Had a great time here for a large event, food was great and well stocked for our event kept fresh all evening and bartenders were spot on all night!

Welcome to Haywire, a restaurant with incredible attention to detail when it comes to ambience. Three floors, each with its own distinct decor and outstanding service. I landed in Dallas and several people recommended this restaurant so here I am. Unfortunately, I'm on somewhat of a diet so this is going to be challenging. Several people have encouraged me to try their steak and of course and tons of other meats that look delicious, including Elk tacos. thankfully, they came through with Texas corn, spicy green beans and charred broccolini, as well as a house salad. Dessert looks delicious and I'm definitely planning to return. Pro-Tip. They have happy hours, get here early to experience the rooftop happy hour.

It was our last night in Texas and friends had recommended this place. It's a huge restaurant with 3 floors. First floor is mainly their bar. The second floor is the main dining/restaurant. It's a very big restaurant and it was quite busy for a Sunday night. The third floor is their rooftop bar with a cigar shop. Very cute setup with teepees. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We started with their Chef's favorite 4 appetizer platter and it did not disappoint. It was a great way to sample the best items on the menu. I wasn't keen on trying the elk tacos but they turned out to be pretty good and it tasted like ground beef. Fried green tomatoes is my jam. I was so excited when I saw it on the menu. Queso blanco was delish as was the onion rings. We all ordered an enteee and everyone enjoyed it. I had the double pork chop that was slow cooked with their house rib. As thick as it was the pork chop was still super juicy. The petite filets were very tender and juicy. Another friend had the catfish and shrimp and said it tasted ok but she wouldn't order it again. We were stuffed so we didn't get to order any dessert. We definitely loved the ambience and would love to come back again.

I loved the inside of this restaurant, the space is so large and such a Texas atmosphere! The food menu had a lot of different things to get, the service was okay for it being so big.

Ambiance, service, food & drinks- A+++++ First time visiting Dallas, we decided on Haywire before meeting family for drinks after. I'm so happy we did! The ambiance, a 3 story restaurant starting with a seated bar and lounge area, we were shown to the 2nd floor where there is an entire open concept kitchen and dining room along with bar tops for seating. There was an outdoor area on all levels, the 3rd floor was closed for a private event however we were told it's a cigar lounge. Our waiter Israel was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely attentive to my husband and I. The food was so good the dishwasher probably didn't beee to clean our plates after. The cocktails were a nice touch to enjoy before and after our delicious steaks. For the ladies, this location is directly across from Louis Vuitton, Gucci and David Yurman-wink wink!

Amazing service. So good I cannot recall our waiters name but he just started working there and he gave the most amazing recommendations. I'm not a big red meat eater, nor do I know how to order a steak. I met up with one of my girlfriends to catch up and we decided in the Cowgirl Dinner that we saw online. When I say it was the perfect amount of protein, carb and salad ratio and a cocktail for $30. You cannot beat that. Now we may have gotten started late , but the staff was more than accommodating as we toured the facility while they were closing. I will def come back for drinks and to try more of their food items. Also to frequent the cigar lounge they have on the 3rd floor. I will see if they carry Cohibas or Romeo and Juliet cigars.i love the atmosphere here !!! 100/10

My friend and I decided to check out Haywire to celebrate the Women's History Month special. It's all day long, it's called the Cowgirl Dinner. It comes with a 5oz steak, fries, caesar salad, and a lemon drop. It's only $30, and we came here for lunch. We were able to walk right in with no reservations required and it wasn't crowded at all. They also have HH M-F from 2p-6p which was a plus. We decided to share the HH chips and queso, which I enjoyed. The service was great. Inside was clean, not too loud. It's a great location for lunch. The meal was very good and hit the spot. I enjoyed it very much. I haven't been to Haywire in a while before this and I'm glad I came!

lively atmosphere and bustling with people on a monday evening! I did not expect this restaurant to be so huge -- even after walking up the stairs, there's a nice balcony filled with seating, perfect for a nice sunny day. waitresses were pretty attentive and kept coming back to refill our drinks. she provided suggestions as well, helping out our big group. I got my steak medium well, which was nice cut up on the sides to prevent it from folding in too much. I definitely would go medium next time, as it was slightly dry, and very salty. the mac and cheese was chewy and creamy, and was one of the better mac and cheeses I've tried in texas. the appetizers, not pictured, were also tasty, especially the chips and white queso.

Haywire Plano is one of those spots that gets a lot right, with just a few small misses. THE FOOD: For starters, the Queso is perfect. The Caesar salad is solid -classic anchovy-forward dressing that feels traditional and well-executed, though it leans a bit heavy on the dressing. The standout, though, is the prime rib. Easily the best I've had at a restaurant so far -perfectly cooked, flavorful, and worth coming back for on its own. THE SERVICE: The server was good-friendly, efficient, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. THE VIBE: Warm, upscale Texas feel with a rustic touch. It's polished but still relaxed-great for both a nice dinner out or bringing guests from out of town. Overall, a strong experience.

    TEXAS REDFISH
    Meagan D.

