My wife and I…read morepurchased a really nice mattress set up from another Mattress location about 10 years ago and it's not as comfortable as it used to be, so we were looking for a potential replacement. Upon entering I met Daniel, the sales rep, who shared his expertise on all the differing styles of mattresses they offer. The one thing you notice almost right away is just how expensive mattresses can be depending on the maker. I've included quite a number of photos to drive that point home. With that said, you are spending a third of your life horizontally on a mattress so it's worth getting something that fits your physique. They do have deals and incentives and they can text or email you any additional information concerning your choices. They currently offer a $300 gift which can be applied towards pillows, sheets, and accessories. They do have some less expensive mattresses at the back of the store, which are perfect for guest rooms. One of the best deals I spotted was for $500 where you could get a nice mattress with an adjustable base. If you want something locally made, they have Stearns&Foster mattresses which are made in Brenham, Texas. You will also find a unique type of mattress known as the Purple mattress which has its own unique design (see photo below). They will also haul away your old mattress for $100, but they can probably work out a better price depending on your purchase. After we review all the information will be back to make our choice. I really need to try out beds and listen to my spine as I do so. I need a firm mattress, BUT I am NOT a side sleeper. Yet, the mattress can't be too firm. We met Daniel, who was so, so kind. He listened to our needs. We told him we don't want any bells and whistles--no adjustable beds. We wanted a King, with the 2 twin box springs below. The beds we were looking at were REALLY more than we wanted to spend. Upwards of $2500.00. Daniel went to the back wall and pulled down a Sealy Posturepedic and got us a GREAT DEAL within our budget. I didn't think it could be done. I suggested that we wait for the next sale and return. We have had our bed for a week now, and we are so happy with it. The comfort level is PERFECT for my spine as well as for my husband. We are BOTH happy. We also wanted to buy a new bed for our son, who is only 16 and is 6'2" tall. Still growing. We thought getting him a Full mattress would help. Daniel explained that our son would actually need a Queen and that a Queen would be the size that would be appropriate for his height. He found a mattress for $500.00 for our son. We are going to buy that mattress and one for our daughter next month. I hope to go when Daniel is there again. He made the process of finding a bed EASY. It's NEVER easy for me. EVER. The last time, it took over an hour, and I left because I couldn't find one in our price range that worked for my spine. I anticipated this was going to happen again. It did not. As well, he helped us with our son's bed and taught us a lot. Daniel was a professional. He managed to get us discounts as well. Our bed has been here for a week, and for the first time in MY LIFE, I look forward to going to bed. :) I love our new bed. My HUSBAND loves our new bed. Um, our dogs love the new bed, too. Nobody asked them, but they felt they should share their opinions as well. Mattress Firm, seriously, you need to do whatever you can to keep Daniel with your company. He is professional, kind, and courteous. He knows his facts about the products he is selling. A note, though? People with spine issues need a firmer mattress- but that doesn't mean they are back sleepers. I can't sleep on my back because I have too much hardware and arthritis. It's just that we need to keep our spine straight and aligned whilst sleeping. Let your associates know. It really was a pleasure working with Daniel. I do hope our paths cross again. I wanted to hire UB Kitchens as they seemed legit. They met with me about my kitchen gut/remodel…read morejob and gave me a quote of $25k. I really liked their customer service and the high quality of their cabinets. Unfortunately, as my house was getting close to completion, I flew in to meet in person to work on the kitchen project and they quoted me $66k now. I understand prices are increasing during the pandemic but not nearly triple. It looks like on top of the price increases, they may have counted the wrong number of cabinets needed for the project. I tried to work with them cause I wanted it to work out but ultimately, I would have had to make too many sacrifices to fit the budget such as not doing some upper cabinets and doing open shelving instead. In making these edits, they could get it down to $45k, still double the original quote and with too many sacrifices. If I calculate cabinets, counters, GC work, etc, the kitchen would be well over $100k. For that price, you should just go with a fully custom kitchen company. If I wasn't building a new house, building out a big pool and deck and all these other incredibly expensive projects, I would have liked to go with UB, but their pricing was more than I think I'd worth for semi custom
