05/24/2026 My friend and I had dinner nearby and had to stop here because of the name! The inside was fairly small, but there was no line. The server was very friendly and patient. I sampled a few flavors before deciding on Pistachio and Tiramisu, split in a small cup. The texture was creamy, though not as dense as I'm used to with gelato. It was still very enjoyable!

I think the customer service is lacking, I feel as if it is a chew you out and spit you out environment, but the ice cream is okay.

Great gelato! The person working the counter was really nice and let us try samples and made great conversation! The ambiance was certainly unique in its fainting goat deco. Its got great gelato even compared to Italy's gelatarias!

Very yummy treat. The Chocolate fondente flavor was very rich and flavorful! The salted caramel tasted a bit plain to us. The young women working was kind and efficient (being as she was the only one working on a busy Friday night). Plenty of seating inside.

I'm so used to small portions when it comes to buying ice cream from a shop but Fainting Goat Gelato does not disappoint. Their portions are plenty and their gelato is so good. I got a double scoop of matcha green tea and hazelnut which are both my favorites but in a gelato form. The place is very cozy and the customer service is great. Make the stop at Fainting Goat if you are craving dessert, highly recommend.

Cute little shop with good options. I tried pistachio and chocolate flavor and found it to be good. Taste was similar to other gelato places. Service was good and staff is kind.

I've had this bookmarked for a while; the name and the cute interior had always intrigued me when driving by in y bus. The sunny weekend weather and a trip to the Fremont Sunday Market brought me in. The sever was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the origin of the shop and ingredients used. I sampled a bunch before making my selection. All of them were very tasty making for a tough decision. I finally settled on the goat milk mastic combined with spicy chocolate - great combo! I loved that I was asked which flavor I wanted on the bottom- it's that last bite that lingers on the tastebuds! Go for the homemade waffle cone - sturdy, crunchy, and right amount of sweetness. Also, the team will cheerfully hand pack a pint to go if your desired flavor isn't already in the cooler.

The pistachio flavor was rich, creamy, and delicious. The chocolate fondente was also creamy and delicious. It tasted kind of like a chocolate mousse, however it was a bit too sweet for me. A couple other flavors we sampled (Mexican vanilla bean and coconut) were a little icy in texture. They have a few tables inside and outside of the store.

Hanging out with my daughter for post dinner dessert in Fremont. The fainting goat is always a good spot. Fresh and flavorful gelato. I had a peanut + chocolate craving so I mixed them. Very foot as always. A UW student was working and she did a great job welcoming us and letting us try multiple flavors until we got the right one.

A simple creamy gelato dessert as me and my partner trek the Seattle streets for some fun and wonder! We ended up encountering this lovely establishment after visiting the underground troll statue. Does anyone have the story for why Seattle has dedicated a random troll statue under a bridge? Or is it some natural moment that the city pined as a tourist spot? Lol. Either way, it was great to get some dessert and especially at the Fainting Goat! Such a unique name for a quaint gelato shop and the flavors are quite unique and delicious! We ended up getting two fruity flavors--mine being lemon and my partners being some kind of red berry. Both were so good! The lady that had helped us was nice and provided plenty of samples for us to try. A lovely way to sweeten our day in 60s/70s weather which I wish CA had during the summer, lol.

Great place by the bus stop. They have great variety of flavors and had about 5 flavor of sorbet (vegan/dairy free) for the scoops. The service was great and the place has great music.

Pistachio gelato was the best and the mango sorbet.

The staff person was so nice and helpful. I do wish the gelato tasted more like gelato (since we were just in Italy last spring and was comparing a bit). We got the pistachio gelato and the mango sorbet. Both were the best options of what we sampled. The seating is odd so I'm guessing when it's busy people stand outside with it since not that many people can fit inside.

This Fainting Goat location is in Fremont. There is one more in Wallingford. We have walked by many times, and we finally decided to try it (after we had long walks to earn the calories). This location is skinny and narrow. The few tables were occupied. Since we were the only customers ordering, we took our time choosing our flavors. The staff was very patient giving us samples. While hubby quickly chose his two, I had a more difficult time choosing my second flavor. Several samples were just too sweet. In any case, still no line behind me, so I asked for a couple more and suddenly found my second. Woot! Anyway, hubby chose chocolate and blueberry & pomegranate, while I chose chocolate and pistachio. The chocolate is FANTASTIC if you are a dark chocolate person. So good! But I knew I needed another flavor to go with it. The pistachio was the perfect complement. I probably would not drive there just to eat their gelato. But if I am in the area, I definitely would enjoy these gelato treats!

She had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, so this was the perfect opportunity. The café itself is bright, modern, and absolutely adorable. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax over dessert with family or friends. The menu is a dream for matcha and hojicha lovers. They offer an impressive variety of parfaits, floats, frappes, and lattes, with optional additions like mochi and red beans. It took us a while to decide because everything looked tempting. My daughter and I shared the Hojicha Mochi Parfait, while my son ordered the Hojicha Float with mochi. The parfait had a rich, authentic hojicha flavor and was generously layered with chewy mochi, crunchy cereal flakes, and creamy soft serve, giving it a wonderful mix of textures. The float was equally enjoyable, with a bold roasted hojicha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the mochi was a fun addition. The quality of the desserts was excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality of the ingredients and presentation. If you're a fan of matcha or hojicha, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

The soup was really amazing. I don't often like tomato soup but this was the exception. Chunks of tomato and a full flavor without a lot of spices. The crème brûlée was warmed and freshly caramelized on top. This is not made in advance and just refrigerated which seems to be more common these days. The hot chocolate hit the spot! Options for no -dairy alternatives were offered which I almost forgot to ask. Liked the atmosphere, spacious and high ceilings. The staff was very friendly and nice.
