I came here for short French tip nails, French tip toes, and an eyebrow wax and paid $147 total. I did not receive any extra pedicure services. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience. My eyebrows don't look properly waxed at all--there's no defined arch and still stray hairs left. Shortly after, my right eye started hurting when I blinked, became swollen, and I'm now breaking out with bumps around my eyebrows, which I've never experienced before. For my nails, I specifically requested pink French tips and showed a picture of exactly what I wanted, but I was given red instead. While it was being done, I asked if the color would turn pink and was reassured it would, but it stayed red. Usually I'm shown the powder beforehand to confirm the color, but that didn't happen here. Also, as soon as my nails were finished and I was still getting my toes done and hadn't even had my eyebrows done yet, I was repeatedly asked to pay. It felt rushed, like they were trying to get me out or finish early. Overall, very disappointing experience for the price. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly and I liked the vibe of it. (Great location, free drinks etc.) But I have to say this was one of the worst manicures of my life. I left with my cuticles bleeding, and there's dip nail coat all around my cuticles and the color is yellowing and there's a small piece of hair polished onto my nails. I strayed from my usual nail place because this one was open late which is wonderful, and the "service" was great but the SKILL and cost did not match unfortunately. However Kevin did a great pedicure and my toes look great so that is the one good thing out of it all. I will be posting pictures, I have to say that this place has so much potential but I believe they are still open because they UP CHARGE everything. If you want them to simply file your nails they charge an extra $5.00 (which when your getting dip powder, you have to file) I'm use to paying the charge when I get acrylic nails and there is something to actually file, but these were not and then the sloppiness that came with is just sad for such a beautiful salon in a great location. read more

Super disappointed with my visit to this nail shop. I went in on Saturday for a nextgen set + gel pedicure. The next Gen with tip ($50) set had an extra add on for tip (+$9.37) plus the white/French nail charge (+$5). The service was friendly however I had issues with both nails and pedi the next day. One of my thumb nails broke the very next day and the rest of my nextgen nails were lifting from the cuticle area by the second day of me having them on. The gel pedicure chipped off the next day as well. I went back in Wednesday to see if the nails could be repaired and brought in my receipt. They stated they could fix them all without an additional charge since I had brought in my paper receipt. Dora fixed my pedicure gel chip and I waited to have my next gen set fixed. The team member fixed my broken thumbnail and was ready to send me on my way until I asked about the rest of my nails that were coming off. He was going back and forth between my set and another customer and I could see that it was being "fixed" while rushing. I told him I could wait until he was finished with the other customer to make sure they were being done without a rush. He finished with the customer came back and filed down the nail but it was clear they were still lifting from the cuticle. I asked if they could be fixed and if not I would like to have them taken off as having them lifted can cause my nails to break plus my hair had been getting stuck in the lifted area. He then got up and took me to the register and partially refunded my tab from Saturday and was walking me out the store when I asked if the nails would be finished as he had only finished the broken nail and the rest were undone. I asked if they could at least be taken off and was told no but then another staff member came back with acetone. Unsure of what was going on I asked the 3 staff members present if they could tell me what was happening. He then just applied a clear coat and said they were done and ready to go. Before I left the salon my nails were sticking everywhere and he just applied more of the clear coat on top. I am attaching a photo of what they look like now with the awful texture from over coating. Overall a really bad experience. read more

I've been disappointed in the past of course, but not to the extent that I feel I actually have to write a review. I was happy to see that this place was open this late. I wanted to get my nails done, was running late, and I was relieved to see their hours of operation. For one, the place was messy. I sat in my chair to get a pedi and I placed my purse next to me, on a tray full of crumbs. I was content with my pedicure and the guy took his time. I then sat on the chair to get my full set. The lady immediately rushed into it, she was in a hurry (we still had at least 2 hours before they closed). I usually know what to expect, but this lady was skipping so many steps. At one point I questioned her process and she seemed to get offended and shook her head, understandably. She cut me a few times, was rough and sloppy. Anyway, I tried to trust the process lol. Needless to say, my nails are a JOKE. They look like kiddy press one from Dollar General. This is not what I asked for. Once she was done, she threw her tools right back inside her kit-I am just hoping she had intention on disinfecting. Total service was $115. I noticed they added fees for a couple of things, which was also new to see. These nails are 4 days old. read more

