We loved it! Beautiful little gem on Main Street! Perfect atmosphere with live, calm music, wonderful service - and the food was outstanding. French toast, spinach quiche and bread pudding, all treats! Thanks for the relaxing place to start our day!

Had breakfast here with my daughter on our last morning in Wheeling and it was great! I had the sweet potato hash and a banana muffin and enjoyed them immensely. My daughter tried both types of quiche; she preferred the Lorraine version. Great little place!

I have been searching for a pastry that matches the taste of a danish I had in Bismarck, North Dakota. I saw the Berries & Crème Croissant and had to try it. Absolutely delicious! The restaurant itself is so cute & the staff were kind!

I had an overnight business trip to Wheeling. There does appear to be some good eats there but sadly my trip was Monday/Tuesday with most of the interesting places closed on Mondays, Sarah's included. But they were open on Tuesday and this was my breakfast stop before heading back to Baltimore. I had the avocado toast with over-easy eggs. The toast is very thick slices of sourdough with an incredible crust. It was easiest to eat inside out breaking the crust with your fingers and eating with your hands! I was full before the crust but was no quitter. That is the way to make avocado toast! Friendly staff, inviting decor...I give this place 10 out 10! A side note, if visiting Wheeling, check out West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville (close by). That was neat.

Sarah's on Main has been a beloved staple for us even before we moved, and it's always a joy to visit during our trips back to Wheeling. This is hands down the best go-to breakfast spot in the Ohio Valley! The staff at Sarah's are incredibly friendly, making every visit pleasant and welcoming. I went for the breakfast hash, which is a delicious mixture of sweet potatoes, chorizo, egg of your choice, and spices. It's a heavier dish, but the flavors are amazing. The spice profile really creates a flavor that leaves you wanting more. My mom and Amy both got the salty bread breakfast sandwich, which is probably the most well-known staple on their menu and it never disappoints. Sarah's salty bread is unlike any other bread I've ever had; it's perfect for a sandwich or even cut up as part of a charcuterie board. It has just enough salt to make it extremely savory and it pairs well with anything. The breakfast sandwiches are thick cut and incredibly satisfying. We chose to dine inside, but Sarah's also features a wonderful outdoor space when the weather allows. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Sarah's on Main is a must-visit for an unforgettable breakfast experience. ---

Breakfast sandwich on salty bread is amazing and they make some of the best croissants I have ever had in this country. Avocado toast was delicious. Sweet potato hash is full of flavor. Can't wait to go back!!

The quiche is amazing! So fluffy and the crust is like a cookie. Absolutely delicious! I had a Morning bun and it melted in my mouth I can't say enough about the delicious food and the service was friendly and attentive. Very comfortable setting with fresh flowers on the tables and very clean.

Sarah's is a local gem that should be on every visitor's and local's list of places to try. Culinary delights and top-notch coffee drinks make this place a must-visit. Came here recently when the weather was still nice enough to dine outside. My girlfriend and I enjoyed some of their salty bread breakfast sandwiches, and the bread for those is worthy of its own praise: it is bar-none the best specialty bread I have ever had, and it not only works for breakfast sandwiches, but also for meatball subs, grilled cheese, and any other sandwich you would normally enjoy (you can buy it from Sarah's or other local shops she has arrangements with like Miklas Meats). It was the perfect way to start the day and its proximity to the Center Market shops makes it a swell addition to your shopping trips. I have no complaints about the place, really. You pay more but you get more, so the value is there, and it's worth the experience to dine-in if the weather is nice out. Be aware, parking can be a challenge here on Saturdays. Overall: 5.0 stars ----- Pros: - The best specialty bread you will ever try, as a part of some of the best breakfast sandwiches you will ever enjoy. - Good service. - Beautiful outdoor dining area. - Quality coffee drinks. Cons: - Parking can be difficult here on Saturdays, so plan on taking a few minutes to find a space.

A sweet surprise! Stopped there for breakfast and had a lovely meal. You can tell there is a chef in the house, everything was on point. Cooking an egg is an art, and it is well respected at Sarah's. The croissants made me salivate, they looked like the ones in Paris, France.

But…read morefor my wife's and I anniversary I wanted to play the junk box at 4:45 PM on March 10, 2026, to play Music Groups, Aerosmith, "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing", and Savage Garden, "I Knew I Loved You". So I approached the juke box, and the bar tender Whoever said, that this is a family-owned restaurant, and they don't play the juke box during the day, because it is a family restaurant, but they have the Game Room, playing crude country music that doesn't respect the family, and they say my music is going make trouble. Plus they can have restricted stuff from not playing, instead, I felt singled out as a guest there. Yes, you can have your double standard rules, because this is America, and the freedom to do whatever you feel like, but that does not mean I have to go there to be singled. I don't have to go back there. The first time was great in January, but on my wife and I anniversary of 26 years, I think I can find a place where I feel more welcomed. It is always the case of passing a great place down through the family, in order for it feel unwelcomed of the glory days. Yes, I know this place has been around since the 1990's, but it is a very unwelcoming place. You can act nice, while showing you didn't want us there. They said it was because Karaoke was at 7PM, while a minute song at 4:45PM. While they didn't even know what songs I was going to place. Again, I thought it would be an old-fashioned feel. Thus instead, I felt the Cold Ridged Religious Feel that was a double standard of Gambling Rooms and so forth. Yes, I went to seminary and everything else, but I am going to let everyone choose their own path. They have their ridged rules, but that does not mean I have to eat there, especially for anniversaries. It is not an anniversary or a place for specially occasions. Again, it doesn't bother me one bit, because I move on, but I am raised with certain values to tell what I believe. My wife felt the onion soup was too breaded and cheesy. They had a great Salad and Gluten Free Pizza. And the bathrooms are clean when I went in there, but I don't feel welcomed there. Like you're a stranger that should never return. I just wonder.

It is located in the Centre Market, along with many other shops and food spots. The girls working were very nice and lovely to converse with! We asked if they do a "medicine ball" -type drink, and one of the girls texted another person to make sure it was correctly made (she said not explicitly on the menu but they make it at customers request!) We got the tea, a seasonal latte, and a drink from their surprise jar. They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise! I never saw this before at a coffee shop and thought it was awesome. All of the drinks were great and the shop's ambiance is quaint and cozy. They are in the market amongst other shops, and have plenty of seats and tables to spread out at. If I lived in the area, I would come here to hang out or to meet up with friends. Would highly recommend the shop and will stop back when I am in the area!
