Walk in the room pull the covers and there was pubes on the bed along with white stuff. You can put to and to together. The room is tiny and everything is cramped up. A Policy that has no check-in charges in place. Front desk has charges printed on a piece of in regards to check-in charges before 3:PM. Which is not in their written policy. My room on the 3rd floor has roof tiles that have water marks by the restroom that was leaking in the floor. They knew about that but I didn't see any efforts in that direction. Never again will I be staying here. I have been staying at this place twice per month and they don't keep any history in their system. Every time is a first time. I arrived at 2:50pm and checking is at 3pm. They asked for a $25 dollars early check in fee. They would t even waived it, only being 10 mins early. We checked into our room on the second floor, and while the room was okay, it smelled strongly of cigarette. An hour into being in our room we went out into the hallway and there was a homeless man sleeping a few feet away on the ground. We called the front to report it and got a "we"ll check it out". While waiting to see if they would come, ANOTHER homeless person walked in through the emergency exit that was right in front of our door walked back and forth a few times and left through the same exit. We waited for about 30 minutes for someone to come get the homeless guy but no one ever came. We didn't want to pass the homeless guy on the ground so we went out the same exit the other homeless guy had gone out and saw that the key lock on the outside was completely broken off, allowing anyone from outside to come in. We informed the guy at the front again about the homeless guy and the that the lock was broken off and he said "I have to put in a request for maintenance and wait" , seemingly not caring at all. My review would have been better had ANY of the three people I reached out to bothered to respond to my multiple requests to speak to someone about my stay. Who did I reach out to? The front desk manager, three times (left a message with the front desk, and sent two emails to forward to her); the GM, Mohammad Haque; and the CEO, Ron Pitamber.* During my stay (and despite all of the issues which arose) I had adequate customer service. But once my stay was complete, and I asked to discuss my stay, they went silent, as if I no longer mattered. And maybe it's true- they're always booked up quickly (because they're one of the cheaper places in the area). Maybe they don't HAVE to be nice to customers, because there are five more to take our place. But is this the world we want to live in? A world where customers don't matter to anyone in the company- including the GM or the CEO? I don't want to give my hard earned money to an organization who doesn't see value in me, and who isn't interested in continuing to provide service to its customers. Very fair price. The hotel is old, but clean. Very pleasant staff and there's a very basic restaurant in the parking lot that has wonderful margaritas. Unfortunately, the remote in my room did not work, so I watched my IPad, which I would have done anyway and the thermostat did not work, so I was hot all night! They have a free breakfast in the morning which included prepackaged bagel, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. This isn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in... but you can definitely do better. I was in for a very quick business trip to Mo Valley. I found this place on Priceline for about $70 and I was swayed by the "Wyndham" affiliation and the free breakfast. You should not be like me. This is in the not-great section of town. They have lots of policies about deposits and not accepting cash and all of these signs at the front desk are red flags. More red flags - as I walked to my room, it became clear that a business is operating out of several hotel rooms on the second floor. They even have "Welcome" signs on the door. I'm guessing they're some sort of MLM/door-to-door sales-type operations? But it's weird that they're just working right there in the hall of the hotel. The room is OK. It's nothing fancy. The furniture seems to not go together and there is a lot of it but the room is functional. While not fancy, everything seemed clean and the WiFi was decent and free. The "breakfast" in the morning is an odd set up where you walk up to a table and can take a yogurt or granola bar. No coffee. Although there is an entire area dedicated to coffee in the lobby with signage. But still, not coffee anywhere. So that's also weird. This actually COULD be a decent place. There is an interesting sitting area up the winding staircase (there is also an elevator) and they could offer coffee and flavored waters and even a real breakfast. But right now, it's walking the line between advertising as a nicer place while operating as a slightly sketchy motel/SRO. read more

Upon entering the hotel, I noticed that the lobby had a smoky smell. Was surprised to be charged $150 holding feel for incidentals which is high considering I've bad less when staying in Vegas ($100 holding fee.) When pressing the button for the elevator to arrive, it took five minutes for it to arrive and not all the elevator floor buttons lit up when standing inside the elevator. Upon entering the hotel room, I noticed that the beds were elevated (which I liked,) there was dresser drawers available for me to store my clothes in, and the room also has a microwave as well as a fridge to store food. Negatives regarding the room is that the bathroom was tiny, the furniture was chipped, the bathtub floor mat was stained, the lamp was a little dusty, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, the toilet sometimes wouldn't completely flush unless flushed multiple times, and the chairs were faded. As someone who likes to exercise, I was extremely annoyed because the fitness center was out of order. Although the fitness center is closed, the pool is open but the jacuzzi is closed. A guest laundry room is available however you have to download an app to use it and the laundry room doesn't open until 9am. There is a Bitcoin currency converter machine in the hotel lobby as well which I found an interesting addition to this hotel. We were confused as to why our hotel room was left dirty although we didn't have the "do not disturb" sign on the door and we saw the housekeeper down the hall outside the hotel room. Husband was later informed that housekeeping staff don't clean the room until after guests check out of the room. When we had an issue with a dimmed light bulb in the bathroom, we appreciated that the hotel staff quickly resolved the issue and replaced the light bulb. The hotel also offers breakfast which is available from 7am-8am and consists of a piece of fruit, oatmeal or cereal, granola bar or mini muffins, apple or orange juice and milk. Given the dilapidated state of the hotel room, the sporadic housekeeping services, and the lack of fitness center access, this hotel is definitely worth no more than $70 a night. read more

