A favorite silk dress that had a oil stain on it for 5+ years, just could not bring myself to throw it away after many attempts to fix it. I even forgot to mention the stain when dropping it off. When I got home from picking it up I was amazed that the stain was GONE! Wore the dress that night out to dinner....and I was convinced it was a goner. The second item, my favorite jacket that like a moron I wore to the stables and practically ruined. We picked them up today and promptly hung them only to find out that the drapery panels themselves have been shrunk! The lining now hangs at least 2" longer than the panels and the panels are close to 3" shorter than they were when we took them in for cleaning. I contacted the owner who stated it was not their fault as items that are cleaned do not shrink. Well I beg to differ because my drapes have been ruined and are not useable now.