FAB nail bar is my go-to neighborhood nail salon. It's very clean and nicely decorated inside. I've been coming since they opened in summer 2017 for pedicures and/or Nex Gen dipping nails. There's a bunch of pedicure options! The more deluxe options come with all items nicely set on a platter before the nail tech puts these items in the pedicure tub. Very cute and picturesque! The service is great and I'm almost always immediately offered a drink when I'm waiting to start my service. Only down side that I almost always have to wait a bit when I come in as a walk in or even when I've had an appointment. Prices are in line with other salons in the neighborhood. They also have a happy hour special before 4pm during the week where you can get 20% off. I think the 20% off pricing is my ideal price point but it can sometimes be tough to get there before 4pm because I work during the day. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend looking to get a pedicure or dipping nails done. read more

Since moving back into Dallas I've been trying to find a new nail salon. This one is NOT IT. A couple of months ago I tried the salon and my nails were uneven and not filed straight. I didn't have time for them to correct it so I let it go. I again tried them a few days ago and the shape looked good this time. However, I'm not sure what it is they are using but the gel polish which is supposed to last started peeling within two days. The first photo is right after I had them done and the second photo is five days later. My middle finger started peeling within two days of having them done. That's two chances I've given this salon. Never again. If you're gonna spend $100+ on your nails go down the block to Onyx Nails. I absolutely don't recommend Fab Nails. read more

First visit. They sat me in a pedicure chair that didn't work and were reluctant to move me to one of the free chairs that did function. The nail tech tried to put my sandals on for me before my toenails were dry and I didn't notice until afterwards that she smudged my toenail polish pretty bad and smeared other nails. It was just an overall sloppy job. I'm posting pics of her work. There's even one nail that she painted only only 2/3 of. How does that happen? Went in because of the late hours of operation. Requested dip with matching color/gel pedi, was told they matched. They did not. I should have waited and gone to my usual spot. My daughter and I were there for about 4 hours. (My daughter only got a pedi because we knew it would take longer) Only one nail tech lady working hand nails. When it was my turn, she seemed to be rushing (which by the way, one of my best friends is a manicurist and once told me they're supposed to use NEW files/buffers for every new client for sanitation purposes) when I mentioned to the lady "aren't you supposed to use a new file??" she looked shocked and said yes this is a new one, I gave her a look and nodded my head, she knew she was lying, (we were watching her use the same USED utensils for the other clients and one was sitting next to us while we were doing our pedicures - we have a video recording if she tries to deny it) She ended up grabbing a new file...long story short, nails were very clumpy and she tried to fix them...the very next day the tip top of nails were chipped. At that point I was highly upset and went back, same lady "fixed" them, by the end of the week one of the tips came off. I would definitely not recommend this place. read more

He cut me several times, he didn't file down the dip properly so I have dip all over my cuticles. The shape is horrible, my nails are lumpy and up close they look a mess. Not great. Went for the first time to get dip with French tips! I got charged for dip $45, $10 for taking off my dip that I came in with, $5 for French tips, and gel for $20 (bc they recommended the gel was for the tips.) It took her almost an hour just to take off the nail polish from before bc she had watered down the acetone. Then she made my cuticle bleed the whole time and now has dried blood all around it. Maybe it was a fluke thing but I will not be going here ever again. Not worth $80 + tip. I've never paid that much or been nickel and dimed for everything like I was here. read more

Yesterday I visited this establishment. It was clean and the employees were very kind. I asked for the green tea pedicure, dip powder manicure and an eyebrow wax. They had many colors to choose from. I loved that they had matching colors for my hands and feet. My eyebrows look amazing! They offered me water or an alcoholic beverage. I chose water but others chose alcoholic beverages.
