This place is a value! It's clean, comfortable and well maintained. It's been renovated and the owners clearly care for the place. They price is reasonable and better than most places. Cheaper hotels had much fewer stars. Staff went out of their way to speak to us and make sure our needs were met. Coffee and hot chocolate were available at all times. Woke up in the middle of the night getting bitten by bedbugs. Manager was dismissive, claimed to have processed a refund when no such refund was processed and insisted we wait for owner. Owner claimed he was going to bring in an entomologist (photos of bedbugs attached), and went on to threaten physical assault if we didn't leave his business. Avoid at all costs. Unless you want a sad, angry, unprofessional man to attempt to verbally intimidate you. read more

Nothing super special, just a nice looking room with comfortable beds. Tv is tiny, no mini fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. Just a no frills place to get a good nights sleep. The name says it all - nothing fancy, but it's an affordable option close to the interstate. There isn't a microwave, mini fridge, or coffee maker in the rooms. Down the hall they do have a microwave and fresh coffee that was actually pretty tasty. I'd bring your own toiletries unless you want to use the wall-mounted Dial shampoo and body wash dispensers (no conditioner.) We ate on the way before checking in because the restaurant options nearby are pretty limited. I was glad we booked in advance - they had no vacancy the Wednesday evening we stayed. read more

Great Price, Clean, Friendly Staff The guy at the front desk was friendly when we checked in, good sense of humor. I think the woman in the morning might have been the manager and she was super friendly too... Just celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary! We had a nice 1 night stay here and I feel some yelpers have judged this place a bit harshly. When I review the Hilton I use standards appropriate for my $350-$550 a night stay and those expectations. When I get a great deal on something around $100 I say thank you and appreciate things even more. That being said, this place was clean, staff was polite, everything was actually really great! This isn't the Ritz Carlton at all, but when you are on a road trip and get tired this place is not expensive, has good service and gives you a needed night of sleep. The breakfast is some oatmeal and coffee... It is what it is at that price... Lol... I didn't use the pool or much other than the room, I'm not even sure if there is one. This isn't a 5-star hotel but in my book it should be. Specifically picked it because it's pet friendly and I'm traveling with two little-old-man felines. The room was exceptionally clean, had nice towels, a great staff, and was a little off the beaten path so it was very quiet. It recently reverted to independent status and is now called Rocker Inn. With the new status came a new policy that doesn't allow locals to stay there, which means no hookers, no tweakers, and no hook-ups. And it doesn't hurt that it's around the corner from the big Exxon station where I paid only $4.08/gallon for gasoline. Highly, highly recommended ! read more

Older motel but newly remodeled. Super cute and cozy. With how many vehicles outside you know it's busy but the room we were in was nice and quite. The tv is a little small for the room but that was fine. Comfy beds, AC was easy to use and figure out. Definitely a good place to spend the night between to days of driving! read more

Our Room had old carpet (as did the hallway), a stained bedspread, and smelled strongly of an awful cleaning solution. The management seems to think they are offering a value for the area -- I disagree. This location is 4 miles out of town, so if you want anything decent to eat (other than McD's or Subway), you have to drive. I would not stay here again. read more

I walked in and found desk clerk passed out on couch to side of desk. Nudging didn't wake her. After I rang the bell she finally woke up and reeked of alcohol. For the first minute or two she was incoherent and speech was unintelligible. I asked questions about the room but she didn't answer. I went to the room and was completely disgusted. The room stunk and the bed was flimsy with springs poking through. Carpet and couch were stained. The room was so small and the bed was literally two feet away from the tiny bathroom/toilet. When I went back to ask if there was another room the clerk rudely said no, and gave me a take it or leave it type of comment. Needless to say I left it. Even though I was unable to get a refund and had to drive until 3:00 am to find another room I have no regrets about leaving America's Best Value Inn in Butte, and I'll never stay at another ABV hotel again. read more

