Brides beware! I don't normally share negative experiences, but your wedding is too important and I don't want you to be forgotten about like I was. Drove over an hour to meet with Jim for an hour and a half wedding consultation, which turns out to have been a total waste of time. I was very hopeful and excited about the ideas he had for my wedding. He promised he'd have a quote for me in the next few days. Well 2 weeks went by and still no quote. I emailed him asking for an update and didn't hear back. So finally, I called the store and it was clear he had forgotten all about me. Even though we had exchanged multiple emails prior to my consultation, he had to ask for my email address again. He finally sent the quote the next day (3 weeks after he originally said he would), which had zero financial information (so not a quote at all). All the descriptions were there but noting $0 for every line item. I asked him to resend with the information and didn't hear back. Clearly I was forgotten again! I highly recommend Town and Country Gardens in Elgin. They sent me home with a quote same day and have had amazing response times when I have a question. read more

Wow...just WOW!!! This week my husband bought me flowers from Fabbrini's for the second time. Both times I was absolutely DAZZLED with their creativity and vision!! Both of the arrangements have been some of the most unique and inspired designs I have ever seen. The freshness, the color, the style, the modern and abstract look of the finished designs have literally left me speechless. Sad to say was not happy. They funded our wedding on 09/02 To start out this place is not cheap by any means. Which in this case we rolled with it you think you're gonna get the best of the best. Sadly not the case. We had issue during the final pickup cause they messed up and missed flowers then wanted to recharge us for their mistake. No thanks, was a big argument and so on. Anyways the important time, wedding day. Some lady pulls up in the lot where me and my groomsmen (im the groom) are hanging out. This lady rudely tells us to get the boxes of flowers and bring them in, uhm wtf? No...thats your job, were not doing a damn thing its my day. She then put on our flowers (ill get to quality in next paragraph) but didnt have enough pins...and told us this so our bootineers kept falling off and spinning upside down, and no she never brought more. She then only put like 3 on and said heres the box i have to go. And actually left and the box just sat there with everything in it? So she didnt do anybodys but like 3 guys...no parents, grandparents, ladys, nothing. Next thing quality- pretty much ALL of the flowers were wilted and looked like crap. I really wish i had pictures right now. I should have some later. My wife was really upset over this. We will be going in to complain but due to their attitude from the first issue I highly doubt they will do a damn thing. If your picking them for a small event sure, but if you plan to use them for some lofe changing important once in a lifetime day...STAY AWAY. You will NOT be happy with quality or the service they offer. read more

Could not be happier with Jim and his staff. They were just used at our daughters wedding and everything was great. Jim personally was at my house to drop of the bride and attendants flowers. He then went to the church to ensure the groomsmen were all ready and then was at the reception hall to ensure the flowers were in place. He worked within our budget and was very creative. I had a beautiful arrangement of flowers in a vase from my wedding that my mom wanted to get dried and preserved. So I recommended that she come here. I've had them make bouquets and arrangements before, so this shouldn't be an issue, right? Little did we know... When my mom dropped the arrangement off mid July, they said it would take about a few weeks for the flowers to dry. No problem. I've dried a bouquet at home, and its taken about 1.5 weeks. Seeing that this was a larger arrangement, we were expecting a few weeks anyway. Well we waited a few weeks, and never heard back. So my mom called them the first week of August and the girl who picked up said, "I don't think they're ready. The owner has them at his house, in his basement. I'll ask him and let you know in a few days." Huh? In the basement of his house?...Well a few days went by and still no word from Fabbrini. My mom called the second time, and again the girl who picked up said, "The owner forgot to check them. He'll let you know as soon as he checks them."...Okaaaayyyy....Finally, the owner called my mom back a day later and said, "The flowers are still not dry, it's going to take another 2 weeks."....At this point it had already been around 3 weeks. And they were saying another 2 weeks were needed... Well finally, it's the first week of September, and my mom gets the call from Fabbrini's that the flowers are ready to be picked up. Awesome. So we go in to pick them up..They looked absolutely HORRENDOUS. First of all, they were wrapped in some tissue paper, and they were absolutely crumbling when you touched them.The roses were flattened, half of the flowers were missing from the arrangement, and they weren't even sprayed to preserve them. It was pretty obvious that they weren't hung upside down to dry. They either forgot about the flowers completely, or dried them flat on a table, or did dry them correctly but crushed them underneath a box. Like I said, I know what a dried bouquet/arrangement looks like, and this wasn't it. They really weren't fooling anyone. Not only that, they were trying to tell us "well we did our job and dried the flowers, we're sorry you're not happy with them". Yeah, my 9 year old niece could've done the same job they did. Even though they refunded us for the drying, they basically ruined the flowers. To add insult to injury, their offer to fix the situation was for us to pay for a new arrangement to have them re-dry it. UM, NO. We are no way in hell paying you for anything. If anything, we should've been compensated with a free arrangement...Instead we took our vase and garbage dried flowers and left the store. Pictures are posted for proof. TL;DR: Fabbrini's ruined a beautiful arrangement by attempting to dry them. Forgot about them, and tried to lie about it. read more

I use Fabbrini's regularly to deliver flowers for birthdays, Valentine's day etc for my wife. They are a bit cheaper than 1-800 Flowers and ProFlowers, and their arrangements are much better for what you pay. I also like the customer service. They remember me when I call and they are helpful for people like me who don't know what they want. I just tell them what I want to spend, who it's for, and a few generic details and they do the rest. It always ends up looking nice. read more

