The virtual trainers, offer 3 skill level options, you are required to spend extra on the mat and towel, to maintain safe footing in saunas, Cubbies at each sauna, keeps the 'no shoes' organized and orderly, Hotworx is Clean, cleaning wipes available at each corner of the gym. Specifically, they have a 24 seven model which I don't think I have seen at any other YMCA that I have been a member of. It allows members to enter and exit the workout facilities with a digital code. This location also has steam rooms and sauna in the men's locker room, which is truly a blessing. Overall, this is a very sufficient club with a lot of variety in terms of workout machines and weights. They have an extensive aerobic room with plenty of exercise balls mats and stretch bands. They have an indoor basketball gym, but no indoor pool. And the price is definitely a value!

I attended the 8:30am class all 3 days, and immediately felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I travel a lot and drop into many gyms and I will say they have a strong sense of community (which not all gyms do). All of the members were very friendly and helpful with giving me tips on things to do and places to try while I was visiting. I had Rashad as my coach all 3 days, he was very personable and an awesome coach! As a CFL1 coach who has been doing CrossFit for 7 years, I even learned a thing or two from his coaching, and new drills for handstand walks that I'd never seen before. From beginner to advanced CrossFitters, Rashad really made sure the athletes were choosing appropriate weights and using proper form. I would absolutely recommend this gym if you are in the Pooler Savannah area! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back!

The manager told me it's being taken care of, but after a whole month, I was still charged the regular price. Now I'm moving and cancellation seems tricky. Apparently, you can only sign up at the studio but you CANNOT cancel your membership at the studio in person. They won't give you the cancellation form; instead you have to email the studio manager asking for the paperwork. I did, but so far no reply to my email. I'll give it 48 hours to see if she will ever reply to me. It's a bit aggravating. If you can join in and complete the paperwork in person, what on earth is preventing them from allowing you to cancel the membership and complete the paperwork in person? None other than making it difficult for you to cancel. Overall, it's a solid place. I love the classes and really like the coaches, especially coach Ashley.

There are four different areas to workout in, 4++ stationary bikes, 3 ellipticals, 2 stair masters, 4+ treadmills, free weights, smith machines, punching bag, men's and women's locker rooms with showers, 2 tanning beds, and more. The people who go here are friendly and it's a lil community, relatively no drama. It's clean, for the most part people rerack their weights, with the exception of those lazy few. I'm rarely there when the staff are, but they seem nice when I've interacted with them. I love that our trainer who also belongs to this gym can train us here too! As a female, I've had no issues, iykyk. I really enjoy it here and have no complaints.

I was sold the day I was able to receive my free stretch and have been a member for months now…read more Weather it is the pleasantly welcoming good morning and smiles from the therapists, the music being played, or the stretch itself, you never have a bad experience. The best part is that you choose what gets stretched for your session. I'm a very active guy that is on his legs a lot, so I usually opt to jave my hips, knees and Lowe back stretched. They have three different types of plans to choose from: 2 times a week, 3 times a week or 4 times a week. I do well with my 2 a week, plus they are military friendly with offering a discount for those monthly services. My go to therapists are India and Keylana. Annette is fantastic as well. If you want to improve you body movement and become more limber and flexible, The Stretch Zone is a great compliment alongside a healthy lifestyle. Go visit them and see the difference!

I was missing the feel of having a home studio, especially coming from a big city where I was mainly doing Pilates. I had never done barre in my life but after a few classes, I committed to an unlimited membership and it has been the best decision! The instructors are all so lovely and knowledgeable about what they teach. They go out of their way to encourage you and correct you so you're getting the best workout in. I genuinely enjoy my 6 am mornings with them, which is saying something bc I have NEVER in my life gotten up that early to do anything. Highly recommend this studio and am so appreciative of how above and beyond they do here.

They go out of their way to learn people's names and make you feel at home when you walk in the door. I like the open vibe and there's no judgement--everyone is here to have fun and workout! I'm pretty out of shape but I never felt self-conscious about my lack of balance or ability to hold a plank. The classes will whip you into shape! I went consistently for a month and noticed results very quickly. If you need to get into shape for a wedding or big event, go to barre classes everyday and you will notice that your muscles are toned. It's pretty remarkable how hard a workout can be using nothing but your body weight, and how great you feel after. The only reason why I stopped going here was even though I really enjoyed going to barre classes, I did want to try something new after months of nothing but barre. It's pretty pricey ($200 for unlimited monthly classes, they do run specials sometimes though) compared to the YMCA ($10 a month for a gym AND a wide variety of classes, not just barre). I like to mix-up my workouts. I know the business model is a nothing-but-barre studio, but variety is the spice of life!
