I found F2 a couple of months ago on Yelp and went in for a diagnostic on my car. The staff was professional, took me into the bay area and showed me what they found under my raised car. The most immediate need was a repair to my cracked gas tank. Very proactive in ordering the part prior to my repair date to ensure I would not need to leave my car overnight. I have a couple other maintenance items and wouldn't think of going any place else. Luchi and Fernando are professionals and provide great customer service. I get disgusted when people love to trash a business because your expecting to pay prices to repair a Honda but driving a BMW!! REALLY????? Fernando is the only person I have ever trusted my babies with( X6 & 650 Gran Coupe)!!! I was given a rough estimate at time of check in(early am), once he was able to fully diagnose my vehicle(noontime), I received a follow up phone call explaining any additional work/services I needed. But what sold me was, being a female, he explained what was in dire need of being done, and what I could wait to do (how many miles I had until I would need it!!). The cherry on top...my car had been run thru Bubbles Carwash before I picked it too!!! Cmon who takes that extra time to do that now days!!! I've been taking my sl63 to F2 motorwerks for over a year now and love how well they take care of my baby. Alex is amazing and always keeps me up to date with what is going on with my car. He's very honest and doesn't try to up sell you on parts/repairs you don't need. A lot of mechanic shops take advantage of women due to their lack of knowledge of Cars and repair, this is definitely not F2. F2 always puts me in a loaner car if the repair takes longer then a day. They pretty much are a one stop shop. I take my car there for everything including paint, bumper repair, oil changes, tint, brakes, etc. The repair bills won't break the bank either, maybe because they only fix what is needed and not up sale. What a great place for for your German auto, even Porsche! I had heard some great things about Alex and the team, but the far surpassed that my first trip this week. When I called for an appointment, they said they could check everything out and get my oil done the same day - while I have been through this with other Porsche service places who sometimes run over, Alex delivered. They also checked the brakes, all fluids and the alignment - made some service recommendations, but didn't pressure anything. I've bought my Porsche 997 here several times for alignment and have been extremely happy with their quality of work. They always get the alignment perfect and their attention to detail is top notch. My car was involved in an accident. The body shop took the car elsewhere for an alignment. I was not happy with the results. Yes it was within factory specifications but the alignment was sloppy. I had different camber values left and right. I was concerned that something was still bent. I insisted they take it to F2. They could not get it to align perfectly and discovered that the centre subframe was bent and needed replacing. Once this was replaced the alignment was perfect. read more

We have been taking our cars to f2 since 2002. Previously 1999 Audi A6, 2002 BMW Z4 Roadster and 2006 BMW X5. Currently with 2013 C63 Mercedes AMG, 2012 Mercedes C250 and a 2006 BMW M Roadster. Service has been first-class for all cars, for all issues. Great communication and updates throughout day. Well priced, great relationship with foreign part suppliers and appropriate management of extended warranty providers. Mechanics are long-termers and BMW/Euro-trained. Always limits the service to what is needed, and completes jobs quickly. I've experienced Momentum BMW and Mercedes Benz Sugarland, f2 easily surpasses in terms of outcome, personal relationship and PRICE (I don't need to be paying for a hotel lobby, soda bar and personal concierge "experience"). I've referred a couple of friends and co-workers to f2, all have had positive experiences with older model BMW's and Porsches. I took my 03 Mercedes to this place because of a CEL. They said that they would charge 120 for a diagnostic to find the root cause. So I dropped my car in the morning and they called me in the afternoon( pretty quick for running a detailed diagnostic !!!) and they gave me an estimate in writing which quotes "Start with MAF sensor and then check the problem". For this trial they quoted a whopping 800 dollars. I was not convinced with their diagnosis or their experience. So far these guys have been lucky with "swap and dap" repairs where they do a quick check and replace the parts, especially with newer model cars.That was the prime reason for their top rated reviews where some of the users have compared their services with dealers I took my car elsewhere and got it fixed eventually (The rootcause was fuel injector sensor problem). The one star is for their pick and drop service but I guess 120 still doesn't justify it. read more

Wish I would have written this review a couple of months ago when I first used them so I could write another one. First experience - my husbands BMW would gradually shut down while driving. Took it to the dealership and we purchased an $800 battery. It was good for a bit, but then started doing it again. When taking the car to BMW, it usually takes at least a day before you get a diagnosis then a few more for repairs. I decided to try F2 after seeing it for years in back of Hungry's. I'm so pleased I took this chance. When I told him the problem, he suspected the alternator. Called me within the hour to confirm and the car was repaired later that afternoon. Amazing service. My second experience happened today. Took my Mercedes in for a coolant leak. They confirmed within the hour the problem. I then realized it was under warranty and decided to take it to the dealer. They didn't charge me and also recommended a different dealership for me to take my car for repair because they knew someone who worked there and would take care of me. Wow! read more

