Staff are nice, but they are all pretty young. Lots of people just walk in. The workout area is clean and there's tons of machine, weight and mat options. I just had a full knee replacement, after my workout, I need the hot tub to calm my angry muscles. For the last couple of weeks its been baby temp. My Colemen inflatable hot tub gets too 104. This is a nice gym. My main problem is how busy it is it's crazy when you have lines of people waiting to use equipment. But that's not what brought me here. If you're going to get a membership here just download the app and do it on your own. If you talk to the employees here. It's like trying to buy a vehicle with all these add ons and extra charges. They speed through the process and get you signed up for things you weren't aware you were signing up for. So if you wanna go here just be aware of that. I got stuck with a 4 month personal training plan when I was thinking that I was only signing up for one session and then all they said they could do was freeze it but I would owe the money regardless. It's been a long time since I've had a gym membership, so I thought I'd maybe change that. I came to check out the facility and get a tour. As I anticipated, the facility was very nice and clean. There are a lot of different things you can do. However what I didn't expect, was for it to feel like a car dealership. At the end of the tour it came time to sit at the table with our "salesman". After a long while back and forth, I told him that I was really just looking right now and wanted to check out other gyms before pulling the trigger. This prompted him to go get the "sales manager" to come and talk to me. All she said though was " do you have any questions?" And then went on her merry way. It was all just so pushy and the sales guy kept reminding me that their "special" deal that was going on wouldn't be happening much longer. However since I went a few weeks ago, they have been emailing me almost daily about the deal . One cool thing about a gym like this is they have built in child care. I was looking forward to seeing it, but no one is actually allowed to go back and see the full facility, which makes sense I suppose. I asked how they care for younger children (6 months - 1 year) and I didn't love their answer. Which was that they rarely have kids that small so they didn't really know. They also said they don't always have full coverage and we're having staffing issues at the time. I wouldn't expect world class childcare to be here, but they just didn't instill a lot of confidence. read more

If I could, I would leave a zero star review. I don't recommend anyone using a company that is deceitful and doesn't do the right thing. Their website clearly states that an adult has to sign a contract for a minor. They signed up my 16-year-old daughter and wouldn't let her cancel without a cancellation fee. Minors cannot enter into legal contracts. We tried to email, call and go in person to talk to them and to ask them to do the right thing. Even though their company policy clearly states that a minor cannot sign a contract, they will not wave the cancellation fee. They now are trying to send it to collections. Worst gym I have ever been to. Most of the employees have terrible customer service and judgment skills. There's a reason why their gym promotions are so cheap. I only used the facilities at their gym once. I decided it has no use for me, as I don't live in their neighborhood and I thought the employees there lacked discretion. I canceled the membership right away, before the end of the year (2023). Not only did the employee ignore or forget my request to cancel, an employee at the management level failed to understand what happened. I was charged for something I never used. They refused to issue a refund for their mistake. It's as if they were just preying on the customer/gym user, the whole time. I would not recommend their "gym" to anyone. read more

The gym overall is alright. Some of the equipment doesn't work properly but is still usable. The big thing for me and 50% of the reason I got a gym membership is because of the sauna. Unfortunately this location has been very disappointing. The door opens the wrong way, sucking cold air into the room and the door spring shuts very slow so when ever someone opens the door without closing it behind them (90% of people) the room drops like 10 degrees which causes the sauna to work overtime and will trip the breaker. In my 30 minutes of sitting in the sauna I have to re-trip the breaker on the machine like 3-4 times and the sauna never reaches the ~190 degrees that it should regulate at. For this reason I am choosing to go to other locations or get a different gym membership with better working equipment and saunas. Recommended fixes; * Revers door in sauna to open out words * Tighten the spring on sauna door to close faster * Make sure the sauna machine can regulate temperature at 185-195 (without it tripping) PS my one star review is to try to get their attention to fix the issues. I have never enjoyed going to a gym as I always felt very intimidated by all of the equipment and felt very self-conscious about my appearance. But this time, with the encouragement of my husband, I decided to give going to the gym another try to work on ME and do it for ME - to lose weight, to feel more confident and just get healthy...- but this time I was going to pay the extra money and get a personal trainer. After checking and researching personal trainers I was blown away by how much private personal trainers were - so far out of my budget. Finally my husband decided to give EOS at Jordan landing a try - walked In one Saturday afternoon without an appointment. Meet with someone and fully explained what I was looking for - especially from a personal trainer and what I was willing to pay - as I know that I won't come on my own. I met with Brandon Olson the following week. Prior to our meeting he texted me to introduce himself to me. During our first meeting I fully explained what I was looking for in both my health and my expectations in a trainer / I specifically need a cheerleader to encourage but also challenge me to push myself. It's been over 2 months since I joined and since Brandon has been helping me. After my first month, with Brandon's guidance, expertise and encouragement I have already lost about 10 pounds - my husband has noticed specific problem areas changing and toning up. I know this place always seems busy - but I have never had an issue with any of the concerns expressed in other reviews and it has always appeared very cleans and well maintained. For someone who really dislikes all forms of exercise, I look forward to meeting with Brandon each week - it's a nice change to have encouragement and support and also makes my hour there 3 times a week a lot more enjoyable. read more

