The last place I went, I had to return to twice within 10 days because the full set was done so poorly (i won't name names but they are located near Costco). I walked in today after hearing great feedback, and Lisa was able to take me right away to repair a broken nail and a fill. She took her time, was very gentle, and super focused on her work. So I thought I give this place another try since it's under new ownership . It has a nice selection of colors . The owner gets you seated quick. The only problem I had was the young man who has large ear piercing seems extremely inexperience . I had gel and he used an electric buffer to remove the polish without soaking in acetone 1st. He buffed down so much my nail is extremely thin and now I am experiencing burning on my toes .Then I just notice he only did a clear top coat on only one foot . So on one foot the polish looks nice and shiny the other looks flat . I am not wondering if he is even licensed . Also as I am sitting there I notice the owner yells out the amount of tip the customer is leaving instead of handing off to the technician in most places . One women must a have left a undesirable amount because as soon as the amount was yelled out that lady's technician shakes her head. I will not be returning . read more

I just love this place! They are always able to accommodate me if I just walk in. If you just want a quick in and out, this is not your place (I go to David's in Modesto for that- and also, because it's closer to my work). Here, they really take their time on you - even their most basic pedicure gives you a wonderful long leg/ calf massage, with hot towels too. The upgraded packages with the hot stones are also great! Plan on it lasting about 45ish minutes for the basic pedicure. This is where I go to be pampered and to relax. It's clean inside, quiet, and the staff is courteous and everyone I have had does a great job. It's so relaxing, the lady to the right of me has fallen asleep! Haha! Nothing more relaxing on a hot summer day than being pampered with a mani pedi in a nice air conditioned salon. Hailey did my Manicure and Pedicure today and she was amazing. Very thorough and didn't rush even though it seemed like a busy Saturday. When I asked for the WiFi password, she didn't hesitate to type it in my phone for me. I would give a zero if I could. Called ahead and went in for a filling myself and full set for my daughter. When we arrived we were told they'd be with us in 10 minutes. Before you knew it, 25 minutes had gone by and we still hadn't been seen. One of the older ladies finally helped me, but my daughter had to continue waiting. To say it was a bad job is an understatement. The woman didn't level the acrylic of my nails. In some areas they feel thicker than others. She didn't even finish removing the previous nail polish I had, when I asked her to fix it, I noticed that she got irritated. My daughter was already disappointed for all the time she had to wait. What a disappointment. Although, they sat 3 of us down very quickly we waited soaking our feet in the water for 10 minutes to wait for someone to do our pedicures. I would have rather waited seated than soaking my feet for too long. Not very friendly atmosphere and they didn't do a very good job cleaning around my toe nails. I'm not sure if they were afraid or what it is, but they need to be comfortable with their tools. I asked for a simple white tip/french, my nail lady could NOT do a line. Its not the language barrier, i simply ask for a thin or small but it took her three tries but still failed. Anyway, i eventually asked for a color instead. I have always gotten a pedicure everywhere. Different salon, different individual, men or women, i have never experienced a place that is so difficult. My point, spend your money's worth somewhere else that can NOT do a simple french tip. As I walked away from my chair very disappointed, the owner or some lady did not even do anything about the situation. All she said is that she is sorry, BUT all three pedicure we got was BAD. Our nails we NOT cut right I mean, they look so uneven!! It looked like a child did our pedicures. Do these people even have their license?! Oh, and did I mentioned they were talking shit about us? I understood what was being said. Just because we do not look like "your kind" does not give you the right to talk about us. We are paying customers. Not worth every damn penny. I have been going to this nail salon for a few years now and have really enjoyed their pedicures. I have noticed a decline in customer service in the past year, though. For example, about 2 months ago I made my friend and I an appointment and we arrived on time. Even with the appointment we had to wait 40 minutes for them to get to us. Words cannot express the absolute professionalism by staff. What a great experience for the second time! A busy place but they make you feel like you are the only customer! The ambiance is relaxing, spotless and gives you the feel and experience of a ritzy upscale day spa. I enjoyed the Heavenly Spa and the goodies kept coming, the leg and foot massage was amazing, the paraffin wax and continued leg massage made me relax...I think I dozed off for a moment and let out a little snore lol. Haley did a great job and the warm rocks and hot towel leg wrap was fantastic! Lastly a ten min massage was included on my shoulders/back...yes all part of the Heavenly pedicure! This place used to be good.my last pedicure sucked. You have options from classic to heavenly. I chose fabulous for the extra massage. The lady that did mine barely flicked her hands, no effort at all. I paid extra for the massage and she barely massaged my leg. I go get pedicure mostly for the massage and it totally sucked. The only person I trust here is, Ha. She's fantastic. She takes her time, cleans my nails and is careful with her work. I used to see Phuong years ago, but since she left, Ha has taken over and I'm not looking back. I now live in Sacramento and I travel back to Manteca to see her. There's no one else that carefully cares for my hands and feet that way she does. I have seen other technicians here, but they don't do as great as a job like Ha does. The damage they caused to my hands was inexcusable! I have been getting my nails done for many years and NEVER have I been treated or damaged with such utter disrespect. I have NO idea why a full set is listed at $35 and I was charged $45 but that's what I paid to have the worst set of nails EVER! ... Although I love the nice chairs, cleanliness and nice furnishings...it is one more nail salon where no one speaks to you and when they speak to each other it is in THIER language. I wish that business owners would realize how rude and inhospitable they are being to their customers. My daughters and I go here frequently, or used to. The last time my daughter went, she got gel nails, no tips. When they were done, they charged her for a full set. When she questioned the price and asked why it was so much when it was essentially a fill, they told her that was the price and they wouldn't budge. They were rude and would not compromise, even though she was a regular customer. I will not be going back to this salon. This is my favorite salon. I have gotten facials, waxing, pedicures, manicures, and acrylics here. It is so fabulous here! Both Lisa and Lee do a great job with full sets and fills. They are both very patient and willing to try any design you bring to them. I have asked for some really different requests for designs but they always are helpfully and willing to do it. Mary, Ha, and Evon all do a great job with the spa pedicures adding designs on your toes. Ask for the wax on your feet and it makes your skin soft as a baby. They have hello kitty spa pedicures for kids and they just ordered all new spa pedicure chairs. The prices are very reasonable and I have really enjoyed going here for the past 1 1/2 years! If you want to bring your friends have a party here! It's the best place for nails, waxing and facials! read more

Worst manicure I have ever received! - didn't file the sides of my nails, just straight across - crooked filing - didn't paint inside the lines of my nail - cut my skin - definitely needed a third coat since the color was pale pink, and has empty spaces on some parts of the color - my hand was definitely dry and cuticle crust was stuck in the color Maybe I'm just spoiled from places in the city, like Sensi Nails. But I really want to get a re-do the next day because it's that ugly. You go in to relax but come out feeling upset!