I've only taken my car to Fernando, and as they say, "first impressions are last impressions." I now know that I will never again trust my car with anyone else, not even BMW. Fernando was very professional, courteous, honest and very straight-forward with the work my car needed--and he was able to complete it in a day...much earlier than expected. Had it taken my 328i to BMW, it would've cost double the amount and would have probably spent several days there, ultimately inconveniencing me. His staff is also exceptionally kind and will go out of their way to provide the best customer service possible. Further, his work is guaranteed, and he only used genuine BMW parts on my car. Fernando has promised to answer any questions or concerns one may have in the future regarding the repair. Needless to say, I will forever be giving my car the service and attention it requires at F2. Don't care to take it to the dealer where they'll not only recommend work my car doesn't need, but also try to get me to pay in the form of a kidney and throw in a keychain. NOTE: The owners response to my post was that he followed the manufacture recommended procedures. When your car requires service do you expect the car to be repaired or are you satisfied when the problem remains and the repair shop defense is that they followed a procedure. The owner never answered my specific charges. I paid him the amount he charged. He failed to repair my vehicle on three different occasions. Of course I refused him a fourth opportunity. The previous three resulted in additional payments while I continued to have the same problem. He may have correctly followed the OEM procedure for a particular problem but since it didn't correct my problem, I can only conclude he misdiagnose the problem. So My recourse should be to complain to Mercedes Benz and not to the person Who accepted payment to repair the problem? I don't think so! read more

I recently had my 325i serviced here after reading some positive comments on other local forums and had a pretty good experience. F2 seems like a performance shop but with a mom n pop feel.. literally, the owner and his dad run the shop and their both car enthusiasts. The shop looked really clean and organized and the mechanics seemed nice. Fernando was straight forward with what services he was going to perform and even pointed out a few minor noises that my car was making that I would have never noticed. Im not quite sure what the previous one star reviewer was talking about but he did say he never discussed pricing which I think is ridiculous when dealing with car service so I didn't pay much attention to it. I did a little research and there is quite a bit of savings compared to the local BMW dealers and the fact that your dealing with the same person everytime instead of a random service advisor is a huge plus for me. read more

My fiance and I took his 2003 BMW M5 in to get checked out after a mishap at the neighboring carwash (they stripped the gears on the side view mirror!). Alex was extremely kind and courteous, waiting until aftef 5pm for us to drop the car off and explain the issues. They did an extremely detailed and thorough check of the car in addition to addressing th issues we had. He called within 24 hours with a detailed list of what needed to be fixed, including issues we weren't aware of. He explained clearly what needed to be fixed, what could wait, specific costs for each piece of work, and options for fixing and replacing items. Once we decided, he had the work done in exactly the time quoted, and called daily with updates. All of the work done was clearly detailed in the invoice, and when we came to pick the car up, he went through each item and made sure we understood what had been done and the costs. There were no hidden charges or surprises. The service here is impeccable, both on a personal and mechanical level. We will not take the M5 anywhere else, ever, and we have recommended this shop to several friends. This is the best BMW shop in South Texas. Don't take your baby anywhere else. I can not say enough good things about Motorwerks. Courteous, friendly, helpful and professional doesn't seem to cover all the good things I feel about this group. I am a single woman, and visiting any car repair service department has been on my list of least favorite things to do. I was referred to Motorwerks by a friend, (BMW employee) and I will say the best referral I have ever gotten. I have stopped by three times, twice for advice and once for a flat tire. Fernando could not have been more helpful, explaining my problem and showing me exactly what the problem is. When I asked the charge he said, "no charge, just come back if we can help again." I had been a loyal customer of Fernando's at F2 Motorwerks for years until I went by his business to pick up my Mercedes on three different occasions and it wasn't at the shop. He was using my car for personal use! When I stopped by unexpectedly, his sister said my car was being washed so I waited for over an hour and when he drove up, he & his mistress got out together with left overs from having lunch in my car--he was shocked to see me there! More importantly, the items needing repair were not even completed! He & his family-owned business are crooks as mentioned on other reviews outside this forum. It's so disappointing that he treated a loyal returning customer with such little respect!! I will never ever go back again & advise you not to do the same. read more
