Im short: The most efficient HIIT workout In the game right now!…read more I love working out and im always looking for new challenges that push me harder. I also have undiagnosed ADD, so I've tried every workout concept imaginable (F45, CrossFit, orange theory, PIT fitness, immersion fitness, boot camps and the list goes on). BodyTek is the only one who keeps me gaining and guessing what's next! Class design: 45 mins to an hour with the particular class being either a total body workout or weights Wednesday (upper body or lower body). The total body workout will be a mix of upper and lower body stations with cardio and HIIT peppered in the stations. You have a certain time period to complete each workout in the station before moving to the next. I love this part of the concept because it makes me feel productive in moving towards the last station. The workouts are designed to burn fat, gain endurance, build strength and gain music. The amount of workouts they cram into an hour is unreal but the results are very real! I am a music aficionado and if boutique gym does not have good music they will never see my face again. This is nowhere near the case with bodytek. The music is dope every class and it motivates me to work harder. They even have speciality classes sometimes like Noche Latina ( all Latin music blazing while burning out your legs) and a post Christmas workout to burn my 5,000 calories consumed the day prior. The facility itself is like a family. The trainers are all amazing and are always making sure everyone has proper form so no Injuries occur. My favorite trainers are Vida, Francisco, and Santiago. All of them being such high energy to the class and make your butt kicking enjoyable! If you are looking to develop a new healthy habit in the new year give Bodytek a try. I promise no other concept will compete with your results from this facility!

In short: HIIT style workout ideal for those who like variety…read more Grit60 (formerly Bodytek) is exactly what the name implies. You need grit to get through the 60 minutes of challenging workouts that are curated and different every day. It is a mix of HIIT and weight training exercises that are dispersed through various stations. For example, today there were 5 stations with 5 different workouts within each station. There is a timer, let's say 30 seconds per workout, and a longer timer in between stations so you have time to clean your own station and make your way to the next. They promote cleanliness by providing cleaning bottles and towels to wipe down the weights you use and mats. The coaches are constantly walking around making sure everyone has correct form and upping your weights if they feel Like you can handle more ( I'm looking at you Coach Vida). Coach Vida is the head coach and for a good reason. His classes are amazing, his energy is infectious, and he is beyond motivating! Oh did I mention they have excellent music? Try them out you are looking for a better challenge and more variety! You won't be disappointed.

So grateful to have found this gem!…read more Great workouts led by inspirational coaches, accompanied by great music, every single day! Classes start as early as 5am, and there are classes on the weekends as well. All classes are designed for all fitness levels! If you are in Parkland and its surrounding area, give this place a visit! I'd be remiss not to mention the service members who literally know everyone by name and are very welcoming. You come as strangers, become friends, and leave as a family!

My son recently became interested in wrestling, and this gym offers the MOCCA program for both boys…read moreand girls of all ages. Practices are held three evenings a week, and you can either pay per session or purchase a monthly pass. For first-time participants, they provide wrestling shoes, but if your child plans to continue, it's definitely worth investing in a pair. The facility itself is impressive. The building is enormous, with three full-size wrestling mat areas, a raised wrestling ring, a large fitness area with equipment, locker rooms, and an uncomfortable seating area for parents. They also have a water bottle refill station, which is much appreciated because the kids work incredibly hard. My son was absolutely exhausted by the end of practice. The class structure, however, could be improved for beginners. Everyone starts together with about 15 minutes of warm-ups, followed by a demonstration of a wrestling move. After that, the younger wrestlers move to another mat and pair off to practice. One challenge for first-time families is that it's difficult to identify who the instructors are. Having coaches wear identifiable shirts would make it much easier to know who to approach with questions. I also felt that the techniques introduced were fairly advanced for newcomers. It would be helpful to start with simpler fundamental moves while spending more time explaining the purpose and mechanics behind each technique. Every 10 minutes or so, a whistle brings everyone back together for another demonstration before they rotate back to practicing. This cycle repeats several times before open wrestling begins. For beginners, I would probably recommend sitting out the open wrestling portion. Wrestlers are paired rather freely, and it can be overwhelming for someone attending their first few practices. Overall, I think the program would benefit from offering a dedicated beginner class before introducing new wrestlers into the regular sessions. That said, one thing that really stood out was how welcoming and encouraging the older participants were. Many of them took the time to help the younger wrestlers learn the techniques, creating a supportive atmosphere that made the experience a positive one despite the steep learning curve.
