From the outside of the building, it doesn't look very friendly and inviting. When you walk into the check in and lounge area, it is very clean and modern looking. The inside of the room felt dated. The bathroom felt crowded. It was nice that the room had a microwave and refrigerator. The furnishings in the room felt dated and the chair you could tell was worn. There was only a small window to look out of. TV was a modern, flat screen. The first night at dinner, the food was not good at all except for the salad and soup. Last night, the food was much better and very filling and tasty. In the afternoon there was popcorn but you weren't able to access the soda machine as it was locked. Not sure if I would stay here again as opposed to another hotel due to the dated fixtures in the room. read more

After reading a number of reviews for other hotels, we landed on this one. We arrived on a Saturday and were only staying for a night to attend a celebration of life on Sunday. Good customer service at check-in; the room was clean; they have a small gym room available; and they have a free continental breakfast. Loved the surrounding area, which had a number of restaurants and shopping nearby. read more

This was the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Food was decent but completely crazy during Kickback times due to drink coupon. King room was small. Two bedroom suite had alot more room for the money. Pet owners didn't clean up their dogs messes way too many times even though bags were provided. Guess the class of people that stay here says it all. Pick a different hotel if you want higher end clientele. I only stayed here because my kids had already booked their room here....I wouldn't stay here again however. read more

I made reservation for what I thought was Tuesday October 15th, as it turns out it was for Tuesday October 22nd. My parents and I were in Dublin, Ohio for a family funeral. When I was told that my reservation was for the following week I was shocked. The staff, Frida and Miyoung, were soo accommodating! The two of them went above and beyond for my parents and I. First time coming here. This place is literally in a beautiful hotel district where I've stayed at a few of these hotels prior. There's tons of parking here which was great. I've never been to a Drury Inn, in my entire life but this place was just phenomenal! It's beautiful inside. Their pool is very nice, you can swim inside and out of the building which I've only seen once in my life. Even features a great hot tub. Their breakfast and dinner was phenomenal. Their food selection is beyond phenomenal compared to literally every hotel! The room itself was great but in my opinion, the bathroom was really puny. All other room features had great amenities. It's a bit of a hassle though if you book this hotel way too soon then far in advance and they do ask for a decent amount of information. Overall great hotel! read more

We arrived after dinner had ended but free breakfast and dinner is more than you get at most hotels now, for the same price or even a bit less. "drear·y; an adjective, meaning dull, bleak, and lifeless; depressing." In all candor, I do not understand how the Drury Inn has a 4.5 star rating at the time of this review. As a routine business traveler, I have certainly stayed at places worse than this, but not often. Upon checking in, there were a couple of bad omens of the quality of the hotel. When I entered the hotel, there were four large rolling luggage carts stuffed into the small entry vestibule, and thus there was just barely enough room to enter the facility (but only if you do so in single file order). Then, at the check-in desk, I noticed several piles of hair on the floor right in front of the desk. Disgusting! I suppose I was hoping against hope that my room would be better (and since I was locked into a pre-paid, non-refundable work travel reservation through Egencia, going across the street to either the Hyatt Place or Marriott was not an option). My room was not much better than the lobby. Thankfully, the linens appear bright, and clean, but the carpets are dark and dirty; the bathroom tub faucet is broken; and the "finer touches" leave much to be desired. I must admit, I abhor discovering the wall-mounted soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in hotel bathrooms--they just seem so cheap and unsanitary. Wasn't the guest prior to me washing their nether regions, and then touching that same shampoo dispenser--and now I am expected to touch it? No thanks; I will defer to the single sanitary, wrapped miniature soap bar next to the sink. Actual shampoo will have to wait until I get home. On the positive side, the front desk clerk was very professional and cheery (but curiously recommended the neighboring Longhorn Steakhouse as the "best restaurant in Dublin"). The hotel does offer a free breakfast buffet, and up to three free "adult drinks" per guest during happy hour, though I am not sure getting patrons inebriated is the cure for the lack of attention to details that ails this establishment (at least on my visit). In short, I've found the Drury Inn to be dull, bleak, and bordering on depressing. Hence, my reference to the coincidently sounding "dreary" definition to open this review. On my next trip to Ohio, I'll pick one of the places across the street. read more

They say "everyone" gets kick back drinks but don't let you use them. We chose Drury Inn for our entire family and even though we had multiple family members with the same name (not an unusual occurrence?) they denied us over 9 drinks and the staff was VERY rude and unaccommodating . For an outdated hotel- definitely not impressed. Will be picking one of the many better hotels around. read more

