnight. For over $200 a month that's unacceptable and makes other gyms in the area a better alternative. read more

*Member for 6 months* Clean clean clean! The gym is always well kept whether it be for cleanliness or weights put back in the correct place. I love how I don't have to feel icky walking around the locker room barefoot. The staff is great and they seem to enjoy their job whether they're putting on a persona or just truly like their job. Either or, good job on hiring the right people. The weights are top notch and there are classes for every walk of life. So I give this location a 4 star for three main reasons: 1. Nobody uses the Cafe and especially the bar. Such a waste of space. Lower prices so members can actually utilize the area. The food/drinks are outrageous. Breaking even with lower prices is better than nothing. It's actually kinda embarrassing with the lack of clientele in those areas. 2. I think everyone can agree the open hours are pretty bad 3. I know this is petty but bleach white towels are a must. The stained towels need to go. Also put a big analog clock in the spa area. Seems like everyone is always wondering what the time is back there. OVERALL I LOVE MY GYM! read more

Overall it's a really good gym. However, it is like a miniature version of a true lifetime. If it's a 5th the size of the lifetime I went to yesterday id be shocked. It is extremely clean and people are polite and courteous though, so I don't mind spending the 200$ a month and not being grossed out taking a shower. read more

While the gym is clean and there are many weights and machines, the poor attitudes of staff are the reason(s) I decided to quit and go elsewhere. In-person and on the phone, staff are consistently rude, sarcastic and disrespectful at times. For the price, at the bare minimum, one would expect to be treated kindly but the attitudes of three of the women and one male made for very unfortunate experiences. I came to Lifetime from Equinox about 6 months ago. Its a massive step up! I love it, the amenities are incredible. The staff is great and very friendly. The equipment is very good. There are plenty of squat racks, 4 bench presses, and enough equipment for all. I go mid day and it's never too busy. Overall great value and definitely a 5 star health club! read more

For what I pay this gym is trash. Thy have 3 elliptical machines and only two work. The machines are always breaking and they do not put signs up nor replace them. I wanted to cancel long ago because of other issues at the gym (not enough parking, parking attendants, they close randomly due to flooding, front desk lady, etc). But downtown is a gym desert. I agree with everyone who say the front desk staff can be a little..eh. rude maybe? The girl with the glasses is the worst offender. How did she get this job? She's so unfriendly. Anyway, they've hired another with dark curly hair who seems much nicer. Nice gym, beautiful amenities. Tried the smoothies and not sure where it goes wrong? They taste horrible. The class instructors are awesome. So they have that but they keep adjusting class times. Also, hoarding weight lifting equipment during alpha class and during peak hours 6a 6p is criminal. Who thought of that? Overall, needs a lot of work, overpriced for what it offers and how small it is but if you like clean locker rooms, showers, towel services, spas, classes with great instructors you'll like this gym. But if you're a serious fitness head or powerlifter, you're better off looking elsewhere. read more

I've been a member for a few months. The positives are that it's clean. Nice bathrooms. / showers. BUT the free weight area on the second floor is SO SMALL AND CRAMMED. Like comically small. Please for the love of god get rid of a few of the 1000 stair masters you have that no one uses and extend the free weights / bench area. They have been nothing but great while I've been here! The two women up front are warm and welcoming. I have continuously found myself getting lost en route to the parking garage. Been a member of Lifetime Downtown for 2 weeks. The Alpha classes takes up all the squat racks from 6am - 8am. So if you're an early riser and workout in the morning do not plan on using a squat rack which is very unfortunate considering I'm paying $200 a month. The gyms main workout area is flooded with cardio machines. The weight area is very small. There's only one of every machine people like to use. The GM sent me an email stating to reach out to him if I had any concerns. I emailed him twice and was ignored. Hopefully we get another luxury gym in the downtown area so I can get rid of this membership. read more

This place is pretty awful with customer service....you think "what do I need customer service for at a gym?" but ultimately you'll need some and this team is pretty poor at it. I was downstairs in the cafe on Mon 1/3/22 when I got a text from my gfriend that she just tested positive for COVID so I got up and walked straight out the door and left my unused gym bag & clothes in locker 156 and called the gym with the scoop and requested they hold onto my stuff. For the next few weeks I called them to find out what they did with my stuff and staff would talk, get my info but never call me back so I went into the gym and they wouldn't even look at it. I called in 2 weeks ago for the 4th time and one of the staff dutifully took my info and said she'd call me back in a few minutes and again I never heard from anyone. Just spoke to her again and she said she looked for my stuff but couldn't find anything....no real reason when I asked why she wouldn't call me back like she promised. There's only one thing I can conclude; they really just don't give a sh!t. read more

Diamond club my ass! This is definitely the most disappointing gym in town. The front desk is extremely rude and is full of like 3 people who watch you like a hawk when you walk in the door. The gym floor is very uncomfortable since the trainers are extremely aggressive and scout the customers for sessions. The men's locker room definitely takes the cake. The crime is through the roof and there is tons of stuff stolen in here. I have literally had my locker opened over a dozen times since I've been a member. Swimsuits have been stolen since that's the only value item I keep in there. My buddies have had expensive jewelry taken and many more items that are of very high value. This company has a very unusual culture. They treat their employees like crap and in return the employees treat the customer with absolutely no respect. There are too many gyms in town to put up with this nonsense. Go to LA fitness for 1/10 of the price and they treat you like gold. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. read more

Wow where do I even begin , I thought this was the premier gym in Houston to go to. Even though the gym is really nice the employees here are better suit for a ymca/planet fitness. Very rude and unprofessional staff, the manager Felicia didn't care to hear what I have to say and gave me a "if you don't like it go somewhere else" type attitude. Very unfortunate that a nice gym like this is run by a bunch of unprofessional "thugs". From being yelled at by the towel attendant for not having a mask on in the locker room (I was walking into the showers) and to Felicia blowing me off and not taking anything I had to say serious. Seems like once they got there memberships up they stopped caring about the customer service and experience of the gym goers. I had my friend with me from out of town and I was embarrassed by how we were treated here. Save your money and go elsewhere!! read more

I've had two bad experiences with two lifetime gyms and I'm sick of the way they treat their customers. They are rude to customers kicking you out of the locker room 15 minutes before they close for an example. The manager Felicia acted like she was taking my complaint seriously but after I met with her it felt like she put a target on my back and every employee started treating me disrespectfully and I felt like they wanted to push me out. They don't even try to take action to better the experience they give to customers who pay top dollar.
