I called in because my appt was cancelled last minute, then Jacob repeatedly hung up on me and didn't explain why. Then I called again and I had an insurance question and he hung up on me again. I I don't understand the bad scores here. Granted, getting an appointment via ZocDoc was a mess, but, after a couple of late evening texts, I got a 700 am appointment. The place is nicely appointed. Equipment is new, everyone was polite and professional. I even asked a couple of leading questions to bait them into a fake up sell, and it never happened. My cleaning was very thorough. I chose Fairview Dental for my family because they offer Saturday hours, which is great for my busy schedule during the week. They are welcoming and nice when you enter the office; however, the office manager, Grace, lacks the professionalism and customer service when it applies to answering the phone, returning phone calls, responding to text messages, mixing up schedules, etc. The office is very disorganized. It took the office almost two weeks to respond back to me. On top of that, they mentioned my son needs a root canal and the dentist (Dr. Kang) never sat down with me to discuss the X-rays and diagnosis. I had an amazing experience with Dr.Kang and his staff. From the front desk to the back office, it was very pleasant. It was my first visit and they did what needed too be done to not have me go home in pain. They made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I appreciated that Dr. Kang made time for my concerns. This place has gone to hell! I used to be absolutely thrilled with the care I was provided here. I had been a patient for 5 years, but in 2021 their entire office was turned inside out. Now they have turned to deceptive billing practices. Poor office management and shoddy service. I am taking my entire family to a new dentist. Run away from this place. They tell you that you pay one thing, then they do the work and then they change the price. You can never get an office person on the phone. It's all done by an answering service that does nothing for you. There are far too many other options out there for trash service like this. read more

This off sucks at crowns anyway, so I feel blessed to be able to go elsewhere, but this office has SHADY business... My first appointment was in 2019 and I came in for an XRay to check on a chipped tooth from a fall and get a cleaning. Waited over 45 minutes after my XRay to only be told that I could not get a cleaning because the dentist does not have time. Fast forward to 2021 when things got better for me financially I came back to this establishment in February and got another XRay, but not even a basic cleaning because again the dentist does not have time. I set another appointment and payment plan for 2 crowns and the weather got back due to ice storm due to an ice storm , so I couldn't make my appointment. Today is April 10th, 2021 and I'm now here again unable to get a crown, or cleaning because now the DENTIST doesn't feel comfortable offering the payment plan any longer because my insurance will not cover it and he wants to submit it to my insurance before I get the service. Before I was told they weren't going to accept my payment plan they already took the money out of my account, but then refunded me. I will be calling corporate to verify this information Monday morning to explain in detail all of the negative comments that were left on this site because if more than one person says it it is definitely true and I will also reach out to the BBB and my insurance company to let them know of the things that happened at this office and to verify what charges they have charged my insurance company. Dr. Le and his staff are one of a kind! I had a bad experience in the past with a different office/dentist which has caused me to fear dentists as a whole. Once I walked into De. Le's office, Janelle quickly eliminated any doubt I had with her sweet, kind and caring personality. Their hygienist, Elena, is an absolute gem! She is a ton of fun to talk to, extremely thorough and ensures you understand what is going on as a patient. Dr. Le is extremely patient, cautious and gentle with his work. I never felt any pain and he made sure I was at ease throughout the entirety of my procedures. All in all, this place, staff and Doctor are TOP NOTCH. Highly Recommended read more

I never got around to updating my review (still at 1 stars) after my visit, but I wanted to share a resource to patients. I went in for an exam and general cleaning, but I was quoted several hundred dollars for services that a dentist who's a relative confirmed where unnecessary. If you experience any fraud, please report it to tsbde.Texas.gov. There is a form to submit a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners online. Hope this helps! read more

The worst experience I've ever had. To begin with I arrived 15 min early for my appointment with a tooth ache and my yearly cleaning. First they take a bunch of X-rays. They put me in one of the treatment rooms to move me to another. I sit there for more than an hour cause they can't figure out their "computers". Finally, one tech comes in to tell me I hv to pay $700 for a deep cleaning. Doesn't tell me why i need deep cleaning and they hadn't even put tools in my mouth yet to justify I need a "deep cleaning". Then another one tells me I hv to pay a different (higher) amount for a different procedure. I ended up walking out with out a cleaning 2 hours later. The dr did call in a prescription for my toothache. read more

