My wedding has been rescheduled around 3 times due to Covid. Every time we luckily were able to work together on the new date. Every time I offered her a new deposit and she would say it's not needed, I appreciated that. The reason I'm giving her 2 stars is because when I asked to reschedule once more she let me know that she was busy on this new date and asked if it was set in stone. Once I confirmed it was a set date and also asked about cancellation process she stopped replying. I generally don't expect emails to be responded ASAP but I saw on her Instagram that she said "all email and texts responded to", but clearly she didn't reply to me. I feel like she just stopped replying because she knew we wouldn't be able to make my new date work and I'm no longer a bride on her calendar. feel like she should have been more professional and let me know I was losing my make up artist and all the money I already paid. I'm not complaining about not getting my money back its definitely in the terms of the contract, I'm mostly bummed that she didn't just tell me outright and that I still haven't heard from her (it's been months) PS I'm only posting about this here because she got my Negative review removed from the Knot. read more

The makeup that she did lasted all day and looked great in all of our photos. The reason for minus one star was with the hair. I had Amy do a low curled bun and it lasted throughout most of the day, but not the entire day. It stayed in place for all of the important photos but started to fall out a bit once the dancing started. By the end of the night, it had noticeably come undone in one section. It wasn't a big deal since we were just dancing by that point, but it would have been good if the whole updo had been a little tighter.
