We ordered take-out for dinner: steak tacos on corn tortillas and chips and guacamole. The guacamole comes in small, medium, large, and extra large. Tacos were good and loaded with a lot of meat. But the guacamole was a bit bland. The place is small and the staff is friendly. read more

This place use to be phenomenal pre covid. I dream about their chicken tacos on a crispy shell with sour cream and avocado (extra for avocado but no biggy) all for 1.50! Now they are charging 2.75 for tacos which hey, it's all good-inflation happens, but they are good like they use to be. They load your tacos with meat which is good but the meat is very bland and the tacos are soggy. My mother purchased me a taco dinner and said 3 tacos where there and I thought it was just 2 because the third taco disintegrated from the moisture. The rice and beans were very bland with no salt or seasoning whatsoever. My mothers burrito was good and the salsa is great so that's why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1. It's been a few years since I commented on this place so thought I would chip in my 2 cents again. And my opinion hasn't changed. This place is the real deal and I am a Mexican food freak. Everything I have tried is fresh, big portions, and great prices. My go to order - 2 combo tacos on corn w cilantro and onion and the steak sope. So f'in good and can't beat the price. The People there are awesome too - tip them!!! They work really hard and are always so nice. So just another reason to go there and support them. I will give this place like five tacos are better ! but my husband and I got 2 taco salads beef and Lengua I asked for 2 meats in mine so yes it cost a little more but I will tell you it was well worth it ! the bowls made out of a flour shell were filled to the top !! Favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. If you order 12oz of the Pico and 12oz of their hot salsa and mix the two in a blender, it makes an excellent salsa. read more

Fast delivery, the steak burrito was cooked well. The salad was decent, but a lot of sour cream added to it, so if you aren't a sour cream fan, make sure to request little or no sour cream. read more

Steak tacos were super bland had no flavor & tasted like ground beef. The rice was so dry & over cooked I could've cracked my tooth. Ask for lime & they didn't have it. I LOVE Mexican food and this place is the bomb. Love the portions. Chicken tacos are very good. When you dine in you get chips and salsa. Because they are good they are busy so sometimes you have to wait either in the restaurant or for pick up but it's worth it. The prices are also VERY reasonable. Check it out. read more

I just found this restaurant today while driving by. I walked in everyone said hello and smiled made me feel welcomed I ordered a steak burrito it was huge I could not eat it all. I would recommend this place. Burrito chips and a coke was only ten bucks. read more

I have been coming here for years. The food is good and consistent. I was very disappointed that the prices were raised by 20%. When I asked the cashier her response was we can't give our stuff away. With a crappy attitude and a 20% increase and bad attitude I'm going to Burrito Jalisco and letting my co workers to do likewise. read more

Holey Mole! (See what I did there? No? Well I suggest you brush up on your Mexican puns!) This place is delicious. Better than Chipolte, but just as fast! From the time I order to the time I get to eat, it takes no longer than two minutes. I usually get the chicken enchilada dinner, with green sauce. The chicken is always fresh, the cheese is always plentiful, and the green sauce adds the perfect amount of kick. When I'm not here, I crave it. When I'm eating out with others, I suggest it. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they start mopping too early, and I get a wiff of disinfectant while I'm finishing my rice and beans. This, however, would never stop me from enjoying the Mexican goodness that is Speedy Burrito. Oh, yeah, and the prices are very reasonable too! read more

We've been eating at this place for awhile and surprised this wasn't reviewed on Yelp. Read on. The place is right next to a dry-cleaner and Baskin Robins -- it can be overlooked. When you walk in, the kitchen is open so you can see them prepare your food. It's a small local joint and is very clean. A big plus+! There aren't that many tables for seating but I rarely see this place packed for dine-in eating. We typically order take-out. The service is excellent and fast -- hence the reason why it's called Speedy Burritio! Seriously though, this place has mexican food that will make your taste buds happy! The tacos are my favorite to order -- a must order when you visit! The price is very reasonable and you get served a decent portion for your meals. Speedy Burrito is great Mexican. You can dine in or take out. I recommend if you are in the southern Orland Park area.

The portions are outstanding but the burrito itself is horrible tasting. The grease just drips off your chin after a bite. Damn. Awful.

I'll give a three star rating because I enjoy the food that much. The prices aren't bad either. The two lost stars is due to the associates. Every item I've ordered (tacos, burritos, sope, etc.) has come out good. The associates don't even care to look me in the eye while I order, and can't understand what I say while I'm ordering. Obviously there is a language barrier that they haven't been able to overcome? Either way it just comes off as rude, and I have to repeatedly say the same thing over-and-over until I get annoyed. If you're going to work here you might as well learn the language of the people you're serving lol. Not a bad place, just wish different people worked there. read more

Came here because of the reviews and it was close by the hotel I was staying in. I had a to-go order. The cashier was moving kind of fast as she took my order, very nonchalantly. I ordered a steak burrito suizo, no beans, with sour cream on the side (which is an additional cost). Not only was my sour cream not there, there was also napkins or eating utensil in my bag. The burrito was huge and tasted just ok. I probably will not attend this place again. Great customer service is a must and unfortunately, I didn't experience that. read more

Drove by enough times, finally decided to roll in for lunch. Granted, I dont order the typical luncheon fare. So I went with the taco al pastor, lengua (beef tongue) and chili relenos. The place is pretty clean. Hot and mild sauces were good. Fresh carrots and peppers excellent. There is a lime shortage (prices have tripled since the start of the new year), so got some lime wedges that werent very juices. Fresh onion and cilantro on corn tortillas for lengua and al pastor. Lengua and al pastor was good though not fresh. Relenos was excellent. Dinner wasnt bad with rice and beans. Overall a good experience. Will try another time. read more

Would give this place no stars if I could. Called to see if they used msg (monosodium glutamate) because my gets sick from it. The first call the young person hung up on us. On the call back she asked her "boss" who was right by her and we were told he doesn't know and got hung up on AGAIN. Can't try this place if the boss don't even know the risk is too high. My suggestion learn the menu and ingredients and have someone answer the phone that knows how to NOT keep hanging up on people. Will not try this place. read more
