Pole beans in a spicy soy glaze.

We live within walking distance but have not been back here for a year until today. Had an amazing lunch of pole beans and shrimp. My husband had a delicious sausage on a bed of pickled onions. Apparently there is a new chef. Food was amazing. As before, friendly service and fun vibe. Now food to match.

Lovely atmosphere, good service and fresh food. Liked the fish and chips, and appreciated that the bartender didn't bat an eye when I ordered a nonalcoholic drink. Will be back!

This place was such a great overall vibe. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, they also had a mini arcade in the back which I enjoyed. I noticed the kids around us really liked that part of the restaurant. It was a very modern vibe and extremely clean which I appreciated, since my boyfriend and I were visiting the town and new to the area. The nachos came loaded with tender chicken, fresh guacamole, pico, and sour cream, making them a perfect shareable starter. They were flavorful and satisfying without feeling too heavy, we did finish the entire plate since this was our post hike meal. Ciders were good too, they didn't taste flat which we appreciated. The burgers were also very good but the only downside was that the side of fries felt a little small, especially compared to the size of the burger, but they were crispy and seasoned well (garlic fries were elite, recommend over the regular fries).

Bad produce on Green Goddess Salad

Green Goddess salad- $18. Cukes and lettuce were rotten. Showed hostess since server had disappeared ( only 2 tables occupied) and her response was, "What's the problem?

If your are unsure where to start with this menu I recommend the Grilled Ahi Tuna Burger! It was unbelievably delicious and once I took a bite I could not stop. All the flavors worked so well together and I was worried that wasabi aioli would be spicy (duh wasabi!!) but it was perfect amount. The ambiance was really rustic and industrial and I sat outside to take advantage of the great weather. The server was great and super friendly which I appreciated as I had never been here before. If you get anything from this review, get the Brazilian Lemonade! It was so refreshing and everything you look for in a Brazilian Lemonade and I had to resist chugging it. I still think about lol

Fairfax Brew Co is just consistently excellent: amazing food, incredible beer, friendly+professional service, and a really nice and inviting environment -- all at really reasonable prices. Whoever is brewing their beer is absolutely world class. The IPAs and pilsners are as good as I've had anywhere. The Tamalpais Tripel was magic. The food selection is similarly pro: the Korean BBQ wings special were unreal. The salads were excellent. Mains like the fish tacos or steak were way beyond any brew-pub food. And the offerings for the kids were perfect. There's also a great arcade backroom for the little ones (and little ones at heart!) that kept us entertained before and after our meal. The staff strikes the perfect balance of being attentive but giving space. Watching the sun set from the outside space was otherworldly. FBC makes me feel like I've been invited into some brewpub amusement park that's got everything I could ever want -- and some things I had no idea I'd like. If I could give it six stars, I would.

Didn't eat here yet. But very clean and super nice redo of previous brewery places in the same location. The service and ambiance is very nice. I've never sat in a more comfortable bar seat. And a not-so-secret Protip - There are two Skee-Ball machines by the bathroom!

My wife and I stopped here for a layover meal while training for the ALC. We didn't want to eat too much because we had to bike back to SF on our full tummies! We settled on the fried fish tacos (come with the two), and the crab roll. Little did we know-the tacos came with the most delicious Baja side salad ever! Seriously, it was so good! It had jicama! It was tossed perfectly in a sublime semi sweet dressing! The lettuce was fresh and full of watery crunch, my goodness! Best side salad ever. The fish tacos were excellent too! Fried, crunchy, hot! Filling. The crab roll was super good too, the spicy aioli had some zing to it. Overall we loved our experience here. Oh yea, that the sweet waiter that called us (and probably everyone) "babe" was super nice too!! Very welcoming experience, thank you sweet waiter! Will definitely be back.

We're so glad we tried this new brewery in Marin County! The beer is amazing, we tried the Laser Coyote hazy ipa and Tamalpais triple and we did an order of salmon tacos and fried chicken sandwich (this is the best!). All the people working here are so polite and amazing. I really recommend this place for sure.