I used this company for my wedding. My bridal bouquet was beautiful but my bridesmaids bouquet's were nothing like i wanted it is as they did not even listen to me, then i was told they will bring all the bouquets to the church and add the flowers to make the bouquets like i wanted, and sure enough they did not even do that so 50% of my photo's are without out the bouquets i paid for, also on the day of they wedding they made me pay $10 more for flower girl petals something i thought i had already paid for. I contacted Jim Fabbrini one week before my wedding. He met with me that day to discuss what I wanted. Jim showed me some colors and flowers and an example of how he would create the bouquets. We used them for our wedding this year and they did a bad job. The flowers were not the right color pink. We were very adamant about not wanting hot pink roses for the wedding, we asked for a blush pink in the consultation with Jim and he showed us exactly what we were looking for. The day of he shows up with hot pink roses! We had to send them back. The second time he comes back with the right color but the roses looked half dead. Would never use them again. read more

I'm not a big reviewer, but I felt obligated to let people looking for a flower vendor that I would recommend the Fabbrini a million times over. He has been in the business for a long time and you could really tell. The minute I met Jim, he was a very calming and confidant person who I immediately knew I could put my trust into. It seemed every time I was in the shop, there was a return customer saying, "I work with Jim for all my flower needs and he is the best!". I was Not disappointed. He worked with my budget and did NOT nickel and dime me, which I appreciated considering your wedding is one of the most expensive and important days of your life wrapped up into one fun little ball of stress. I showed him what I liked and my vision and he went with it. My dream was to be married in a garden so the flowers we a very important part of the big day. The day of the wedding, it rained right up until about 45 minutes before the ceremony started, we had the backup space set, it wasn't looking too promising. Jim, along with the other vendors knew how important it was for me to have my garden wedding. They watched the weather we were fortunate enough to catch a break. They busted their butts off to get me what I always wanted. They moved the entire wedding out to my original plan and I couldn't be more thankful. My husband tried to be sweet and surprise with with flowers he had seen me post on Facebook, he took a picture of the flowers and showed the florist and what I got looks nothing like the ones from Facebook. My husband was so disappointed that when he handled me the flowers he apologized and said he knew they weren't the same as the picture he showed the florist and told me to pick a pair of shoes so he could buy them for me instead as a gift. We used Fabrini's for my daughter's wedding and could not be happier! I don't know much about the whole wedding thing.... I do know that I wanted my daughter's day to be special, for her to be happy, and Fabrini's delivered on both counts! The flowers were wonderful! The attention to detail by the staff was wonderful. First off...This review is long overdue! Finding wedding flowers was an ordeal. First the contemplation involving real, silk, or otherwise. Next save a few bucks and DIY or use a florist? Once you decide on using a florist, then the homework begins because the amount of florists and reviews seem never ending. I read about Fabbrini through yep, followed by a trip to their website. I was impressed after reading their story and emailed them immediately. Mr. Fabbrini worked with us through email until our face to face meeting. My fiancé had an ideal of what she wanted but wasn't completely sure and was overwhelmed after having visited another florist. The meeting with Jim couldn't have been better. I'm not sure about how high the price was in comparison to other florists of similar quality, but the knowledge, experience, and result was worth it. Jim knew everything and exactly what my fiancé really wanted. We had them deliver from Hoffman estates to Libertyville and it was a little nerve racking waiting until just 3 hours before the wedding but we absolutely loved it. We will use Fabbrini again and absolutely recommend them if you want your flowers done right and done perfect. read more

Fabbrini's Flowers did an amazing job for a bat mitzvah we hosted last month. Bryan was very flexible with my directives and used his creativity to work within our budget. The arrangements were beautiful, I don't know how he did it but he captured my vision perfectly. Wanted to send flowers to a new girlfriend, and didn't know of any florist in the area where her office is located. Found Fabbrini's on Yelp and called with an "emergency" request. Called at 10:30am, had to have the flowers delivered before end of day. I spoke with Jim who took my request and made everything else incredibly easy. Jim offered great suggestions when I told him my price range, took all information from me and even had the delivery address in his system so all I had to do was confirm. Jim promised delivery by 1pm which was even better timing than I had anticipated, and then I got a call that the flowers had been received by 12:30 - less than 2 hours after placing the order. Service was amazing, Jim was very nice and helpful, the flowers sent were beautiful, and best of all I became the hero of the day. I will do much more business with Fabbirni's. read more

They were initially friendly & helpful over the phone but the quality was TERRIBLE. We ordered a "bracelet of spray roses" which cost $34. It was worn for less than 15 minutes when the bow and flowers began falling off!! Unfortunately, we weren't close enough to the store to bring it back or I would have. When we called to complain we were told "the flowers are delicate". It wasn't about the flowers (though they did brown quickly!). It was about the quality of the workmanship. The flowers shouldn't have fallen off. We were left with nothing more than a white fabric bracelet with globs of brown glue!! No apologies or offers of a refund. Two days later my nephew picked up flowers for his prom date. They bouquet was half dead. They were able to immediately bring it back and have it redone. Again, excuse was that "the flowers are delicate" No apologies! We will NEVER purchase flowers at Fabbrini's again!! read more
