As someone who rarely writes reviews, I felt this one was necessary. I've been a coach/trainer for the past five years, and I have never been so disappointed in a new drop-in class. I had never been to an F45 before, but I decided to meet my friend for a short workout on Saturday morning (5/10/25). I walked into a quiet studio where two trainers were present--one female, named Shannon, and a male. Neither introduced themselves or welcomed me. The female trainer was on her phone, and the male was walking around. I had to initiate the conversation, saying something like, "Hi, I haven't been to this gym before." The female glanced up and said, "Ha, you came to the one-hour workout--you're going to die," then pointed to the lockers and told me where to put my things. The male said absolutely nothing. I repeated myself: "Okay, well, I haven't been here before--do I need to sign something?" She looked up from her phone again and asked, "Oh, so you want to drop in?" I said, "I think so," and she pointed to a QR code on the wall and said, "You can sign up through here." As a coach, I have never felt so unimpressed or unwelcome. After signing up, no one asked if I had any workout experience, prior injuries, or questions. No direction was given about where to warm up or how the class worked. Nothing. I was honestly in shock. Thankfully, my friend was there to guide me. (Imagine if I had come alone!) While I could figure things out due to my experience, the lack of attention was unacceptable--especially considering the $219/month unlimited membership price. Frankly, it felt fraudulent. During the class, the coaches were flat, disengaged, and uninterested. No motivation, no energy--just generic lines like "Push harder... come on... 10 seconds left." It felt like a conveyor belt workout. The session itself was okay--I definitely didn't "die" as the coach joked. After the class, neither coach checked in with me. No "good job," no "thanks for coming," no invitation to return--absolutely nothing. I walked out of the gym feeling upset and disgusted by how I was treated and how poorly this F45 location operates. I know not all F45 gyms are like this. Shout out to Coach MoMo down in Burlingame, who creates an enjoyable and welcoming experience. But the F45 in Santa Rosa off Industrial Ave is, in my opinion, a huge waste of money. I would never recommend this location--or at least the 6:45 AM class. Also, $30 for a drop-in session? For that level of service? No thanks. It's unfortunate that I felt compelled to write this review, but people deserve to know they can spend far less elsewhere and receive far more in terms of physical and emotional wellbeing. read more

The gym charged me $199 and wouldn't answer my multiple calls/messages/emails! WTF? My 2 weeks trial ended, and without any heads up I was charged $199 for membership. Was not my intention by the prior owner, Melissa, was very responsive and while she didn't return the money, she assured me I could use it for another month of membership. Again, not my intention but ok. Unfortunately, Melissa is no longer the owner and when I tried to use my credit I just couldn't get through to the gym! I called them a number of times, emailed and texted - nothing! Stay away from this place! read more

I was traveling to my husband's hockey tournament and was extremely happy I could pay for drop in classes. The trainers were great. I liked how everything was on the monitors, warm ups, examples of workouts. I also liked the stretch after the classes. Once you get the hang of the stations/TVs it was easy to know where to go. I was lucky to be with some friendly regulars that helped me around the room. Great work out. It was a bit pricey per class, normally I like to buy packages but none were offered, just a drop in of $35.00 a class. The Windsor location was $30, I did one class there when I stayed at a hotel near my first night. The Santa Rosa location was more convenient to my Airbnb. I got 4 workouts at this location. I'll definitely go to the same studio for next year's trip. Crossing fingers they offer class packages to vacationers next year. read more

