We used the Yelp waitlist option to get in line, the place was busy 6 ahead of us with larger groups included. We ended up getting seats at the bar. Greeted promptly by Dom, he's great, very friendly and took great care. However, we had some slight issues, the griddle or friers must be dirty there is a smell in the building and taste in my hash browns that was unpleasant. The AC also doesn't work well. Absolutely livid walking out of Brunch Snob right now. My husband, myself, and my 4yo and 6yo kid walked in and put our names on the wait list with a 20 min quote. Keeping an eye on our place in the wait, we finally saw a table open up. The family that checked in right before us had been seated and I knew we were next. The hostess grabbed the menus, walked right past us and sat the family that came in after us. When I asked him why we weren't seated, he said that the family he just sat was ahead of us. Forty minutes of observing our place in line... please do not lie to us. I have kids crying because they are hungry, an AC in the restaurant that just wasn't keeping up with this heat... we left because although we may have been next on the list, this experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. By far the best Monte Cristo I've ever had. I used to think Chompie's was the best, but this one is so much tastier than the one Chompie's makes. The extra fried batter on the outside is a little overdone, but you can crunch it off onto your plate. At the same time, they have the worst hash browns I've ever had. Not soft, not crunchy. It was a bit loud inside, so my friend and I chose to sit outside, which ended up being much more enjoyable and comfortable for conversation. One thing that was a bit of a bummer was the waitlist process. I joined the waitlist on Yelp and wasn't aware that I still needed to check in once I arrived. On top of that, the Yelp queue and the restaurant's actual queue seemed inconsistent, and the "busy time" listed on Yelp wasn't accurate. The wait ended up being longer than expected. That part was a little frustrating. That said, once we were seated, things moved quickly. Food and drinks came out fast, and the service was solid . Our server was attentive and checked in on us regularly. I really enjoyed their coffee, and the portion sizes are decent. I also think the food is fairly priced for what you get. I found brunch snob because I needed a spot that allowed dogs. I love the name of Brunch Snob and as soon as I saw the menu and all of the selections I was sold! There was short wait when we arrived despite seeing many tables but the guy inside said he would be right out and when he finally came out he said he hadn't forgotten about us. The patio is right in front and basically the restaurant is in a strip mall so if you are looking out you are seeing the parking lot, luckily the music was really good so that made me happy. My dog was really hot when we arrived and after we finally sat down and were waited on, I asked if she had a bowl of water for the dog, and she said yes, but what would you like? Ok, I want a Bellini -- after at least 5 or more minutes (it felt really long while my dog was panting up a storm) she finally brought a bowl out for him with water -- and put it on the table... ok she didn't want to bend over, that's fine... While we were waiting to order we saw them come out with a cinnamon roll the size of someone's head. We had to get that for sure -- originally my mom was going to get the "big ass" cinnamon roll French toast but we decided to split the actual cinnamon roll and she would get avocado toast. I got the "build your own omelet" with pepper jack, avocado and salsa with hash browns and sourdough toast. Mine was good -- no complaints, nothing amazing but good. My mom's "toast" however was not as advertised "Thick-cut 12 grain TOAST" -- first of all it was a piece of bread, maybe sourdough -- untoasted -- it was not 12 grain and therefore could it be considered avocado toast? We waited to report it to the waitress and finally after my mom had basically eaten the avocado because she was so hungry and they weren't anywhere to be seen --finally when we got her attention and showed her the soggy slice of bread she apologized but my mom was already done -- there was no offer to remove it from the bill. It is really too bad because this place is super cute, and I really wanted to like it, and it was actually quite expensive, IMO. read more

When I go to Phoenix, I often struggle with finding on street parking or walking from a parking garage in fancy shoes, but there is so much parking in this shared lot that you will not give parking a second thought. The decor is fun and puts a smile on your face as you read the back of chairs and the shirts of the servers. The reviews of the actual food were lukewarm, but you're there for the selfies in your athleisure-wear and okay if you are starving by the time you're fed because you are used to deprivation for the sake of appearances. Meanwhile, you walk into Brunch Snob and there's gray hairs bobbing and jelly-faced babies in high chairs and loud music and laughter and tiddies on the bathroom wallpaper. And you get interesting menu items without pretension. If you don't get that chicken fried bacon, why come? It's so good. I had some kind of dish with biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs and hash browns. It was good but a LOT. My husband had a Cobb salad. My daughter had a grilled egg and cheese and bacon sandwich. Again, grandma made this. There's nothing exotic. You will leave with a full warm belly. And not starving to figure yourself out, feeling inferior, which seems to be the point elsewhere. read more

We went on a Monday and they had plenty of staff to attend to everyone's needs promptly. We got the smoked brisket Bennie which was loaded with meat! Had a great experience at the Chandler location with friends so sis and I decided to try this one closer to home. Everything was just as delicious. We had Cajun shrimp and grits, crazy clucker, and breakfast for the kids... all were so delicious. I think this brunch spot has some of the BEST menu selections out there. Many places only have the basic breakfast items and the occasional Cobb salad, burger, chickens sando for lunch, but this place actually has a great variety of proteins and flavors, and most importantly, they prepare everything well! Well I came here based of Uelo reviews and was sorely disappointed. It wasn't that the place wasn't lively, or inviting. It was just poor execution by the kitchen staff. I ordered chicken fried steak with over medium eggs and sourdough toast. The only thing that arrived at the table remotely close to being warm was the steak. The eggs and hash browns and roast were all cold. I sent the eggs back and that came back warm and over easy. My wife's French toast sticks were burned and my grandsons cinnamon toast pancakes came out partially cooked and covered with glaze thick enough to be cut with a knife. It was pretty busy but I was able to use the Yelp Waitlist feature when I was on my way, so it lessened the time we had to wait. Mamas: they have a changing table in the women's restroom! Another nice new (for me) brunch spot in Phx! I came here on Monday with a friend to grab a bite and catch up. There was a 20min wait but we were able to sit at the bar immediately so we opted to do that. It's a very vibey spot with bright colors and very open/spacious layout. There is outdoor seating available too. I went with the salmon breakfast quesadilla and spicy potatoes while my friend got the eggs and corned beef hash. Our food came out fast and we enjoyed both of our dishes. The scrambled eggs and salmon and cheese were really tasty - and it was a good portion, I took half home for a late afternoon snack.
