Clean hotel right off the interstate. Staff were friendly, check in was quick and our room was clean. The couch was smaller than expected (more of a loveseat) so the pullout is only a twin. We stayed during the week in March, the hotel was quiet with zero noise outside or in. Breakfast was just okay. Nothing made in house looked great, so just stuck with prepackaged yogurt. 09/08/2025, I was traveling here for work and this hotel is at a great location with restaurants and highways nearby. Very clean , and the room was clean and very spacious. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice and polite , he had my room and me checked in within 3min. I would definitely stay here again when I am in town again next month. read more

SERVICE & CHECKIN Big NO on early checkin (unless you're extremely lucky), but everyone was exceedingly professionally & attentive during my wait. A much warmer vibe than most Marriotts & prompt on phone service. The welcome gift was also just what I needed: cold water & a king size Twix! No late checkout though--they sell out quick! LOBBY, ELEVATOR, CORRIDORS Jazzy tunes & a pleasing decor throughout the building; I really liked the vintage patterned halls. The cleaning standards were exemplary but their dining area could use a reupholstering. Elevators provided a good amount of space & speediness, the rickety rattling was just a tad unsettling ROOM (suite) https://youtu.be/P049-JVEoKk A lot of character in the design: Adequate natural lighting, well-positioned sleek lamps, a fun carpet pattern, & perfectly curated wallpaper. Dimensions were generously spacious (for 2) with enough hanging + drawer storage for an extended stay. A calming aesthetic that felt comfortable & familiar . The dedicated workspace setup was very productive as well. HVAC/air circulation needs improvement: there was a lingering musk/must odor & I didn't have the luxury of functional windows; AC isn't properly tuned if you find yourself freezing on 70+ . BED Double Queen configuration. This Serta line wasn't a "wow!", but it did what it's supposed to. The springs are nearing end-of-life, so support was very minimal. Bedding was clean & of fair quality: 60/40 cotton blend. Pillow fill (down) lacks loft, so you'll want to stack these for maximum comfort. BATH Medium sized bathroom featuring a stylist tile selection & clever paneling. Substantially worn in some areas but that didn't subtract from the experience. Traditional combination shower bathing experience provided with designer bath products (Alice+Co) & PLENTY of towels + toiletries. Water pressure, temperature, & ventilation were adequate. TV & ENTERTAINMENT Really unbalanced. The Samsung TV was just too small, especially for a double mattress configuration. Universal remote selection was an Enseo... the ergonomics just don't feel right to me. Basic cable & the usual Marriott Streaming integrations are available (Netflix, YouTube, etc). WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION Between good & average on carrier (Verizon) reception. Free unencrypted WiFi is available. As far as value goes...: It works. Not much more to say beyond that. --Performance-- Video streaming - bad Online gaming - poor Video chatting - poor --Nerd Stats-- 9-11 Mbps download 9-11 Mbps upload 0% packet loss 37 ms latency 69 ms jitter FOOD & DRINK DoorDash friendly. A large breakfast offering from 630-930 with a lot of convenience food offerings on site as well: mini market, artisan coffee bar. There are plenty of chain restaurants within walking distance too. In-room amenities included a mini microwave, medium mini fridge, & instant coffee bar. Ice machines accessible on guest floors. Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free item from the mini market! NOISE The building design & materials used means this could go either way... but my stay was peaceful & quiet. YMMV. Avoid a room by the ice machine & book a top floor if you're noise sensitive. LOCATION Easily accessible highway, IHOP across the parking lot (!), & interesting views. The area was mostly secluded & felt safe enough. VERDICT Artisans of hospitality. The hospitality really took this experience to the next level for me. Good accommodations + an exemplary level of training & talent in customer service. I've stayed here before and I can truly say that this hotel which is located directly off of I-270 and Sawmill Rd. and a few minutes away from where I live, I LOVE THIS GETAWAY SPOT! Even during a pandemic, the hotel manages to serve complimentary breakfast from 6 am to 10 am, the hotel is spotless clean and management keeps us safe by contactless check in and check out. Let's talk about these beautiful rooms. Those plush pillows and pillow top mattress made it hard for me to get up in the morning lmbo. We had plenty of towels. This was a very special occasion for me. My boyfriend lives in New Orleans during the winter storm we had here in Columbus, I thought I had to cancel my three day room for just one night because his flights were canceled. When I found out that he was coming and got a flight out to come here, I was able to keep my original reservation. Management even upgraded my room with no extra charge. I will forever be grateful. Thank you to management and staff for always making my little getaways very special. I highly recommend this hotel. You can walk out the door and grab a bite to eat at IHOP, Roosters, Olive Garden and some fast food restaurants. read more

This establishment was actually pretty nice, and the gal that checked us in was great, but the reason I gave it three stars instead of 5 is because of an issue I had after we left. I accidentally left a sweater in my room when we left, but it was found right away when I called and inquired about it. I was told that if I could send them a prepaid label they would send it to me. I wish they had been as quick to send it to me as they were to find it. I sent the label to them on a Monday and when I tracked it a week later it still had not been scanned in with USPS. I called the hotel again and the gal that answered the phone told me that she had actually seen the label, along with my sweater, sitting on a shelf the night before, but that it was gone......she assumed that someone had taken it to the post office. I waited a couple of days and tried to track the package again, and it still did not show that it had made it to the post office. I emailed the manager and she told me that SHE had mailed it personally and that she had done it the week before, but she wasn't sure which day because she had been SO busy. What? How could she have mailed it the week before? Not only was it not showing up on the tracker, her own staff member told me that she had seen it just a few days prior.........days after the manager supposedly mailed it. Fully one month after it was supposedly mailed it showed up on the tracker as having been received at the post office. If I had to guess, I would say that it rode around in the back seat of someone's car for a month before they bothered to mail it. When I tried to get information from the manager she was pretty defensive and really not helpful at all. This is totally what one would not expect from a Marriott. It's doubtful that we would ever be in that area again, but I can guarantee you that we would not be staying at this particular hotel if we were. read more

