I get disgusted when people love to trash a business because your expecting to pay prices to repair a Honda but driving a BMW!! REALLY????? Fernando is the only person I have ever trusted my babies with( X6 & 650 Gran Coupe)!!! I was given a rough estimate at time of check in(early am), once he was able to fully diagnose my vehicle(noontime), I received a follow up phone call explaining any additional work/services I needed. But what sold me was, being a female, he explained what was in dire need of being done, and what I could wait to do (how many miles I had until I would need it!!). The cherry on top...my car had been run thru Bubbles Carwash before I picked it too!!! Cmon who takes that extra time to do that now days!!! I've recommended all my family and friends to this shop, whether they drive BMW/Benz or not!! Not only is he an honest man, the shop is impeccable. Cleanest shop ever seen. I'm picky about what goes into my baby, he uses all original BMW/Benz parts. I say you give this shop a chance and form your own opinion, don't knock it because of one person living A CAVIAR & CHAMPAGNE LIFESTYLE ON COCA COLA BUDGET. Just saying!!!!!!!!

NO NO NO! DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Oscar made my appointment for 4:30 one afternoon. He showed up at…read more6pm. Got upset that my garage didn't have adequate lighting and he would have to use his own portable lights. He diagnosed my coolant was leaking and my thermostat and thermostat housing had to be replaced and coolant added. He let me know he doesn't like to talk while working so I said no problem. During the work he said something and I answered. He was then RUDE and said he didn't want to talk. I informed him I was just answering his remark. I paid him $350 for the work done. Even though he had been rude, I was considering using him again. Then, my car, 5 weeks later, started exhibiting the same symptoms as before he worked on it. I contacted Oscar, we made an appointment for the next day. No call no show. I then took the car to a qualified auto repair center and will now be paying over $600 to replace the thermostat, replace the thermostat housing that he cracked and add more coolant. I would give negative stars if I could! DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!

He never showed up and didn't have the courtesy to communicate that he would not be able to make it or to reschedule. I received a text from him today stating I am someone who apparently has money yet cries over the amount paid for parts. He's also threatening to sue me, which is VERY INTERESTING because he'll have to explain why in his response to my original review he states weather didn't allow him to work outside (we had clear skies in Houston both Saturday and Sunday) however, per his text messages, he couldn't make it to me due to being busy working on other cars. Originally, per his communication to me Saturday 1/17, the job was supposed to be done that Saturday since he received my parts in the mail Friday night, 1/16. I called him twice Saturday morning to discuss logistics but he didn't answer. I sent a text asking him to call me back and he never did. Instead, he sent me text stating he is unsure of the time but that he will be able to come to my home Saturday afternoon to do the job. Later, he text me that he would not be able to make it, but that he could come to my home the following day, 1/18, to do the job. I called him immediately upon receiving this text and again, he did not answer my calls. Sunday morning I reached out to him via text asking when he would come fix my vehicle. He said he would be at my home some time after 2pm. He never came nor did he advise that he would not be able to come. I text him Monday morning, 1/19, asking what happened. A few hours went by and no response. At this point I am no longer receiving any communication. I believed I was not going to hear back so I posted a review stating he's a thief. I finally heard back from him via text within an hour after posting my original review, shocking. He said he's for sure coming this time. Again, shocking. He also asked me to remove my review... considering he still had parts I paid for and that belonged to me in his possession. He delivered my parts to me that Monday evening. I no longer wanted him to perform the job so I immediately asked him to leave. He obviously doesn't understand professionalism nor the value of a man's word. He thinks this is about money. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I had been…read morewithout AC on my truck for an entire summer and I wasn't about to do it again so I bit the bullet took my truck in. First off, I had a quote from another shop that diagnosed my AC issue and asked Ashford Memorial if they could beat the price and they said yes. Well, it ended up being almost $1200. ( the quote was just over $1000) so they didnt beat it but anyway. My AC was blowing again so I was happy. I must point out that it has never worked as good as it did before it went in but it does blow well and cools for the most part. Within the first week of getting my truck back comes all of the weird stuff. My hazards would come on randomly while driving. When I turn my right signal on, the left one would come on instead or the hazards would come on instead. Then different dash lights would come on randomly and turn off. Me being a worry wart, I would check fluids, when the lights would come on and nothing low. I got an oil change even though it wasnt time and it still kept happening. Then I noticed that my hazards button appeared to be stuck down... so I saw that the steering wheel cover was wedged against it holding it down so it couldnt move so I smaked the cover just enough to shift it to where the button was free. That ended the hazards and turn signal issues but not the icon lights in my dash. So I delt with it a few more months and then it was time for my inspection/registration. I take it to my normal place and they say their computers cannot connect. I was so upset. They said I should go to a dealership and have them try. Well after trying 4 dealerships that couldnt help me because supposedly my truck is a 2006 and their computers only worked on vehiles as old as the lot has been open. Atleast that is what I was told. Then the 5th one that had been open more than 2 decades said they were backed up 4 weeks due to all the flooded vehicles and couldnt get me in. By then my inspection would be past due. I finally got a recommendation from a friend about a shop they had gotten really good service from so I tried them. Long story short, I ended up having to replace my entire computer because Ashford Memorial had to open my dash and disconnect my computer to fix my AC and then didnt put it back correctly and it was completely fried! So 3 weeks and $3000 later I have my truck back with a new computer, AC that works at like 75%, but it passed inspection and runs great so I guess it could be worse. I do want to point out that I didnt contact Ashford Memorial to ask them about my issues once it was diagnosed by the shop I used even though they asked me if I wanted to try that before they got started working on it. I just didnt want Ashford Memorial to touch my truck again once I was told that they destroyed my trucks computer. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 star is because my AC does work.

I brought my car in for a repair and they quoted me $15,000, claiming the issue was "unrepairable" for anything less. They then tried to pressure me into selling them my vehicle (which has a B58 engine and is worth over $20k) for a measly $1,500. They were obviously trying to scare me into handing over a valuable car for pennies. I towed the car to a different mechanic who was honest and competent. He fixed the entire issue for less than $500. This shop isn't just expensive; they are dishonest predators looking to scam people who don't know better. If they give you a massive quote and offer to buy your car. This shop is incredibly dishonest. I brought my car in for what turned out to be a standard repair, but they tried to convince me the engine was totally destroyed. They claimed the car was "unfixable" and aggressively tried to pressure me into selling it to them for scrap value right then and there. It was all a lie. I took it to another mechanic who fixed it easily. They realized I had a valuable car (B58 platform) and tried to trick me into handing it over by lying about the condition of the engine. If I hadn't gotten a second opinion, I would have been scammed out of my vehicle. Do not trust a word they say--they are predators, not mechanics. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GOING HERE OR CALL OTHER AUTO SHOPS IN THE AREA ESPECIALLY DURING HOLIDAYS!
