tried to cancel in store (told to go online) and then online (there is nowhere online so you have to wait to call store the next day) and finally getting the correct email you change from 14 days i was told to 15 and wouldn't honor a refund. seconding i tried to use the credit i was charged and the manager said I couldn't make a same day appointment (when there were 3 available because i cancelled ....now how does that make sense when i was charged for service. She said I could come back in february because i wouldn't be available until then but would have to call since i took my card off file and no longer have an account...fine. i was planning on starting service again at some point. when i called in February this was not the case and no longer had a "held" credit in good faith. i counted it as a loss and would never get that money or credit back but also the deduction was made for me that you lost a costumer and i would no longer refer anyone (i work in the industry and we talk about the best places to go a lot...people will only being hearing about my negative experience from now on and models and actors i work with will never again be sent your way) the nail in the coffin is during accounting I see 4 charges from you in 2 days on march 14 and 15 on a card that I had REMOVED from the file! I hold a lot of tension in my jaw, constantly grinding and clenching my teeth while I sleep, so I was instantly intrigued when I saw a video about Face Gym on social media. My boyfriend booked me an appointment for their Signature Sculpt "workout" with "trainer" Kai. Since it was my first visit, she walked me through the process and explained the tools and techniques she would use. She had me put on a headband and we discussed my goals for the session. I told her that I would like to loosen up my jaw while depuffing my face and tightening up my jawline. She started with their face ball as a warmup, rolling it over my face, neck, shoulders, and chest with pressure to loosen me up. Then she cleansed my face, removing my makeup everywhere but my eyes. My eyeliner surprisingly stayed intact the entire time! She warned that their technique is different than regular facials and might be a bit painful since it's more like a deep tissue massage for my face. I definitely tensed when she kneaded her thumbs into my cheekbones and jaw, but it also felt strangely relaxing. We opted for the Intense Cleanse booster to unclog my pores and infuse vitamins into my skin to help with dark spots. When I saw the end results, I was shocked at how toned my face looked! There was a noticeable difference right after that even my boyfriend could see. She mentioned that the effects would last 5-7 days and even longer if I returned for regular visits. My skin was also glowing, and my makeup went on so smoothly the next day! Sometimes beauty trends feel like short-lived fads, but I believe that the treatments here do make a difference. I came here for a 45 minute Signature Hands treatment. I only got a 35 minute treatment. When I asked the front desk, they said it's 10 minutes consultation and 35 minutes treatment. As a note, this review is about the company as a whole along with their policies. The actual services are fine (though, I can say, I didn't leave the one session I went to feeling like I just had the best facial I've ever experienced...). But back to the point of this review... For a company whose entire business model is based off customer service, this one is severely lacking so I recommend you spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Also, to be clear, I am not new to subscription or membership style services. I've had facial "memberships" at different locations and have had ZERO issues with canceling, pausing, traveling, getting money back... Same with any actual gyms I've joined (which have been plenty). In fact, I had another facial membership in another city running at the same time as this one. With one email to the on-site team, I was able to cancel the membership. And I had no problem with missing some arbitrary cancellation date because the facials don't just disappear. So, I have a few facials simply sitting on my account for when I'm back in that town. It's absolutely ridiculous to have a business practice where you just take someone's money and not give them anything in return, and, side note, Face Gym, the ability to get a discount on whatever you're offering that month and/or a facial that doesn't roll over is NOT a worthy offering. Life happens. Sometimes life comes along and kicks you in the a$$, and, though this may sound crazy, when that happens, the last thing on your mind as you're dealing with some pretty big stuff is "oh, let me take a moment and call the facial place I thought I would be able to go to regularly, get the email I need to email from the person on site, email the memberships team, fill out a form they'll send you in the email and cancel, all within 15 days before the next billing cycle so they don't take my money since 'facials don't roll over'." Sometimes in life you need to be accommodated. This company has no interest in accommodating their customers. There are thousands of spas out there. I highly recommend giving your money to one who respects and cares about their customers and works with them when necessary. If you're curious about my experience further, please see below. 1. Poorly trained staff (or, perhaps, staff who just don't care about their customers): The person who "sold" me the membership at the "gym" didn't explain the policies to me at all so that's problem number one. Since they expect you to go read all the fine print yourselves instead of having it explained, I'll break some of it down for you... When you join this "gym" you join for a minimum of two months. But, here's the fun kicker... Turns out, they don't allow facials to roll over. They just take your money. So, please, never travel, never go on vacations, never let life happen to you... you'll waste your hard earned money. Personally, I am constantly on the road for work so I would not have joined any facial place where a monthly facial doesn't roll over. I'm not in town enough to justify that spend. Side note, I did like Josh at the Weho "gym" who actually acted like he cared and tried to help even though he couldn't because of point #2. 2. The staff on site are not able to assist you: Aside from allowing you to sign up for a "membership" the on-site team cannot help you at all. They can't cancel your memberships, they can't do anything should you have an issue. Not even the managers can help. I've never experienced that before. If there's a problem, no big deal, you can email the membership team who are on site at their London offices (insert eye roll here) 3. Their cancellation policy is onerous: You have to email some random email (again, because the actual staff you deal at the actual locations you go to can't help you at all). You're then asked to fill out a form - why? Who knows... My email saying I want to cancel should be enough. Then, you have to ensure you do all of that 15 days prior to the billing cycle. 4. Their customer service is nonexistent: Don't bother having an issue. They won't help you at all. They will instead point out all the various locations on their online sites where you can find the information for their policies. And if there's anything off, sorry, can't help. It's all "automatic". There's simply no way, in 2024 anyone at that company is able to go around their "automatic" system, you know? It makes total sense. They "are unable to make any exceptions. This policy is outlined in our Membership Terms and Conditions, which ensures that all members are treated fairly and consistently." So PLEASE, if you join this horrible company, don't have life happen to you... In conclusion, this company has created an environment where the staff cannot help you at all, they make you engage in multiple steps to cancel and they just take your money if you can't make it in that month. read more

I do not have Covid and have tested negative. After waiting for my appointment, I was denied service... they came up with multiple excuses... but put on masks.
