On Friday, my car was making an unfamiliar noise. I was worried it was about to break down. I was worried it was going to be expensive. I was worried some mechanic would take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I didn't know any professional mechanics and I didn't know who to ask. Fair Auto Repair had excellent Yelp reviews. You can believe them. I made an appointment for Monday morning. They looked at it right away, took it for a drive, then had me go with them to confirm we were hearing the same thing. Then they fixed it. It was a relief to get a straightforward prognosis, a reasonable estimate(!), and a full explanation of what was wrong. My car was ready when they said it would be. I highly recommend them and couldn't be more pleased to have a mechanic I can trust I wrote this several years ago and here I am with a different car that I had to bring in because something that wasn't my air conditioner was leaving a greasy puddle. I don't know about this place anymore. I might wana take my review back. It hasn't even been a month since I got an oil change and I have to add more oil to my engine: I also got 2 tires replaced from them 1 in the back and 1 in the front and now my suspension and alignment is messed up on my car. Also my coolant light came on after getting services by then and that light has never came on either. When I went to get a on all these new findings the owner kinda brushed me off. But we'll see.
