With that said, I wasn't sure who to book for my brow appointment this time, so I went ahead and booked with Jessica, and it turned out to be the worst experience ever. My appointment was from 11:40 - 12:00, but Jessica did not show up until 11:46. No apologies, just "thank you for waiting." Then, she proceeded to tap on her iPad aggressively after I told her that I've checked-in already. (Thanks to the only technician who was present at the time. She was with a client, but came over to get me checked-in.) Before Jessica started working on my brows, another customer came by and Jessica told her that it would only take her 8 minutes, and she can take her after she is done with me. After Jessica was done tapping on her iPad aggressively, she didn't sanitize her hands nor did she wore gloves. At first, I thought gloves are no longer a requirement, but I saw the other technician wore gloves. Not only was she aggressively tapping her iPad, she was also aggressive when she finally worked on my brows. Every step she did on me, it pushed me back a little. It was impossible to hold still in the chair. When Jessica finished the first brow, she mumbled something that I didn't hear, then I felt the mirror on my hand. She asked me to check my brow, then she proceeded to work on the other brow. The whole process didn't even take place 8 minutes, only 6. (I was keeping track of time.) The past appointments always ended with aloe gel, but Jessica did not apply a layer of aloe gel on me this time. I was really contemplating whether I should tip or not, but I did regardless. I handed Jessica $10 and asked for change, she gave me 2 $5. I've always tipped $5 even when brow wax was $22. To be honest, I don't the service today was worth a $5 tip. Not sure if I'll ever come back again. If I do, I definitely wouldn't book Jessica again.

She took the time to understand my olive skin tone and worked patiently with me through multiple consultations to nail down exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Her makeup application was flawless and held up beautifully, even after 14 hours of wear. When my hair didn't turn out as expected the morning of the wedding, I was pretty distraught. Sammy jumped in without hesitation to fix my makeup and make sure everything was perfect before the ceremony. Her kindness and support during that stressful moment meant the world to me and helped me get back to feeling excited about the day. I couldn't recommend her more!

I had a loyalty card that was one stamp away from earning a free eyebrow threading. During one of my visits, I asked for my stamp and was told by the gentleman working there that they no longer used the physical stamps and had moved everything into their system. He told me that all I would need to do for future visits was provide my phone number. He specifically asked me for my loyalty card, and I handed it to him because I trusted that he was transferring my existing stamps into their system. When I returned for another eyebrow threading and provided my phone number, there was no record of my previous stamps. I was then told that they had no proof of the stamps and could only give me the one stamp for that current visit. What really disappointed me was that I had physically handed my loyalty card to an employee after being told that my stamps would be entered into the system. If I had known my previous stamps would not be honored, I obviously would have kept the card as proof. At this point, it's not about the free eyebrow threading itself. It's about being given specific information by an employee, trusting what I was told, and then being left with no way to recover the loyalty stamps I had earned. I feel that my card and loyalty should have been respected, especially since I was a returning customer. Unfortunately, because of this experience and the way the situation was handled, I no longer feel comfortable returning. I hope the business takes this as an opportunity to make sure employees are properly communicating changes to the loyalty program and that customers' previously earned rewards are honored.

I have no issue with paying top dollar for an expert when it comes to beauty services. I do not feel the attention to detail was there. I do not like leaving such reviews but I have never got a skin cut at other comparable eyebrow salons. I also do not use any retinol products so I feel it was more about the skill/technique.