Hubby and I booked a suite this weekend while visiting Columbus Museum of Art and Otherworld this weekend. We chose a suite because it only cost a bit more than the king room and had a much bigger bathroom and a lot more space. We checked in at about 8 pm and the young lady at the desk was really nice. We easily found the suite and were impressed with the size, and cleanliness. It was nice to have the extra space of s suite. It was nice to sit on the couch at night before bed and be able to watch Netflix or hulu on our home account. The big bathroom was the best part though. It was bigger than my bathroom at home and was even more comfortable. With a big Whole Foods nearby, lots of restaurants and shopping, a huge room, and still a quiet hotel suite, I'm a huge fan and I'll be back ! read more

Boyfriend and I and another couple decided to share celebrating our anniversaries together by getting hotel rooms for us. The Fairfield Inn locations are always very clean and bright. The staff is always very accommodating. Our friends forgot a few things so they supplied them with toothbrushes and toothpaste. They offer little amenities if you forget yours at home. They traveled down so they were truly away from home. During our stay, there were many, many children there with a group. They were yelling and running the halls. We mentioned this to the front desk manager, Kyle Davis, who was a little rude with us when we stated we hoped they didn't exhibit this kind of behavior around the hotel during the night when everyone is sleeping. We reserved an hour time slot to swim in the pool. It was heated and very nice however they had air blowing that made it very cold in the room. Overall, the rooms were nice and clean and overall enjoyable stay. read more

This hotel was clean, modern, and the staff was friendly. The room room was clean and spacious. We had plenty of towels in our bathroom and there was a really big shower. The continental breakfast is why I'm giving it only 4/5. The eggs were gross and slimey, the juice seemed watered down, the coffee was week, and the bread a little stale. However, the staff (like Kyle), was super friendly and attentive. I would stay here again next time I'm in Columbus. I booked this hotel through the Marriott website and used my triple A membership to get a discount. With triple A it was around $100 for one night. read more

The hotel is super clean and has a convenient location about 15 mins from the Columbus Zoo. We were there for four days in December 2018, right after Christmas. The staff is friendly, engaging, and gave us a coupon for free parking at the zoo. The person who was at the desk the night we got there (I think his name was Brian?) was helpful every time we met him. Breakfast was the usual sausage, eggs, waffles, etc., but there were a lot of items and they kept the food out a while after the 930 cutoff time so latecomers could still enjoy a good breakfast. There was free coffee, hot chocolate, and ice water in the lobby all the time. They also had cookies one night. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's near everything. Lots of good restaurants nearby and close to tourist attractions. We got a discount due to our AAA membership and the price was great. read more

This place was hand down clean,wonderful breakfast and only ten minutes travel time to the Columbus zoo. We had a wonderful front desk hostess name staci she was so helpful and a bright sprit. The have an outdoor fire place with a tv . The first night we stayed there it didn't work but by the next day after we came back from the zoo she had made sure he got fixed. She didn't get frustrated or bothered by all the questions we had. We can't not wait to come back. The morning staff when we left were also nice and asked if we had an issues. read more

I stayed at this location on business and it was very nice. Being someone who works in hospitality and service I can be a little inwardly snobby about hotels and banquet halls, but this location was pretty excellent. The lobby area and rooms were immaculately clean and tidy at all times, which is of course a plus. The service staff was phenomenal; any time I spoke to anyone from the front desk concierge, the house keepers, the kitchen staff- everyone was so incredibly attentive, hospitable, and eager to help. I really mean that. They were excellent and made me feel very welcome. The parking is pretty great as well, there was never an issue despite how many people were packed into the hotel for conferences and meetings. The location of the hotel is ideal if you're in on business in one of the neighboring companies or conference centers. There are a ton of places very close by for food, which range from fast food, to nice grills, to upscale eateries. It's also very close to the Polaris Fashion Place so there's a lot to do when you're out of your conferences and meetings. The only improvements I could suggest are: - a more diverse continental breakfast - I'm not sure how to even word this one, but I used the gym everyday and it was a bit odd to me that all of the ellipticals and treadmills face a giant window that overlooks a very small pool. Luckily no one ever swam while I was working out, but it felt a little weird to think that people would be swimming and I'd be forced to awkwardly try not to look in their direction. The equipment did have small tvs mounted to them, but mine didn't work. It's not a huge problem, but it was a little weird. read more

This is a pretty nice hotel. Love the showers. Clean rooms and fresh linens each day. Good temp control and in a humid place like this it takes all the moisture away. Gym is nice and they have other great services. It's a hub for ride share as well. Breakfast is better than most. read more

So I used my points for a 2 day stay at this Marriott location. Upon arriving I needed to add a day and the desk told me they couldn't add with points, I had to call. I called and added a day and got a conformation of the new check out. I wanted to verify this with the front desk so I asked them to check and they said they didn't see another day. I showed them my email and asked if they could please have this fixed before tomorrow. They said they would take care of it. The next day I'm being bothered by housekeeping to check out, I called the front desk and spoke to the assistant General Manager , who told me they didn't have another night for me. I explained the reservation, but she was rude and insulted my intelligence asking if it was under another name? I showed them the email the day before!!!! They should have taken full responsibility from a silver elite member and just fixed it , I'll never visit this location again! read more
