We got the Zinger and Here Comes the Sun breakfast sandwiches, the potato sidekick, kale salad, and botanical drinks. I love that they have 2 caffeine free "tea" options! The eggs in the sandwiches were the perfect level of just slightly runny. And I don't know what magic bread they use but it never feels overly heavy. The potato sidekick is amazing! I would order that again to take home and serve with dinner. I love the kale salad and it never disappoints. Cool and sweet and getting your greens in is a win! I don't know how they do it, but these sandwiches have no flavor. The bread even tastes like nothing. Just flavorless pockets of goo. I really don't understand how they can taste like nothing, but it's like eating a warm void. The breakfast sandwiches don't come with sides so that was kind of a bummer as my brother got chips or a salad with his lunch order. The latte was very sweet, but I enjoyed the flavor. I love almond, and it comes through strong which was nice. Not a huge coffee flavor though, so maybe an extra shot of espresso will be the trick next time. The service was nice though. This is easily the best sandwich place in Glendale! I visited AZ for a few days and was hungry and looking to try out new places there. I stumbled upon Zookz Sandwiches on Yelp with overwhelmingly good reviews which I wanted to confirm for my self. The location is tucked on the side of a shopping center which can be a little confusing trying to find it but once you get there you'll see these huge doors which open into Zookz. There's quite a few seats within the location. The service here is done by going up to the front and ordering with one of the employees and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. I'm partial to choosing breakfast sandwiches and went for the Daybreak in Mexicali which has egg inside the oddly, but cool shaped sandwich. The flavors are really tasty and I just had to get another one for the road. I would definitely recommend trying Zookz Sandwiches if you're visiting or otherwise local and wanting to try something new. When I walked in, no customer was there except a customer walking out. I sat at a table to wait for a friend, the table was filthy. I started to wipe it down but then saw food all over the seat.