Seriously impressed with the overall cleanliness in my room, and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I did mark a star off for the fact that the beds are pretty old, and like most all beds, are only slightly more comfortable than a bed of bricks. I so enjoyed my stay here. It was during that fucking eclipse so everyone else jacked up their prices despite Butte not being "in the path of totality" of that fucking eclipse. I wish I had noted the name of the awesome and humorous fellow at reception. He was so personable and great in the weirdest crusty way. Sure it was a bit dumpy - it's a motel - but I felt safe and comfortable. The room was clean, wifi sorta worked, and the TV was fine despite limited channel selections. Have you ever noticed that the more money you spend to just sleep the night the more things you expect? We are sick and tired of spending $150 + per night just to listen to the neighbors tv or their shower or their arguments or... you get the idea. Here, the people were quiet. They went to the room, had a quick bang and went to sleep. In the morning, they left, without any idling of their diesels for 30 minutes at 5:30 in the morning. Besides, no one makes better coffee. We embarked on a road trip from California to Wisconsin and back. After ending up in Yellowstone 4th of July weekend- no hotels/motels were available in a hundred miles radius except one place with one room left for $175. We decided to drive into Butte, MT and try there. Saw a bill board for this place with $45 a night rooms. Decided it sounded a little fishy so went to Motel 6 across the freeway first. They were $70 a night so went back here. We have a 10 month old learning to walk so clean rooms are important. The staff were very nice and personable and the room was the cleanest we stayed at during our entire trip even compared to pricier motels. We would stay here again for sure if we are driving through. read more

I made reservations online for Saturday night, so I could spend Mothers day with my friend that is fighting cancer. I went to check in and they had let someone else check into my room, because they had the same last name. I am not sure how that happens since it was under MY name and ONLY my name and I had to give my ID to check in. They were completely booked so at 10:30pm, I was told "I fucked up. Sorry, we don't have a room for you." I asked if I was liable for any damages this other person does to the room since it was STILL in my name, with my CC. I was told "he seems like a nice guy so I don't think he will damage anything." Not only did I have to drive home that night, getting home at 3 am, ALL of my mothers day plans were completely ruined! I was told the manager would call me the following morning....5 days later, no call. No apology, no offer to rectify the situation just a "I fucked up"! LITERALLY his words!! Thank you America's Worst for absolutely NOTHING and for ruining Mothers Day plans for me and my VERY ill friend!! read more

The room wasn't too bad. It was VERY spacious but the tv had a poor picture and the toilet filled all the way up before draining. Anyone who has ever overflown a toilet before is in for some serious anxiety. The water stayed mostly hot for the duration of the shower. all the doors have actual key locks instead of cards so you're carrying something a little bulkier but harder to lose in my opinion. The bed was adequate and I got a decent sleep. No breakfast but coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available 24/7 in the lobby. read more

The best Americas Best Value Inn I've ever stayed in, and I am the king of budget traveling. Some ABVI's are pretty bad but this one was a pleasant surprise, room seemed rather recently remodeled, was attractive and comfortable and everything worked. And at $51 it was a great deal, including wifi. They advertise the price on freeway billboard west of town. In my experience when a motel advertises their price, they are likely the least expensive place around. A welcome and pleasant change from the ridiculous lodging prices that seem to pass for normal these days. read more

During the Folk Festival week, rooms are scarce. We were stuck at this location but accepted that we couldn't do better. It has been money wasted. I should have slept in my car for more rest and less noise! We were placed in room 202, located directly over the bar. Every time someone either walked in or out, the doors bounced, thump thump thumping. Either patrons or employees repeatedly walked outside for a smoke, to yammer at each other under the open window of the stuffy, musty room, adding to the gruesome stay. Unfortunately, I have no hope of sleeping tonight because it's now past 2 am and the swingin' bar doors haven't stopped their thumping. Of course, I'll have a loud conversation with a manager tomorrow, but for now I'm dreaming of sleeping under the security lights of the parking lots in the quiet of my car. Avoid this place and wish me luck finding somewhere with fewer cackling drunks so that I may get some sleep before my all-day drive to Seattle. read more
