I love Fadi's and have been a loyal customer for nearly 25 years. I first discovered Fadi's when I lived behind the Westheimer/Dairy Ashford location and I've been a regular ever since. I've shared with family, friends and colleagues about Fadi's and always made a point to stop by even after moving to another State. We visited the Memorial location on Dec 31 and noticed a promotion offering 10% off gift cards with a minimum $50 purchase. I thought this was a great opportunity to share my love of Fadi's with my new real estate agent who helps us out in house hunting! Unfortunately, Francisco, the manager told us they run out of gift cards. Since we were on our way to a friend's dinner in Sugar Land, he suggested we stop by the SL location and speak with the manager there, Shane. Because of Houston traffic and other errands we needed to run before dinner, I called the SL location to explain that we wouldn't make it in time and asked whether we could purchase the gift card the next day, Jan 1. Shane flatly said no--no exceptions since the promotion ended on Dec 31 and then abruptly hung up. I understand year-end accounting considerations, but the complete lack of flexibility (and courtesy) was shocking, especially when this would have been additional revenue for the restaurant. It was not customer-centric at all. To be fair, Francisco at the Memorial location did offer to honor the 10% discount if we came back on Jan 1, but he couldn't guarantee they'd have gift cards available. I mentioned that the Meyerland location would be closest to us, but were told that location has a different owner and doesn't participate in the same promotions. That left us frustrated, especially given our schedule the next day. As for the Memorial location itself: the food was good, service overall was solid, and the layout reminded me of the Katy location. However, the cashier experience could use improvement. She was on the phone while checking us out and clearly multitasking while responding to someone else at the same time. It felt rushed and disorganized, possibly due to understaffing. This visit was around 3:05 pm on Dec 31, so I understand it was a busy day, but it might be worth having additional staff to help with carryout or catering orders. I'm sharing this because I care about Fadi's and want to see the customer experience reflect the quality and reputation the brand has built over the years. read more

I stopped by today for a solo valentines dinner, it came with one deluxe entree, 3 half sides and juice and I also added on a cheese bread. You start off by ordering your choice of protein and then you get to look at a variety of sides, I don't recall all the sides I ordered but they all looked appealing. They also have some more types of starch products getting towards the register. Everything I had today was full of flavor, the chicken kabob was nice and grilled that you could taste the charredness of it. The only thing that could have been improved is keeping the cheese bread underneath a heat lamp since when I bit into it had a leathery texture rather than being soft and gooey. Since they opened, I've often felt like I was being dragged to Fadi's. For years, this was a go-to place with friends, book club, etc. I never understood the hype. I must confess, seeing an average Yelp rating doesn't help me overcome any mental hurdles with wanting to come here to eat. But everything changed one day when someone at the office left a bunch of leftover boxed meals in the kitchen. I grabbed a Turkish lamb kabob box to take home. It came with grilled onion and tomato, rice, salad, hummus, pita, and baklava. I had low expectations, but it was surprisingly good! Fast forward two years, and especially in the past year, I've come here quite regularly since it's one of my boyfriend's favorite places for dinner...at this point I can safely say, this place is better than a 3ish star rating. Is it my favorite hummus in the world? No. But is it a very filling meal, with plentiful other delicious sides? Absolutely. My favorite sides here are the pomegranate eggplant and the cauliflower. I've never been disappointed by either. Recently, I've been branching out, and the mozzarella spinach was very flavorful. Even a pickled type mushroom salad was pretty decent. I am still unsure as to whether I get half or whole sides on a plate. We typically order the mixed kabobs and get the chicken Adana and the beef kofta--but I don't even know where it is on their menu. It's never too loud in here. I'd say the pricing is fair at $17-ish per person before tax. Someone told me they have a good tres leches, but I'm always too stuffed from the food to get dessert. So if you like Mediterranean food, and want consistently good food, this is a very solid place. read more

Went here in a group with some vegetarians. It has quite a good selection for your vegetarian friends. I ordered the lamb, which were the special. For $18.99, the lamb wasn't bad to be honest. The place is clean. The cashier who checked me out was very friendly. I also got the mint lemonade, which was delicious. I will come back. read more

Fadi can't disappoint you. You should try my "random point point" method when you come here. Just point randomly at any side dishes they have (salad/cold/hot/bread) and it will amaze you somehow. I thought this was a great Mediterranean restaurant. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. Ordered a couple of baklava to go and they were yummy. The meats were grilled that day and the prepared side dishes also tasted like they were prepared that morning. I felt like it was good bang for buck - about $15-$20 per person. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. You ordered and then go sit down so there isn't a server exactly although we were able to request napkins from the runners (those bringing over the food ). The parking lot can get full as it shared with other restaurants and other businesses. Since you order first a line can appear although it moves quickly. read more

Yummy! I love this place. I've been to 4 locations around Houston and for whatever reason, this one is my go to. Fadi's is amazing for large family style meals or small individual lunch options. From gyros, to kabob plates to hummus! They legit hit all the Mediterranean favs. The store front is huge. Spacious enough for anyone to spread out. The food itself is delicious! I often order the lamb kabob and the rice plate with avocado hummus. Just too good. Pita comes with the in house side order purchase and each table has pesto oil and salt and pepper. I definitely recommend. Very clean, great staff, beautiful food service line display, like I mean gorgeous! They actually make everything look so good you will have a hard time deciding what you want to eat. Also, the baklava is amazing! Wow, I definitely will not be back to Fadi's at least the location on Katy Freeway. The baba ghanoush was not delicious. It did not have that nice nutty flavor of roasted eggplant. The gravy on the lamb shank tasted like brown water. Eating here is like being moved around like cattle. The carrots and vegetables with the lamb had previously been frozen. They tasted like they came out of a frozen dinner tray. The tables are too close together. The tables are not bussed timely and food remains on the tables for extended periods of time after guests leave. I took just a few bites of food to satiate my appetite and departed. So I love Fadis. Normally, it would be a 5/5 stars, but this locale was a bit on the slow side. I came in and ordered to go and ended up wasting most of my lunch time waiting for my food. This location is just as nicely decorated at the rest, bigger too. If you want a quiet place, it's not the place, but it's a nice place to sit for lunch and have a chat. Food is very fresh. It's expensive but you get a lot. It's super loud so not a place to really sit and relax.

First of all, the parking lot is terrible (shared with Pluckers which is busy 24/7). We had a reservation here which is hit/miss nowadays...restaurants will say they have your reservation yet still make you wait 30 min for your table. But Fadi's had our two tables sectioned off with signs and were ready when we got there which was impressed with. The food here is not bad but not the best in Houston. I think all the sides are better than the entrees. I got the kebab (dry) and small portion. The cauliflower is always a smash hit and the hummus creamy and delicious. I wish they'd give you more pita bc the hummus ratio is way bigger. read more