I used to frequent Iron Springs often and was sad hearing they were closing. When Fairfax Brewing Company appeared as a suggestion on Yelp, I knew I had to visit. Much of the beautiful charm of Iron Springs continues with Fairfax Brewing Company, and many other aspects are elevated and improved. I definitely enjoyed the food and beer options at Fairfax Brewing Company. Portions are generous, taste good and the staff very professional and helpful. Christian was awesome and Aaron was great. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

    Huge selection of craft beers!

Beer and food was decent but not worth the price. The noodle dish was like $26 and that was without spending extra for meat.

The tomato and basil pizza was burnt so badly that it was inedible. It was beyond horrible. Yet, it was boxed and sealed and we were charged for it. The meat one was charred on one side and raw on the other. It wasn't edible. The wedge salad was whole and mostly iceberg lettuce with some tomato and one tub of ranch dressing. The house salad had onions, which we specifically asked be omitted when we ordered. The dressing was supposed to be on the side, but had spilled out. Things they couldn't control but didn't help: cars were parked in the loading area. There was no other parking and we had to park three blocks away and walk there and back. Since there's no way to check the order there, by the time I walked with the food knowing that house guests were waiting, and my husband was very ill, I just drove home. I could have walked back, waited another hour and hoped for less horrible food?

It's inside a mall, and I did not see any directories to point the way. Once we found it and sat down, I noticed the sign telling us to scan the QR code on the table to order. Honestly, that almost sent me right back out the door. I wanted an actual menu, not a tiny phone screen with lots of scrolling and submenus, especially since I had questions about the food. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled. The two people working the front were both very pleasant, answered my questions, and made the whole experience feel much more welcoming. They had a decent IPA selection and a variety of bar foods (pizza, wings, appetizers). We ordered the arancini, fried cauliflower, and a pizza. The fried cauliflower was the surprise hit for me, especially with the garlic aioli. The arancini and pizza were also very good. The QR ordering setup still feels more frustrating than inviting, but the friendly service and surprisingly good food turned things around. In the end, I left glad that I stayed.

Booking was easy to do online, and the owner Rob answered questions that I asked via email. Last Saturday, I showed up with 8 boys to celebrate my son's birthday, and the group had a blast. The party was mid-morning, and I appreciated how quiet the venue was. Some arcades have music that is blasting and so many lights flashing, and that can be overly stimulating. There are plenty of machines for guests to spread out. In the back, there are 4 controllers for Nintendo Switch, and the staff did have to come help change games for the kiddos but if you know what you're doing, you might be able to navigate on your own. Ordering pizza from Red Rooster was really easy, and the staff at Pixels even walked over to pick up the pizza for the party. So thoughtful! Throughout the 2 hours there, there were other families who came in to enjoy the arcade, as well as adults. 2 hours goes by so quickly! All the parents whose kids attended said their kiddos had a blast. Great place for a birthday party, young and old :) The dads are now talking about gathering again without the kids! Quick logistics: A single use bathroom is at the back of the space. Bring cash for tips or you can tip with card payment. Parking in the lot is free on weekends, otherwise pay for metered street marking Monday - Saturday.

In comparison to the pinball museum, Pixels had more video games and I think it fit our interests more. We each got a drink from the place, the kids picked out soft drink / juice, and the husband and I each got an alcohol beverage. I like that there were many local brews they are serving. I like the idea of supporting local businesses. My son was a little shy to go play the video game station set up with gaming chairs. But we pretty much tried all the other free games. There are a few machines not included in the package cost, they are clearly labeled and close to the entrance, you will need cash coins to play those, if you want to play them. The bathroom was clean. There were so many bottles of anti-bacterial solutions lining up near the entrance and inside the facility. I'm a bit of a clean freak after the Covid-19 pandemic, so seeing this made me happy that the owner cares about protecting people. We spent about 3 hours here. I saw some lady some in with a bunch of kids. It was kind of interesting to watch them because she was working on her laptop while the kids ran around and played games. It's like a cheap daycare! I wish the had one of these arcades closer to where I live, I can just let my kids loose while I do my own thing for a couple hours!
