05/24/2026 My friend and I had dinner nearby and had to stop here because of the name! The inside was fairly small, but there was no line. The server was very friendly and patient. I sampled a few flavors before deciding on Pistachio and Tiramisu, split in a small cup. The texture was creamy, though not as dense as I'm used to with gelato. It was still very enjoyable!

I adore this place! Great gelato - I love trying their new flavors and the workers are so nice!! Great place to stop if you're walking around Lake Union or just want somewhere to escape the heat for a bit while in Fremont. The seating indoors is limited since it's a small shop but they have outdoor seating too which is nice!!

Great location right in the heart of Fremont. The gelato was excellent and they have to-go pints in the freezer as well. If I lived closer, I would come more often. There are a few tables inside and a few outside as well.

After walking around Fremont, dessert is earned! Convenient location near the waterfront, Sunday market, and many restaurants. No washroom, had another group come in to ask about restrooms. Nearest is PCC. Kind worker, was energetic and happy to help. There's an alright amount of seating inside, nothing too crazy. Goat Milk - super soft and fluffy, like a cloud. Creamy! Flavor is like a sweetened milk, which I definitely recommend. Plus the name of the shop is around goats, so the flavor kind of serves as a specialty. Stracciatella - a classic stracciatella, one of my go to flavors at gelato spots! Like the gelato version of chocolate chip, these finely shaven chocolate bits melt easier with less surface area and blend into the cream. Typically it's a sweet cream flavor, which I believe to hold true here. Perfect for added texture, if desired.

I think the customer service is lacking, I feel as if it is a chew you out and spit you out environment, but the ice cream is okay.

Great gelato! The person working the counter was really nice and let us try samples and made great conversation! The ambiance was certainly unique in its fainting goat deco. Its got great gelato even compared to Italy's gelatarias!

Very yummy treat. The Chocolate fondente flavor was very rich and flavorful! The salted caramel tasted a bit plain to us. The young women working was kind and efficient (being as she was the only one working on a busy Friday night). Plenty of seating inside.

I'm so used to small portions when it comes to buying ice cream from a shop but Fainting Goat Gelato does not disappoint. Their portions are plenty and their gelato is so good. I got a double scoop of matcha green tea and hazelnut which are both my favorites but in a gelato form. The place is very cozy and the customer service is great. Make the stop at Fainting Goat if you are craving dessert, highly recommend.

Cute little shop with good options. I tried pistachio and chocolate flavor and found it to be good. Taste was similar to other gelato places. Service was good and staff is kind.

I've had this bookmarked for a while; the name and the cute interior had always intrigued me when driving by in y bus. The sunny weekend weather and a trip to the Fremont Sunday Market brought me in. The sever was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the origin of the shop and ingredients used. I sampled a bunch before making my selection. All of them were very tasty making for a tough decision. I finally settled on the goat milk mastic combined with spicy chocolate - great combo! I loved that I was asked which flavor I wanted on the bottom- it's that last bite that lingers on the tastebuds! Go for the homemade waffle cone - sturdy, crunchy, and right amount of sweetness. Also, the team will cheerfully hand pack a pint to go if your desired flavor isn't already in the cooler.

The pistachio flavor was rich, creamy, and delicious. The chocolate fondente was also creamy and delicious. It tasted kind of like a chocolate mousse, however it was a bit too sweet for me. A couple other flavors we sampled (Mexican vanilla bean and coconut) were a little icy in texture. They have a few tables inside and outside of the store.

Hanging out with my daughter for post dinner dessert in Fremont. The fainting goat is always a good spot. Fresh and flavorful gelato. I had a peanut + chocolate craving so I mixed them. Very foot as always. A UW student was working and she did a great job welcoming us and letting us try multiple flavors until we got the right one.

A simple creamy gelato dessert as me and my partner trek the Seattle streets for some fun and wonder! We ended up encountering this lovely establishment after visiting the underground troll statue. Does anyone have the story for why Seattle has dedicated a random troll statue under a bridge? Or is it some natural moment that the city pined as a tourist spot? Lol. Either way, it was great to get some dessert and especially at the Fainting Goat! Such a unique name for a quaint gelato shop and the flavors are quite unique and delicious! We ended up getting two fruity flavors--mine being lemon and my partners being some kind of red berry. Both were so good! The lady that had helped us was nice and provided plenty of samples for us to try. A lovely way to sweeten our day in 60s/70s weather which I wish CA had during the summer, lol.

We got a matcha float with mochi and a hojicha float with mochi. We love the hojicha better. The matcha is prob one of the better I've tasted, but not often you can find hojicha ice cream and milk tea. It was creamy and mildly sweet. So good, refreshing and satisfying! The mochi were ok. It was very bland and not sweet at all. I do prefer my mochi to have a little sweetness to them, like a sweet bite. This was like chewing a bigger non sweet boba ball. So I'd pass on the mochi here and maybe do all ice cream. If ever we're in Seattle would visit again. Update: we came here a few yrs later. The drinks were still good as ever. My husband got a frappe and loved it. We had a salmon bowl which was decent. Not something I would order again here but we were so hungry from traveling and meeting friends, we needed some food. This time no line out the door. We got a seat inside. We came in June this yr, nice weather outside but inside was super hot as they did not run the AC. They had the windows/doors open but no breeze and mosquitos were inside attacking. I can't imagine a good breeze when the cafe is wedged btw two huge buildings. It made our visit this time very stifling.

This comes in a very large cup, with layers of matcha ice cream, cornflakes, vanilla whippedd cream, and mochi at the bottom. I'll be honest that the matcha ice cream wasn't my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of matcha in general, but I have had examples where the sweetness balances with the earthiness better - and this felt like it leaned too much into the earthiness side of it. It just tasted off when mixed with everything else. What was exceptional, though, was the second and third layers. Mixing the cornflakes with the vanilla whipped cream/yogurt layer was awesome. The crunchy texture provided with the creamy vanilla flavor really worked - and it felt like what the essence of a parfait is with the textural and flavor contrast. I think I would've liked this a lot more if the top had been vanilla ice cream instead - submitting a request to have that as an option on the menu. This was pretty expensive. It cost 14 dollars for a single parfait. That's just a crazy amount. I know it's pretty big, but it's simply overpriced. Overall, it's a decent but not very practical dessert. 5.5/10

We got two chicken sandwiches - original and southern bird (a bit spicy). Both delicious and generous servings, but also be warned they're messy to eat! They cut them in half for us so they were easy to share. Much appreciated. Also got strips (comes with curly fries and your choice of two sauces). And an extra order of curly fries that def wasn't necessary for our fam of 4 (2 adults, 4 yr old, and 2 yr old). I got a white peach sangria slushie, too. Not the biggest serving, but tasty! All that ran me just over $70 including tax and small tip as of July 2026. Not a bad deal, and we came home with leftovers!

It 100% lives up to the hype- amazing double fried chicken sandwiches and even more amazing ice cream! I love the different variations of chicken sandwiches they have. We tried the original which had their delicious herbaceous green sauce/aioli and the Homer which tasted so fresh with the veggies and whipped garlic sauce that accompany the fried chicken. The curly fries are a must if you're here & looking for a savory snack. The ice cream is a must, too! We particularly loved the seasonal miso caramel and wish it wasn't only seasonal. There was a line out the door when we went on a weeknight, so I imagine a line is to be expected when you come by, but it moves very quickly as you order at the counter. You'll wait for the ice cream at the counter but if dining in, they'll bring the food when it's ready. I personally didn't mind having dessert first! There's some indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Super casual vibes. Service is pretty quick overall. And we love the convenience that it's right by the light rail station.
