Kalani Organica Coffee checked all the boxes so we set out to give it a try. The business is not easily identifiable as the building is unmarked and nondescript. The owner spent a generous amount of time talking with us and sharing his knowledge. He's so passionate about what he does, it's infectious. Though the location is not a coffee house - they are wholesale - the owner kindly allowed us to buy several bags of coffee. I have not made a cup yet and look forward to tasting it. I like Kalani's focus on quality, environmental impact, and keeping their operation intimate. I'm confident their coffee will be as amazing as their philosophy.
