Check out the menu while you wait so you don't waste time at you me table since they boot you at 90 minutes. I saw the server trying to hustle a solo diner. Staff are kind but this place is busy and they want the table available for the next group. The food is pretty good. They nail farm classics. I love the avo toast. Their vegan bowl is meh (you can tell they don't have many vegan on staff). And their tex mex plates miss the mark. But stick to the classics and you are golden. However at least once try their delicious (overpriced) fresh squeezed orange juice. I mean look this picture. It is bright and golden and delicious. No preservatives here baby! A lot of Yelpers mention the price. It is really high. Just know that ahead of time. You pay at the counter too, another tactic to get you up and out of the table to move in someone else. Yummy food and friendly service. The lattes and ice coffees are very sweet so be sure to order half sweet if you like to tase your coffee. Cafe can be loud making it hard to hear your lunch mates but the food is very good, so you may not need to talk for a bit. read more

This was absolutely delicious! I got the Wisconsin omelet with cheese curds inside, and it was heavenly. The fried cheese curds add such a unique salty flavor and texture, and the egg is nice and fluffy. I added a bit of Tabasco and it was perfect. You also get two sides with omelets, so I got the lemon poppyseed muffin and fruit. I'd definitely say the omelet was the best amount of food for price on the menu. The food was really good, and well proportioned. The service was disappointing. The big lady with blonde hair and blue eyes, if you are a hispanic person she will not treat you nicely. She'll be courteous but her service is awful compared to her catering to white people. My boyfriend and I visited today, she only checked on us about 3x; get our orders, ask about the food, and our receipt. She even forget to get my drink but kept checking up on the other people around us (white people) :(. She just kept passing our table not even trying to deal with us. It was an upsetting experience, it was not just us, but a pair of two hispanic woman arrived and she didn't even want to look at them. At the end of the service we paid and i told my boyfriend not to tip by the way she neglected us. In the end he did, at least $5 (our total was 53, 18% = about $8. something. He gave the cash in her hand and seemed upset and even slightly disgusted... a bland "thanks", didn't even look at him just kept on her conversation with other workers. What a cute brunch cafe on the edge of Fairview and Allen. It sits close to Fairview Village and the major shopping area off of Stacy. Their service is great. Our server, Patrick, was super nice and helpful. Since this was our first time, we ordered several dishes so we could try both savory and sweet. Overall, their presentation was gorgeous. Loved the added touch of beautiful island flowers on both the plates and drinks. Their portions were also great. Their food was good - my favorite had to be the pancake flight. The cafe itself was welcoming, open, and very family friendly. I would plan on a wait of 25-60 minutes depending on your party size. Glad we got to visit this place. read more

This is Fireman Chef Geoff's second time to visit... love this place... but.... When I took my girlfriend this past Sunday at 1030 and got on the "35-40" min wait and then went to the car and waited for the text and after 45 min of no text we went inside and I asked about my name and was told "oh we texted you 30 min ago" I was like wow ok. Well I never got it so you either didn't text me, it didn't go through, or you had the wrong number written down... I say the hostess needs to verify the number or you need to verify it once you give it to them. We were seated at a booth 5 min after this... with that said the food presentation is great! The servers seem so busy it's hard to keep your main drink filled and no interaction with the servers. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times because it's so hard to hear in this place. We both had soft drinks. Water was always filled but the soft drinks struggle.... Food is good and creative but not much flavor: my $18 burger was good...the bread was great but not much flavor... I found that I almost asked for mayo because it seemed dry to me and needed a sauce and more flavor. If bacon was I included and not $2 extra it may have helped. It's very loud and no acoustics in the restaurant. Food takes a good 20-30 min to come out once you order it is not fast. No much room to wait in front inside for your table so people are always waiting outside or in my case in the AC in the car and when they don't have the correct number to text you well yeah welcome to my experience. Make sure you verify with the hostess your number. Prices are about $17 plus a plate and sodas are $4 each. Gets pricy. But there is plenty of food.. fries are in a cute basket and lots! Breakfast looks crazy and bring your insulin pens lol. Cool spot but get there early on Friday sat Sunday or expect about a 40 min plus wait. I always love a good brunch place, and this is one of the best! Restaurant is both locally owned and family owned. Upon arrival, we waited about 45 minutes, and I don't mind for a good experience. Some reviews noted issues about parking, but I didn't have any. Service was great from seating until the end. I do love the farmhouse feel. We ordered the Country Bowl, Chicken Fried Steak, and S'moreo Pancakes. Wow! All three were great and not salty at all. The pancakes came out a little later due to the time for decoration, and the pancakes on their own were great. Love the details taken as the Country Bowl had the country fried steak already cut. Every one and a blue moon, a place like Fairview Farmers appears in your life, and when it does, its a sight to remember. My daughter asked me if just she and I could go to brunch, she said I'd love the place but there's a wait typically to get in... He gave us a little info on the place and suggested a few items from the menu. As I sat and watched food being delivered, I had instant regret even though I had not yet even ordered. Everything what went by my table looked incredible. I was happier than Eddie Money running a travel agency (only some will get that joke). My daughter orders first, she orders pancakes. I order a burrito... there were so many things on the menu, but for some reason I went with a burrito... As we sat and watched food being delivered, I was starting to regret just ordering a burrito... I saw literal WORKS OF ART passing by my table... Shortly after, ordering and seeing the incredible food being delivered, the table next to me gets their food, and what did the guy order? A burrito... and it looked great!! Then a few minutes later, in comes my burrito... I HAD NO REGRETS, that burrito was off the chains delicious. I also made it a point to steal some of my daughters' delicious pancakes. The portions at this place are generous, and the food is nothing short of art. I can't wait to go back and try something else, and I won't wait more than a few days. When I went the first time, I ordered the OG Avocado Toast with potatoes, Croissant Beignets and Chicken Fried Steak with potatoes, biscuits & gravy. Both the OG avocado toast and chicken fried steak tasted great but the potatoes were not the best. The beignets were to die for - I highly recommend getting them! When I went the second time, I got the Banana Split Brioche French Toast and a Salmon Salad. The French toast comes with caramelized bananas, warm salted caramel drizzle, sweet mascarpone, fresh fruits and walnuts. The bananas were insanely sweet and I loved the crunchiness the walnuts added to every bite. The salmon salad was a winner for sure! My only real complaint about the atmosphere is that it is LOUD! The food was knockout gorgeous with beautiful plating. This was our third visit to Fairview Farmers and our first with the kids. We ALL had a great experience. I suggest viewing the kid's menu BEFORE arriving. My husband & I had checked it out on a previous visit so we knew what we were in for when we came here with our kiddos. The kid's breakfast menu offers one healthy option (eggs + toast) the other three options are sugary treats (white flower pancakes with oreos or chocolate chips baked inside & on top, as well as being covered in powdered sugar!) We had already prepared our kids that they could pick a "fun" breakfast but told them they'd also need to have eggs first. The activities offered on the kid's menus were so fun, it kept all of us engaged. Each of our three kids got different activities on their menus too! I took a short trip to the Dallas area and came here on a Saturday morning. It seemed to be a very popular place to have breakfast, I had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. I had the California Omelette. Usually, to make something a 'California' version you just need to add avocado, and this omelette had the obligatory sliced avocado on top. The omelette also included modest amounts of mushrooms, green onion, asparagus, and Brussel sprouts. All very good. Service was very good, even though the restaurant was very busy.