This gym is Always packed unless it's Sunday. When it rains the roof leaks. The cinema is always dirty. The repairs take over a month to o get done. Update: machines still not fixed the sprays and paper towels rarely get replaced. The scale hasn't been charged or batteries been replaced which ever it is. I wouldn't recommend. It's way too crowded. I try and go around 10:30-11 or 2-ish depending on work stuff and still I have to wait on a bench or feel awkward trying to find a spot on the floor. I made the mistake once going at 5pm and couldn't finish my workout. Too many people waiting on weights and benches. So frustrating. They need more recline benches for sure. I'm sure they love a busy gym but there has to be some sort of balance. Overall the gym is pretty clean. It did take forever for them to fix one of the paper towels stations. The roof leaks but they don't seem to care. After a few of us pointed out various leaks, they didn't even put down anything to catch the drips. They are still leaking several weeks later. The pool needs cleaned. The floor inside the pool had like dirt/sand in spots last time I was in it. Next time I plan to wear my pool shoes. I wish paper towels were in the bathroom so I always grab some from outside the bathroom so I can properly dry my hands instead of using the air dryers which have been proven over and over to only spread germs. I once utilized a trainer and explained my injuries with my spine and nerve pain and he then had me do exercises I was trying to avoid because of pain. I almost left crying. It was clear that he had zero training in being a trainer. Especially working around someone with a spine injury and nerve pain. The lockers in the main area are mostly non functional. The dials don't turn. One employee said she hated them because they are always broken. So no, do not recommend. If considering, stop by during peak hours to see for yourself and try the smaller local gyms as well. I needed a place with a pool for some of my injury recovery needs. Hate this place. Bad free weight selection (for some reason all of the EOS gyms hate 2.5 pound plates), and forget ever getting a good workout. No machines/racks/benches/etc are ever free unless you come at like 3:30 in the morning. Bathrooms aren't super clean. Canceling. This place killed my motivation to go to the gym at all. They lie to your face to sign up. My friend and I went in and asked 4-6x if there were any additional fees. Kyyler told us repeatedly that there was nothing more. What we saw was the deal to get signed up. Two weeks later my card is hit with a $150 annual membership fee. We NEVER would have signed up had we known this was a fee. Never. I fought for the money, they still charged us another month, so essentially I'm out $250. Manager didn't care. Customer service didn't care. No one would refund. They didn't care that their employee lied. They were just happy to steal my money and go on their way. Choose any gym but EoS. read more

TLDR: Fine gym, but they won't process your request to cancel and lie about refunds I originally really liked this gym, but as soon as I tried canceling my membership things went south. I know that's classic for gyms, but I really hoped EOS would be different. The first time I went in to cancel, they made a note to cancel me, tried to talk me into just "pausing" my membership. I declined and requested the cancelation. This was in September. Come January I realize they've continued to bill me every month. My bad for not paying enough attention to my bank account I guess. So I go in and they say they have no record of me ever coming in the first time. They apologize for the inconvenience, say I will receive a refund and cancelation ASAP. That sounds great and all, but here I am a month later and guess who got charged for another month. THIS GUY. UPDATE: I reached out to the contact in the response below and was basically told the employee lied and this month's fee was just a 30-day cancelation fee. So they managed to squeeze yet another month's fee out of me. Oh and obviously there won't be a refund, despite the fault lying solely on the employee not processing my original cancelation. When you cancel your membership they keep billing you for another month. Just a way to get more money from you. Very disappointed in this. Nice gym, lousy business practices that probably aren't legal. Thank you for your response. Even with disclosure of your policy it's definitely not legal. Someone will start a class action suit against your company shortly I'm sure. You owe every member who has cancelled $10.71. You can't reasonably charge for an extra month after someone cancels even if you disclose it prior. It's not reasonable, which is what a court will look at. Go to a different gym. I signed up for this gym, the guy who set my membership up showed me around, explained everything they have to offer, sat me down at his desk to sign me up, and as he was signing me up, for the terms and conditions he blew past any important information like saying there's a $80 membership fee. When he was setting me up for an account he said "sign this pad, this is just the terms and conditions, nothing crazy". I signed it and paid my sign up fee for $20. I was told the $20 is the only fee I'd have. Then I checked my bank account a few weeks later, and they charged that $80 membership fee. I went into the gym and asked what it was about. They said it was because at the end of each year, they charge a membership fee. I told them I was never explained this when I set up the membership, and they said "it was in your user agreement". I then asked if I can cancel or downgrade. They said "you'll be charged $50 to cancel or downgrade but we can look into it for you and give you a call with what we find out". I waited until the final day before they charged me for another month of having the membership, and never got a call. This whole gym is ran by kids who don't know what they're doing. Poor management and training. I'm a pretty understandable person, but if I'm told I only have to pay $20, that's my expectation. Had the guy who signed me up told me "by the way, it's coming up on the end of the year, there IS a $80 fee you'll be charged, just a heads up" I wouldn't chosen to sign up at the beginning of the year. But because they didn't disclose this, and they failed to follow through on calling me to go over the $50 fee for cancelling or downgrading, I don't trust them whatsoever. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was on a Sunday. I met a young man named Ryker who was cleaning. I commended and thanked him for cleaning. Facility (West Jordan location) has all amenities of a good gym. Cleanliness of locker room/restroom areas need more attention. Group fitness classes are some of the best I've participated in and Ciera Keller is one of the best Les Mills instructors I've experienced for these classes. Seven years, 4 states, multiple instructors - Ciera is very good. I recommend any of the EOS gyms for anyone looking for a gym to join. read more

Maintenance at this location is almost non existent. Today was the last straw! In the middle of a body pump class I was dripped on by a leaky ceiling! Enough is enough! 4-5 treadmills are consistently broken at a time. The class sign-in kiosk has been broken for at least 6 months. There is a constant drip from the ceiling directly in the walking path with NO wet floor signs. How has no one slipped and sued you yet?! The benches in the locker room have the same butt smudges week after week without being wiped down. This gym is a health and safety hazard due to the lack of maintenance. This was my first gym membership and I was afraid of struggling but the guy who signed me up named Jake really helped I guess kinda hype me up a bit and trainer I got Caleb really helped me learn about nutrition which was a big struggle and just structuring a workout plan and everything helped me reach how far I've gotten.