Facilities are among the worst I've ever seen. The pool and workout room were closed. Paper notices were taped all over the building informed us that outside-entry doors might not work due to lack of parts--in fact, those doors were NOT LOCKED. Ice machine was out of order. In the room, the bathroom fan did not work; wall-mounted hair dryer did not work; in-room telephone did not work; and one wall outlet in the bathroom did not work (though they did repair that during our stay). Breakfast was the perfectly ordinary no-kitchen assortment: bagels, packaged sandwiches, fruit. BUT it was not self-serve; they had an employee doling them out, one of each item to each guest. I went inside to get the room and was told i had to pay a deposit that I did not have so I asked if they could cancel and I was told they would cancel it. We got there and asked if there was a bell cart to help us load our luggage twice and the front desk people both said "i have no idea where it is" and apparently that's their only single bell cart. The only negative is that they advertised breakfast, and when we got down there in the morning, it was literally a young lady who was very nice, but making us choose between one thing or another and then packing it into a brown paper bag. It was booked by my company so I get to stay here for 10 days. Let just say it was a trip, I came to check in at around 9 PM, Abul the employee at the tiMe told me to swipe my credit card because they required a $150 deposit, and as I learned my lesson from last time, I did ask if I could give the guy cash and just hand me the receipt, but he refused and said too much hassles which I didn't quite understand at first, then I realized they stopped serving full dine in breakfast only grab and go which was a turn off for me. Then as I arrived to my room, I realized the weird design of big entertainment cabinets which probably existed since the boob tube got invented or was it some kind of altar I had no clue, but the very little lighting in the room, both night stands had different design shapes, no toothpaste or toothbrush, so I called and the guy on the phone said he couldn't bring it to me because he was the only one at the front. So I came out again, I asked for toothpaste and he gave me just one, so I asked him if he could give me more, he gave me another one, that was it, but I am going to stay here for 10 days, wow, luckily Abul came to the rescue and gave me some more plus mouth wash. I did bring up the $150 deposit and hoping he could give me some explanation, so he told me right now there was no housekeeping at night, and if someone decided to check out early, and they give him cash, meaning when they leave, and no housekeeping, it would not hold that person accountable for any damages in the room, so rather take cash, they would charge on the credit card. So now things started to make sense. Over the period of 10 days staying here, I had experience a lot of noise from upstairs in the middle of the night, random people who was high on drugs hanging out by the door claiming the had a room here and that they were just smoking outside and left a box to hold the door without the key, the place was super shady. So it would be best to stay in my room at night after work, I am glad the Do Not Disturb sign work, because no housekeeping inside my room for 10 days unlike the other hotel I was staying, they forced me to let them come in to clean. I did a bit digging I found out the hotel used to have the best breakfast menu with rice, eggs, and many more items, so sad they stopped doing it, I only came once to get some yogurts, get to speak with the employee there, she said they planned to remodel and reopen again, hopefully soon. Lastly I didn't see any charges on my credit card nor it went back, but til this day it remained a mystery whether or not they did charge me $150 deposit :) PS: the magnet from the room key works the entire 10 days, not once I get to come to the front and ask to be rekey. read more

BED BUGS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The desk clerk was extremely rude when I reported that I discovered bed bugs. I called the security guard on duty to go with me to verify. When he lifted up the mattress, we discovered a full-on infestation crawling everywhere. I almost threw up. And when I went down to the front desk to asked for a refund, he instructed me to call Priceline who I booked the reservation through. Priceline immediately called him to verify (with me standing right there). He proceeded to tell her that it was a clean room when I got there, and I must have brought the bed bugs. When I confronted him about lying, he told me that nothing would make me happy and I should just leave immediately. I don't know why he would lie about something that even their staff verified with me. Long story short, don't stay here or at least check the mattress and furniture before setting anything down here. Booked this hotel based on Yelp recommendations. The staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed with a variety of pillows, a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave. Ask for a room that doesn't have the Brunswick Entertainment Center outside the window. Even from the 3rd floor it was super noisy. Also, the doors are very heavy and slam. This went all at all hours. Bring earplugs! The included breakfast was decent. So, 4 stars because of the noise. read more

Had a lengthy conversation with the hotel staff who told me that the new owners want to make this into an upscale hotel. I have some suggestions... 1. First of all, making your front desk staff charge .20 cents per page to print things out for customers reads like a joke. By the time they have collected and logged the purchase, it has cost far more than what was collected. It should be a courtesy. At least internet is free. 2. Finish the stairs. There is no carpet, and the bare wood is showing. 3. Offer a decent breakfast if you say there is a "breakfast buffet." Offer some upscale breakfast items like croissants, fancy yogurts and the like if you can't have the hot breakfast you once had. Also, having photos on your advertising of a really amazing breakfast buffet which you don't have is false advertising. 4. Refresh the paint 5. Give the landscaping the attention it needs. 6. Break out a bottle of 409 to clean walls with grease stains from where people touch. 7. Disassociate yourself with Wyndham. I can't think of a single hotel brand which Wyndham hasn't run into the ground or left ailing - particularly Howard Johnson's. 8. Revamp/rebuild the pool. Luxe properties have luxe pools. read more

In the morning they start breakfast for FREE at around 6:30 or 7:00 AM. You have to wake up early to get some food. Breakfast does go quick. They serve eggs, muffins, bread, yogurt, juice, and some fruit like bananas. For the rate that it is going, it really is a great hotel for the price. Bathrooms are super clean and the rooms have really comfy beds. They do have wifi, pool, and a gym. The entrance has an adorable stairway. Truly one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. First of all it was filthy...like report them to the health department filthy. Stained sheets, box springs with god knows what spilled in them, everything was in disrepair. Towels that look like rags. My photos are proof enough, but the final straw was when the already sketchy shower ceiling started leaking from above and the staff acted like it was a regular occurrence and they knew about the problem.