Great customer service! We left a drawer full of clothing in our rush checking out for an early soccer game. Tracy was super helpful and responsive in getting it sent to us. Great customer service, food and drinks but when it comes to how my husband was treated by a guest and how uncomfortable I felt during our stay that's why I can't give this hotel a good rating. My husband and I are Black Americans. During our stay we were a few of the small number of blacks staying there. When I walked into the lobby or the common area where we had breakfast I felt eyes staring at myself and my husband by the mostly white guests. My sweet husband who is 6'5 and just overall a big guy got on the elevator, a little white boy got on also. The little boy said hello to my husband. The next person who got on the elevator was an elderly white woman who looked shocked or surprised to see my husband and then she proceeded to hold her purse closer to her. My husband and the little boy tried to say hello to her. I felt so uncomfortable that I avoided going down for breakfast the morning we left. Just felt overall sad for this trip because it was meant to be a getaway for me and my husband. read more

Every winter we get away for a long weekend somewhere and last December it was Columbus. I have stayed here a few times. I love the Drurys. This one is a wee older and dated but I like it just fine. The happy hour is killer. The pool is always clean. Not five star dining but what can you expect for free breakfast and kickback happy hour? Im usually to drunk to taste anything anyway. Staff is always nice too. Only thing (as with any hotel) is if your unlucky enough you stay the same weekend as a kids sports team, dance troupe or family reunion and you get to see how other people suck. Decent stay here 5/23/19... clean room, plenty of bathroom linens and bed was decent enough for a sound sleep. I was running behind and missed the evening kickback but the breakfast the next morning was good. Definitely not the Embassy Suites breakfast but no reason to go hungry. Front desk check in was a breeze. The general manager was the person who checked us in and he was very nice. The front desk attendant the next morning was very nice as well. This is an older property as many have noted but still a good place for a one nights stay. The room we had was directly across from the elevator which was annoying due to noise but not as bad around the midnight hour through at least 7am. Would stay here again. read more

This was a lovely stay for us as we closed out our road trip before heading home, and as with most of our Drury Inn stays, we were pretty delighted. Our check in was smooth, our room was huge (although the bathroom was TINY and hard to navigate; it was quite frustrating given how much space there was in the room!), the kickback was fantastic as always (shout out to Michael [I think?] who was super friendly), the pool area was clean and well maintained, and even check out was easy with Beth being super warm and welcoming. It definitely is an older building, but it didn't feel dirty or run down inside. Lots of places near by, and even more delivered on GrubHub. We really enjoyed some time just relaxing, swimming and soaking, and chilling out in the room. Would absolutely stay here again! read more

We stayed at the Drury Inn recently for a volleyball tournament in Columbus. We made reservations months in advance. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and we got a room on the sixth floor. The room was very clean, had been recently renovated, was comfortable, and had everything we needed, including WiFi. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Breakfast was above average - fresh waffles, sausage, fresh biscuits, fruit, cereal, and fruit juice. I enjoyed it and I didn't feel like I was eating a frozen, boxed, breakfast. We were in town for a family wedding and we had a great stay here for the weekend. My son loved the indoor/outdoor pool even tho it was a little chilly in May. There was a lot of events going on that weekend so there were a lot of guests but the room was nice and quiet. Lots of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was good, with cereal, muffins, fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy...a little variety from day to day would have been nice but I understand the cooking for a large amount of people you gotta do what you gotta do. The two free drink tix in the evening was nice, bartender was really nice and personable. Would definitely stay here again when we come to visit. read more

It's a five star rating for a very inexpensive hotel. $95 plus tax came to about $112. It included hot breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, Denver scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes Plusfor continental service. After staying at Drury Hotel in Indianapolis (Carmel), I was very excited to stay in another Drury hotel again. Sadly to say, Drury Dublin OH is no comparison to Drury Indianapolis. The best way to describe it would be comparing flying for coach vs business! The difference is that both were at the SAME price! This hotel is old, air conditioning has an odd odor, furniture and decor are dated. The lobby is very small, there is no seating area and I continue to question why this hotel has a 3 star rating. It really should be rated two star! The pool area was not kids friendly. There were a dozen adult drinking while soaking in the hot tub. I went from seeking for Drury hotel o Family vacation to never stay in another Drury hotel again after this experience.... read more

This hotel and its management and staff are incredibly courteous and kind. I put in some serious time at this hotel over the course of about 10 weeks. Managers John, Will, and Christina are there on the daily helping keep the place clean and running smoothly. The breakfast offering is well spread with healthy options along with the home cooking favorites. This location offers both breakfast and an early evening meal and drinks. I found all the food to be well made and reliable daily. Folks who stay for a single night or two should be surprised to see they get three free drinks and food that can sub out for anything local without having to spend extra coin. Seriously I are this food on the regular for months and there were only a few times where something wasn't good quality. The rooms were big and all amenities are functional. Could use a bigger fridge but this isn't an extended stay so its to be expected. Only con of the whole place after my time there is that the floors tend to be sticky anywhere carpet isn't down. The soda fountain is open till later in the evening so there's sugar on the ground and it never stops being sticky. Overall this place is great and I would recommend to anyone asking. read more

