The trainers Kim and Pat are amazing and truly so helpful and they are always around the floor when you need them. It has become a huge family and everyone gets along so well. After a few months of searching and trials that went no where, I found Burn Boot Camp. I was hesitant because I didn't know what to expect and I was really looking for a place that was like the gym I went to previously. When I first walked in, the receptionist, Heather, greeted me right away with a smile, she made me feel welcome. She introduced me to all the trainers and took me on a brief tour. I really felt like I was about to become a part of something special and I wasn't just going to be a number. One of the trainers, Travis, right away shook my hand and asked what my experience was and if I had any injuries. I had just come back from a shoulder injury and he knew exactly how to provide proper modifications and even walked me through movements before my first class. As class progressed he CONSTANTLY motivated all of us, and he would check in with me to see how my shoulder was doing. After the first class I signed up. Everyone of the trainers treats you like you are a person with Individual goals. Lauren, Claire, Travis and Kim will work with you and keep you going the entire class. They really take the time to get to know each person. By my first week all the trainers knew my name, about my shoulder injury and knew exactly what I needed. The other members are great! Everyone gets to know your name and we all push each other through some pretty intense workouts . If you are looking to become a member of a gym that will push you to your limits and not just a number to fill a sales quota, do not hesitate and give Burn a try. You won't regret it!

Overall, my family has been pretty happy with the Y. The workout facilities, locker rooms and…read morebathrooms are much cleaner than what I've experienced at places like LA fitness. I love that they have lockers with locks in the main workout area (you do need to bring your own lock for the locker room), although currently many of the lockers are broken so I hope they repair them soon. I've taken quite a few good classes here although the classes do tend to get crowded so you really have to show up early to make sure you have a spot. We also enjoy swimming both in the lap pool and with our son in the zero depth pool. The one frustration I have had is with the adventure room. This is a great indoor playground which my toddler son loves. However, unlike the rest of the facilities, it is covered in dust. I worry that if they aren't maintaining this area, not only is it covered in germs from the children, but they may not be regularly inspecting the safety of the structure. Overall, it seems like a safe playspace but anytime you have kids climbing at such high heights, a piece of broken equipment could become a serious danger. I always watch my son closely and check out the equipment myself while he's playing. The other problem with this area is that although there is an app with schedules, it is frequently incorrect when it comes to the adventure room. The open hours for children under five are very limited and as you can imagine, it is very difficult to get a toddler out of the house, bring him to his favorite place only to have to tell him that it is unexpectedly closed. I have brought up this issue to the staff multiple times, but it still has not been addressed. In general, I would say the Y is worth it, especially if you were planning on utilizing all of the facilities

My 1-year-old daughter, who is potty trained, needed help washing her hands and asked a staff member for assistance, but she was ignored. She then asked her 11-year-old sister for help. When my older daughter tried to help her in the bathroom, staff stopped her and told her she could not go in with her sister, and they spoke to her in a very harsh and upsetting way. I understand that there may be bathroom policies, but the way the situation was handled and the way my daughter was spoken to was completely unacceptable. We will not be returning to this YMCA and will be staying with our local YMCA instead.

Not much of a difference but I had to make them fix it and I'm not even sure how that happened as their plans are $20, $30 & $40 a month. Trying to cancel your membership? A fkn nightmare. I spoke to the front desk in April 2026 and they told me my membership expired on 5/27/26 (12 mo contract was up) and would not renew. They gave me an email and number for cancellations and told me to just email to confirm it ended 5/27. I email early May and they said they have a 30 day cancellation policy and I will now be charged an extra month which directly contradicts what the front desk employees told me. To make matters worse, I see a $50 charge on my account, separate from the $30 monthly fee. I assume it was a cancellation fee but there was no mention of any cancellation fee being charged and there shouldn't be one since my contract was up. They do not care about you and only care about getting as much money out of you as possible. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.