I've been going to F45 since living in San Diego (about 5 years now) Been a huge believer of F45. I have been to other locations which wasn't the vibe I was hoping to get. I gave it a last try at this location and I am once again a firm believer. One of the thing that draws me to this facility are the genuine people and trainer. Chris and Melissa are amazing. Melissa & Chris and their entire Team of Trainers make you feel immediately welcome! They greet you before every class and make you feel like you are the most important person there. They started this business and then the pandemic hit and closed them down. They greeted all of us at the start of ever class with their positive energy and smiles in the thick of it as they reopened. I have been working-out in Sonoma County for 20 years in amazing gyms. With the pandemic we all made changes to adjust to our new normal. F45 studio is amazing. If you are looking for a new year's resolution, and to be fit and active, this is for you! F45 gives you a varieties of different workouts to boost Cardio, Strength, Core, pretty much anything you need to get you in shape. I love how these workouts are challenging and fun in a very safe environment. The instructor walks around watching and motivating everyone, correcting form, if necessary, and busting out some dance moves and lyrics on occasion hahaha. I never saw myself as a 5:00 AM workout type but I'll get out of bed at 4:30 AM to make it here. I'm looking forward to starting more mornings this way and getting stronger. ‍The studio offers the kind of experience that makes you want to get to your next workout ASAP. I've never been one for the gym scene. When the pandemic hit my house mate turned me on to this place and I was hooked immediately. I couldn't imagine not going everyday. As someone who has never been able to stick with any sort of fitness plan, F45 really is as "life changing" as their motto states. Melissa and Chris are both so encouraging, supportive, and fun...everything you could hope for in personal trainers and business owners. Monday/Wednesday/Fridays are cardio based, Tuesdays/Thursdays are strength and resistance based, with an awesome hybrid class on Saturdays. Each weekday class is only 45mins long (1hr long on Saturdays) so it's easy to squeeze in before or after work, but will still have you sweating and feeling stronger than before. With new classes daily, you don't get burnt out on doing the same thing all the time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to start or change up their fitness routine! read more

One of the best decisions I have made in recent years has been to join the F45 fitness studio. As soon as I stepped inside, I met Melissa and Christian I knew I was in the right place. They have gone above and beyond to make sure we're taken care of thru these hard times and having to workout outside. They bring out weights daily, they have now put up permanent tents to provide shelter from rain and even heaters for when it's cold. It's an amazing culture that they provide and the entire fit fam is amazing. Everyone is there to not only help but push you to get to your goals. I'm thankful to have found such an amazing place. I started my journey August 16th at 196lbs with 33% and as of November 16th I'm at 165lbs at 21% body fat and still going strong. Just come in and take one class and get hooked. Cream of the crop. If you're looking for a place to kick your ass and a group of people who are warm and inspiring, come come come! I've been an avid exerciser for the past 15 years. I've done all group boutique fitness studios and F45 has surpassed my needs. I'm done in an under an hour and have no idea what to expect. There's always something new to test your body. I am thankful I finally made the plunge and joined. No two classes are the same, the trainers really do train you and help even in a group format. I get my strength and cardio work outs in and don't have to figure it out on my own. Wow, where to start??!! F45 North Santa Rosa has been life changing for me since the beginning of COVID's pandemic. With Melissa's help and encouragement, I joined in March doing Zoom workouts from home with Coach Chris. Just a couple of days into the workouts, I knew this was something different. I was, and AM hooked!!! As soon as F45 North Santa Rosa (owners Melissa and Chris Jimenez - most down to earth people you will ever meet) could open its doors in June, they did! I walked into the studio in early June 2020 and have never looked back. It feels like home when you are there. Melissa and Chris are so welcoming and helpful, ensuring your needs are always met. Case in point: With Sonoma County still in the purple tier and winter around the corner, they immediately put up tents, lights and even heaters so that we can workout outside and take care of our physical and mental health during these very trying times. They continue to sacrifice and extend themselves for our gain at a time when most people are in self preservation. I could go on and on, but my last bought to share is that I gained the best fit fam at F45 North Santa Rosa I could ever ask for!!! I am in the best shape of my life at 45 years old and I owe it to the fit fam that holds me accountable and keeps pushing me to new heights! I was desperately looking for a place to work out once the Quarantine 15 was becoming my Quarantine 20. With the gyms and everything else being closed down around me, I desperately needed to find something to help release my stress and help me feel like myself again. I came across F-45 Training and it has been a game changer. Chris and Melissa are amazing! They have several morning classes and evening classes. As a mother of two I need something flexible.