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway to celebrate his birthday. We were greeted warmly and the amenities were explained to us. The lobby is big, bright and beautiful! Our room was clean and smelled fresh. We did a quick search for bed bugs as we always do- nothing was found. We brought in our luggage and settled in for the weekend. The hotel offers free popcorn and fountain soft drinks from 3pm- 10pm, which was super nice for our day spent in our room on Football Sunday! They offer a "kickback" from 530-7pm with 3 free adult beverages and dinner/snacks such as nachos, hotdogs, Mac and cheese, baked potatoes, soup and salad. The gym and pool is open until 10pm. The pool/hot tub area was clean and warm. The pool is an indoor/outdoor pool which we had never experienced before, so that was neat. Breakfast is served until 930am during the week and until 10am on the weekends. Offered is typically: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage gravy, biscuits, yogurt, toast, bagels, Belgium waffles, cereal, oatmeal and juice. Overall, we were very impressed with the amenities and with our stay. This was our first time staying at a Drury Inn and we will continue to seek them out in our future getaways. read more

This is a great location and great staff. They told us they recently remodeled. Given the price and free breakfast, internet, evening drink tickets, it has great value. Just around the corner from I-270 ramp, across from Tuttle mall, and 5 minutes from Dublin makes it a great place to stay for business or leisure. Parking lot is generally less crowded on the back side. "Business center" is 1 computer and printer adjacent to the front desk. Our room had a brick wall which appeared to be for structural support so made for no view and an ever so small window. Also, bathroom was awkward shape like a 5-sided hexagon due to curvature and placement of the toilet and tub. BEWARE: Ohio St. home football weekends can get crowded here. So disappointed! BAIT & SWITCH. A few days ago we stayed at the Drury Inn in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We had a great time, decided to try another Drury on our return trip. (On Tuesday, August 19, around 4:30 p.m.) We called ahead as we were entering Columbus to see if the hotel would honor a coupon we had from HotelCoupons.com. We were told they do but, it was for walk-in customers only. We inquired about their room occupancy and were told they were only 70% full and would have no trouble accommodating us. We said:"thank you, we will be there in a few minutes.We arrived about 20 minutes later. When I presented the coupon I was told by the clerk that the computer needed to process the coupon was down. When asked if there were rooms available, she confirmed there were, but I could not use the coupon. Instead of $79.99, the room would be $159. We didn't stay. We were so disappointed that we returned our "Gold" card which wasn't very golden. read more

Before putting any stock in Yelp's "Four Star" rating for this property, you might want to look at the dates on the reviews that appear to be largely responsible for that average. I have a strong feeling that this hotel may have changed management since that time. Avoid this property! Stayed here for two nights with daughter's soccer team. Would never again consider this hotel, nor would I consider it for any group. We had a block of rooms, spending well over $3,000 ( $ three thousand) for the weekend. We were treated like second class citizens at best, trespassers at worst. After a long day of competition, our team parents look forward to relaxing and socializing at the hotel, which we began to do around 8 PM in the food and beverage area. At exactly 9:59, a hotel staff person approached our table with a large trash can and, without any other explanation began saying "Time to go! Time to go!". Our team has stayed at a number of hotels throughout Ohio without ever being treated so rudely. Apparently, this hotel has a 10:00 PM "curfew" and the staff objects to any noise of any kind after that time. Apparently however, they do not mind the pungent odor of marijuana that permeated several of the hallways as I retreated to my room after meeting "Time to go!" lady. Did I mention that we spent more than $3,000 at this hotel? The rooms, which I saw about a half dozen of, were generally cramped, dated, and worn. Air conditioning was close to small jet-engine loud and had two settings: hot or freezing. Walls were paper thin and all sounds from adjoining rooms could be easily heard. Well, at least they don't let you talk in the lobby after 10:00 PM. Thank goodness. On the second night, our group was literally removed from the lobby during the 5:00 happy hour and escorted to a private meeting room without explanation. Although very weird, who minds a private meeting room? Well, you do if you find out 15 minutes later that another group has paid to reserve it. They are not too happy about it either! This is when we first encountered the staff member in the tan suit, who appears to double as front desk and security officer. After we agreed amongst ourselves to share the room with the paid group, he kept re-appearing for no apparent reason to observe our activities. He would walk through a conversation to adjust the blinds, or to look at the contents of a trash can. Then, unsolicited, he announced that the room, which had been paid for until 12:00 PM, would now be closed at 10:00 (they really have a thing about 10:00 at this place). This probably ticked off the group that had paid for the room even more than it did our group. Tan suit guy kept popping up...to the extent that he became a running joke. Each time, his activities could not accurately be described as anything but snooping. He struck you as one of those guys who desperately wanted to be a police officer or in the military, but for all the wrong reasons and was never quite up to snuff for admission to those professions. He seemed like he was constantly looking for something to stick his nose into....although he appeared to have no concerns about the pungent odor of marijuana which again permeated the halls this second evening. Our bills were also wrong....still have not received rewards points properly credited for stay (although this is perhaps academic as it will be a cold day in Hell before I'll consider staying at another Drury Inn). In short, this was the most unfriendly, unwelcoming, strange, and overpriced hotel our team has ever stayed in. Did I mention we spent over $3000? You'd have thought we had burst in and demanded free rooms given the reception we received. Do your self a favor if you are in this area.....book one of the nearby Marriotts near by....we wish we had. Marriott properties are generally welcoming to groups, willing to work with you, appreciative, and seldom have hallways that reek of marijuana. But if you're into worn, cramped, poorly ventilated rooms, hotel staff that get all up in your business to a semi-creepy degree while all the time doing absolutely nothing to indicate appreciation of your business, hallways that reek of Whacky Tobaccky, being told to be completely quiet after 10 PM, arguing about inaccurate invoices and missing rewards points, and other unsettling experiences, this is the place for you. read more