Do not go here. This place is a SCAM dentistry. The guy dentist with dark hair kept recommending procedures I DID NOT NEED on areas of my mouth that were not affected!! I came in for adjustments for my fillings only to find out WHILE I WAS IN THE CHAIR that I would be getting root canals????? I literally did not come for that and it was completely unacceptable that they just randomly decided to do a ROOT CANAL spontaneously. I am never coming back here again, huge waste of money and WORST customer service ever. Sorry to whoever goes here. I wrote Fairview Dental an email on 7/23 to express my dissatisfaction with my appointment to no avail. NO email response or call was provided. I called a week later to also express my dissatisfaction. An "office manager" finally called me back and left me a message. I called him back twice and still have yet to receive a response. This is completely unacceptable service. Please see below on my experience with this office... I was scheduled for a crown last Friday to which someone called to reschedule because Dr. Kim would be out sick that day. Totally no problem. They requested that I still come in Friday with another doctor to which I declined because I wanted to stick with the same doctor. I arrived at 12:59 for my 1pm appt. My dentist walked into the room 1:25. This is completely unacceptable to have a customer wait that long. I could have rescheduled. In addition, the dentist was not Dr. Kim! The dentist told me he'd do a good job when I asked why Dr. Kim was not there. To avoid being difficult, I obliged. The dentist was fine. My issue is the quality of service today. After my crown was completed, the dentist left the dental assistant to clean off the cement, etc. After she was finished cleaning the cement she literally said, "your all set." I've been to enough dentist to know that its standard operating practice to check with the patient to see how the crown feels, how the bite feels, etc. I had to tell her that my bite was off. To which she said, "well it's going to feel different but if you think it's off I'll have him come fix it..." I really don't appreciate that they just threw my crown on and said have a good day without checking to see if it fit. I have never experienced quality of service this low at a dental office and not at Fairview. The dentist came back upon my request and attempt to adjust my crown, but it is still off. I did not feel comfortable asking them to fix it because it already seemed as if the dental assistant was annoyed that I asked in the first place. In short, I was happy with the service I received from Fairview and was not happy with the fit of my crown. The nice gentleman working the front desk was the only pleasant part of my visit that day. I found Fairview dental after reading tons of reviews on dental offices in Allen Texas and their reviews were of the better. The service and unprofessionalism I received clearly cannot be the standard. Fairview I am still awaiting a response from you. To date, it's almost been a month. It's laughable at this point. 0 STARS: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I was in on 4/15/21. They ended up OVERCHARGING me. I get insurance takes time to process but it is now 06/03/21 and NO ONE has refunded me. Long enough for my Care Credit to charge my account for the full balance as of 5/26/21. Both Leann and Belinda has given me the run around. I have dated and recorded each call log. Looking into an attorney for this practice. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DUE TO LACK OF COMMUNICATION IN THIS OFFICE. IT'S BEYOND AWFUL. read more

I have recieved the worse and most unacceptable customer service here. They were supposed to refund my money since November last year: however, i have never recieved anything. I have been trying to call the office and been told that the office manager, Aniket, or the office coordinator,Belinda, will return my calls. No one ever called me back since. I used to go here when it was Eden Dental and loved it then but now, the management is terrible. I overpaid a bill back in July and have been told they were writing me a check back 3x ...6 mos later I still have not received my money back. Do NOT pay them a cent in advance- make them bill your insurance and pay after the fact. The office manager pretends to be "out" whenever I call for an update. My husband went to see Dr. Quinn and he said the service was fine, but the cleaning went super fast like they didn't spend enough time on it. He also felt pressured to get follow up appointments on some optional things. When he came home he decided he wanted to wait a bit for the follow ups because he didn't feel comfortable. But when he cancelled his appointment we got hit with an $85 cancellation fee! First, I've never been charged a cancellation fee when canceling more than 24 hours in advance, and second -- $85 dollars! WTH Just gotta say, based on our experience, this guy is more interested in what he can charge you for than what he can do for you. :( read more

Had mostly great experiences getting work done here; the dentists and technicians are especially kind and understanding of anxious patients. I had no pain during my cavity filling procedure. In addition, they are very accommodating if you need to bring kids along. They have a designated area for them to play in the waiting room, but will also allow your child to come in the room with you. They put a kids show on the monitor they usually use to broadcast your x-rays so you can see them from the patient chair. And the weekend receptionist even babysat my son behind the front desk a few times. Having said that, I took off one star because their pain management is not great after your procedure is done. When you are getting an extensive procedure done, such as tooth removal, you need real pain medicine to deal. I understand with the opioid epidemic in our country we should be careful about prescribing pain meds. But tooth removal is a valid reason to prescribe them. My husband had to go to work in severe pain after a procedure. To their credit, when we called and told them the extra strength Tylenol wasn't working they called in something stronger. But his next procedure was on a Saturday afternoon right before they closed, so calling in afterwards to tell them he needed something stronger was not an option. He had to wait till Monday, at which point the worst of the pain was over anyway. But that was a rough weekend. In addition, one of the techs here (not a dentist) turned up my gas way too fast so that I was not getting enough oxygen. I immediately became dizzy and confused and asked them to turn it off for the remainder of the procedure. This was just one tech, the rest are good, but they need to make sure they train their techs who will be administering laughing gas because it is dangerous to increase it at the speed she did. I'm not sure if anyone but the dentists are supposed to be administering it anyway. read more

I had gone to this facility for a few years when it was Eden dental. I wasn't sure what to expect with the new owners but was pleasantly surprised. I had pain in my teeth for over a week so I made an appointment. They got me in quickly, took Xrays and did an exam. It turned out to be pain due to sinus pressure. The doctor was refreshingly honest and suggested Claritin or antihistamine to help the pain go away. She didn't even charge me for the visit! I really appreciate everything they did and will continue seeing them for my dental needs. read more

Have been seeing this dentist for about 6-7 years now. He has always been brutally upfront and honest with me. In my own experience, he has even gone beyond the money factor to help me out a bit when in between jobs. I chose this one in the beginning after having visited a few dentist in the past who just didn't seem too interested in the person. I have had an extraction, a root canal, 3 cavities and 2 crowns that the Dr took care of, plus teeth cleanings of course. I recommend him to my own wife, but she has the one she prefers.
