However, I've been to other F45 locations where they provide stretching afterwards, which is critical when you're doing high intensity workouts. Here, the classes are so tight that the stretching is entirely skipped and up to user's choice. To me, that's a critical deficiency, and it always worries me when fitness classes do not at least provide 3 minutes of instructor-based stretching afterwards. That's especially disappointing here where there really isn't any room to stretch on your own once the next class starts (which is usually immediately after yours ends). I'd strongly encourage the facility to change that practice for the safety of its clients.

The circuit class had six stations so after every change, I forgot what the exercise was but she was there to quickly run through it with me. She was also very encouraging. At the end of the class she mentioned of a competition day that was open to everyone. The space has nothing but a water fountain, lockers, bathroom, sanitizer and cleaning wipes for the machine, no towels, shower or amenities. I enjoy Metcon (5min exercise - 1min rest) and the variety of it all. The class went quickly and id definitely do the class again. It was my first time working out in a while and i could keep up. Would give it 5 stars but lack of amenities is a big bummer.

Liam knows my medical conditions, which he works with, and weak areas, which he helps me to strengthen. He suggests exercises I feel comfortable doing on my own in the gym, or at home. Liam can point out details of how a position or motion should feel, so I know when I'm doing it correctly. I have the attention span of a flea, yet he designs routines that are challenging and entertaining. He checks in often during a session, yet he can somehow inspire one or two more reps out of me than I believe possible. Befitnyc has a variety of classes which I've just begun to check out, from barre-pilates and tai chi to cross- and interval-training to zumba, all included in the very reasonable cost of membership. i joined because it's close to my apartment. on my very…read morefirst day i was discriminated against by another gym member due to a disability and having a service animal. upon signing up, i was told this would happily be accommodated. this gym allows other gym members to harass people with service animals and they did nothing to fix the situation. they just kept telling me to exile myself in another room instead of use the machine i wanted to use. they allow toxic white male members to boss around female members who aren't even doing anything wrong. i will be filing a lawsuit for disability discrimination and will not be coming back here. this was a traumatic experience that i never hope to go through ever again.