I have stayed at a lot of hotels at various price points and really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was clean and the staff was really friendly. I had travel trouble due to weather and they adjusted my stay without a cost which was great. They had free breakfast every morning and then a pretty good free "kickback hour" every night with free drinks and snacks. I was here for a training so the "kickback hour" was nice b/c it let me connect with other attendees and for free versus going to a local pub. I didn't go to the pool but it seemed very popular. The hotel was also close to other options for food and drink which allowed us to walk and not need a car. read more

I stayed here for 2 nights for a medical conference. I read reviews about the over the top breakfast, happy hour 5:30-7pm and all of that is true! They also have dinner with those 3 drinks. I was very pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities. The room was really clean. Beds very comfy. Lots of Feather pillows. Fridge, microwave, central heat and air with wall thermostat. Big screen tv, wifi-no password. It has a small gym with elliptical, 3 treds, and some free weights. There is a pool (but I didn't go). The staff were Sooo NICE and HELPFUL! The pics already posted are true to what it looks like. I did read some complaints but I think they are ridiculous, because this place is amazing and I would stay here again if I was in town. The area it self is really nice, located next to lots of restaurants across the street and walking distance. There is also a mall less that half a mile away. read more

Excellent customer service!! Ok, so my parents booked a room here for 3 nights. There was an issue the first night which caused them to leave (not the hotels fault). Ended up at the Marriott. They get settled in the room and receive a call from the general manager, John. He felt so bad about the situation (again, not his fault at all) that he asked them to come back in the morning and talk to him. Long story short, he was so kind and put them in the nicest room in the hotel at no charge. Not only that, but they were treated like gold the rest of their stay. All of the employees went above and beyond to make sure they had a great experience. Every evening they had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (which is complimentary for hotel guests) and looked forward to it! I had to write this review (parents don't Yelp) because of the awesome employees at this hotel, esp. the general manager, John. He turned negative situation into an extremely positive one. He truly cared about my parents, his customers. Next time we are in Columbus area, we will definitely be staying at this hotel. Rare to find such excellent customer service anymore. read more

We booked our reservation with our disabled son for next weekend. The ONLY way to request handicapped accessible was at the booking screen which is pathetically ridiculous. Should have known better than to trust that but I thought with their rating, it would be ok. Nope...just got an email back that because I booked it through Expedia, it's non refundable and sucks to be me because the bathroom isn't accessible like I requested. Not only are we going to have a MISERABLE weekend thanks to Drury Inn but I have no idea how I'm going to shower my adult son. Thanks for nothing. read more

Stayed here a night recently for a Saturday trip to the Zoo. I have nothing but good things to say about the stay. Everything was very clean, including the room, lobby, and dining area. The staff was very friendly and check-in/out was very easy. Having stayed at a Drury Inn before, we knew what to expect from the food and cocktails. The "bartender" was very friendly and a lot of fun to talk to. While there were quite a few people staying there that night, there was plenty of food and drinks were handed out quickly. Dinner and Breakfast were decent with a wide variety, especially when you compare it to other hotels. Only downside was the size of the pool and the fact that it was full of kids, but that is expected. I would definitely stay here again. read more
