Staff were a good vibe and the flavor selection was nice. Got the trio and did strawberry cookies and cream, strawberry beet, and passionfruit. All were pretty good and refreshing. Pricing was a little expensive for what we got.

Nice ice cream establishment. Didn't realize it was a vegan and gluten-free shop, which was a nice surprise and great for people with allergies or intolerances. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were kind and the space was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ice cream is super light and doesn't have that same heaviness or creaminess like regular ice cream has. I don't know if I like the ice cream enough to come back but have it in my back pocket in case I'm with someone that has food intolerances.

I stumbled onto this place while exploring the city and saw the crowd so I was I intrigued. Everything is dairy free so that's a plus. I tried the salted pistachio but it tasted more like almond than anything. The pineapple sangria was meh. The mint chocolate however put a smile on my face and I instantly feel in love with it. It's not too sweet, tastes refreshing and tastes really good. Not gonna lie though, this is the priciest ice cream ice ever tried. At $7.40 after tax, for a mini scoop with no cone that I can eat in 3 bites is a bit much. Eat here if you feel like splurging or if money doesn't matter to you. This is a very small place and limited seats so be prepared to eat while walking or standing around.

The best ice cream. I can't find ice cream anywhere else where I so crisply taste the individual, quality, unique ingredients in each flavor. Everything is great; anything with chaga or tahini is amazing. You can get warm cookie sundaes here, but many of the flavors include rich chunks of cookies or cake that add a perfect amount of crunch and bite as is. Can't believe everything is vegan. The manager here is so friendly and recognizes me at this point. I love Frankie & Jo's.

Time and time again Frankie & Joes delivered as some of the BEST ice cream I have ever had. The variety of monthly and seasonal flavors always brings a fun reason to go out for some ice cream. Their plant based ice cream delivers on a divine creamy texture. Many of their flavor profiles are not overly sweet and back big flavor punches. I love that you can get pints to go. Cookies to go. The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly.

This is the BEST ice cream I've had in Seattle.. and maybe anywhere. It is so creamy and flavorful. It didn't even need the waffle cone addition. The employee was so kind suggesting flavors and we got to have lots of samples. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wish there was more seating in the restaurant but honestly you're here for the ice cream and not the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please come here, it will not disappoint!! Every flavor I tried was magical and I can't wait to be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing is I wish that the bathrooms were open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

If you're a fan of interesting flavors, you'll like this one! I am a super fan of places like Salt and Straw so I had a good time here. The coconut base definitely shines through so be wary if you're not a fan of coconut. I really liked the tartness of the rhubarb yuzu though it tasted mostly like yuzu/lemon. My friend really enjoyed the strawberry milk! Service is really friendly, my only complaint is the price! The super mini size was like a sample and the price is a little aggressive for how much ice cream you get.

Seattle, Capitol Hill. July 2024. There are several ice cream shops close by on Capitol Hill. They must be supported by students from nearby Seattle U because ice cream seems to be popular in the area. This place serves plant based, vegan ice cream. It is also gluten free, soy free, gum-free, stabilizer-free. That said, you may not even care because the coconut based product is so well made. They have a three scoop flight served over broken waffle cones called a cone smash. I had a red, black, and white trio of Beet Strawberry Rose, Salty Caramel Ash, and California Cabin. The Calofornia Cabin is a vanilla and pine ice cream with black pepper cardamon shortbread cookies - holy smokes it was good! Of all the ice cream choices on Capitol Hill I enjoyed this place the best because of the great tasting creative flavors and friendly servers. I definitely want to come back next time I'm in the city.

Favorite ice cream shop in Seattle! They're all vegan and gluten free and have so many unique flavors. Sometimes the coconut flavor can be overwhelming so be sure to try before you commit. A little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

It's incredible how good the coconut milk based ice cream is. Creamy. Unique flavor. Not too sweet. I had the salted pistachio and it didn't disappoint. For someone who is lactose intolerant, I can enjoy without worrying about my stomach.

I don't typically eat sweets that often but when I do I crave something bussin and Frankie & Jo's was indeed bussin If you're looking for good quality ice cream, this is definitely the spot. It's also insane how all their flavors are vegan friendly. Not to mention how welcoming the staff are. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place gives lofi vibes[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The one downside is that small ass cup was $8.50 and I demolished that joint in like less than 5 mins but either way shit was worth it. I would recommend this spot to anyone that's craving something sweet

Miso Moon (seasonal, best flavor they make imo) in a cone

Best ice cream in Seattle. It's all vegan, but it's well-loved by non-vegans as well. The other day I went out to dinner with people who aren't vegan, and one of them was like "I really want to go to frankie & jo's" and I was like "oh you don't have to do that for me bc I'm vegan" and they were like "no I have my heart set on frankie & jo's" So we went! And it was great, as always. Our scooper Gracie was hilarious and I agreed with them on all flavor opinions like, 1. Miso Moon should be a permanent year-round flavor and 2. The cardamom apple seasonal needed more apple flavor. I get a little frustrated that prices are so high these days (adding a split scoop fee grinds my gears) and you can actually sometimes get their pints for less money at Whole Foods around the corner than in the store (but a limited labor selection). Nevertheless, I will continue to go to f&j's forever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is super Instagram-worthy, very California vibes, cute wallpaper.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (Speaking of CA, my favorite year-round flavor is California Cabin.) My dad loves the cone so much sometimes he just gets it without ice cream. The first time he had it he said it was the best cone he'd ever had, I noted that it was vegan (he is not), and he repeated that it's the best cone he's ever had.

About a minute after getting my drink, I took a sip and was surprised that it was cold--not even lukewarm, but actually cold. I didn't go back to ask for a remake because there were several people in line behind me and I didn't want to wait. Instead, I ended up microwaving it when I got back to my Airbnb. The latte itself was decent and had a strong espresso flavor, but the mocha syrup was way too sweet for my taste. I think it would have been much better if it had been about half as sweet. The price was also pretty high for a 12 oz latte. The customer service was disappointing. The young woman who helped me came across as rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.

So funny. The staff is kind and is more than happy to let you sample to your heart's desire. There is seating both inside and out. I am sure on summer evenings this place is insanely busy, but on a Monday at approximately 2PM, I didn't wait in a line at all. They had fun summer flavors such as apricot crisp, blueberry cheesecake, cherry chunk, and strawberry sorbet. I tried two different flavors, and both were delicious. Both flavors were extremely creamy, even the fruity flavored ones. I started with the strawberry sorbet. It was refreshing. The strawberry really shined through and was extremely fresh tasting. I feel like strawberry flavoring can sometimes come off as artificial, but I did not have that experience with this ice cream. The second flavor I sample, and my favorite one of the day was the honey lavender. It felt like you were walking through an organic lavender field. As always, cities have expensive ice cream, but I am just a girl, so I will get a sweet treat.