The redfish was slathered in some chunky seafood cream reminiscent of canned soup - absolutely wrecked the fish. The mashed potatoes were gummy and unseasoned. After dinner we went to the roof and sat in the airstream. Unfortunately a group of completely oblivious dudes had huddled with cigars directly in front of the entrance, hot boxing the air stream with cheap cigar smoke so it was an even more wretched experience than dinner inside. The ambiance is awful and the food is the quality of a frozen dinner but, our server was an absolute gem.

This is still my favorite place. It's definitely a must experience for any visitors I have come through Texas! The service is absolutely outstanding Jamie the GM is absolutely wonderful and of course Chance behind the bar is definitely my go to person as he gives the best menu suggestions and always goes above and beyond to deliver outstanding service

This is a restaurant I normally love and frequent often, and until this visit I've never had a single issue. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was a bit rough. When I arrived, I stood at the host stand and was ignored three separate times--no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing--leaving me standing there feeling awkward and overlooked. That was disappointing, especially since first impressions usually set the tone and having worked as a hostess in the past, I feel it is one of the most important jobs in a restaurant. Once seated, we ordered the pork belly bites for appetizer that was better than it has even been in the past! They were wonderful!! Then for dinner I ordered a ribeye steak that arrived cold. I sent it back, but the replacement was also cold, which was frustrating. On a positive note, our waitress was absolutely lovely and handled the situation professionally. She ultimately removed the steak from the bill, which I truly appreciated and which helped soften the experience. While the service missteps and kitchen issues left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, this place has earned a lot of goodwill with me over time. I do plan to return, but I'll admit I'm feeling a little uneasy and hopeful that this visit was just an off night rather than a trend.

Do you have to make reservations for two?

No why would you think you did.

    Is brunch served all day?

If that's what it says on their website, then yes. Otherwise, no.

Is it hot out on the patio?

Go later in the evening after the sun sets. You will be just fine. It's Texas. It's hot from June -September. But it's tolerable with enough margaritas.

Is there an area in the restaurant that could accommodate a group of about 20-30 people?

Yes, but I am sure reservations would be required to secure the spot!

What time is the brunch menu served? Can you order off of the regular menu during brunch?

    Yes.

Can you make reservations for a party of 4?

Yes you can, I was there celebrating a friend's birthday 2 weeks ago with a party of 12.

    What are weekend brunch hours?

    It's usually during the weekend.

Is this place suitable for young children? Kids menu?

Yes. Children are fine. Unsure of a kids menu.

Are you doing Bottomless Sunday Brunches?

They are not bottomless but they are mimosa flights with a couple of juices of your choice. Delicious

    What are the hours?

    Try going when they're open.

Private room for 7 adults and 3 kids?

I believe you'd have to coordinate with the event coordinator

Is this establishment just for 21+?

    No. It’s a restaurant

Are there heaters on the patio?

    Yes there are.

    Is this patio dog friendly?

    Only service animals allowed

Is the brunch menu available on weekdays or just weekends? Thank you!

    Saturday & Sunday till 4.

Do they serve brunch on Saturdays?

Absolutely! We would love to have you here! Please check out our website for menu details.

Would you recommend this place for a nice night out for Valentine's Day?

Definitely. It may not be intimate and quiet, but the food is terrific.

How many people will fit in the Airstream seating area?

    12-14 ppl comfortably!

Hey y'all, how is the parking situation? Do they have a private lot?? Thanks!!

Lots of parking for Legacy West area, not far from restaurant...follow the signs for parking nearest the restaurant -2 minute covered walk most of way at most!

Does this have any good vegetarian options?

I think there were options but they would all be ala carte.

Music was loud enough to where I could hear my husband across the table but not anyone else around me. We could still hear the comforting sound of the fountain and fans that blew a cooling mist too! We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it came out in literally 60 seconds. Bread didn't taste like pretzels, but it was tasty and the sauces yummy. Like, I could order the bites and some beers and be perfectly content. But I was here for the fish n chips and I was so happy! I'd have preferred a full filet of fish, but the batter was so crispy and salty (I love salt!). Fries were okay and basic but not bad with malt vinegar (I can literally drink that stuff!). Husband got the elite brisket flatbread. It was huge and honestly we'll probably just split this next time we come. It was delicious and back of the throat spicy, but the topics were outstanding and brisket was tender!! Service was soooo quick and easy and the waitress has the decency to look away as you tip. We ordered the Boss Hog flatbread, chips and queso, and two margaritas the Skinny Bear on the rocks and the Caddy frozen margarita. We definitely enjoyed the happy hour discounts, which made the visit even better. We started with our drinks, and both margaritas were mixed very well. The Skinny Bear did seem a little stronger, but both had great flavor and were easy to enjoy. For appetizers, we ordered the chips and queso. The chips were thin, crispy, and had a nice dash of seasoning on them, but we do wish they had been served hot. The queso was warm, but not piping hot, and the texture was a little gritty, almost powder-like. We were expecting a creamier cheese, so it was good, but not our favorite part of the meal. Now, the star of the show was definitely the Boss Hog flatbread. It was cooked to perfection, baked really well, and had that nice crispy texture. The toppings were generous, and every bite had great flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The ambiance was also amazing. We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back to try more menu items, and I recommend Union Bear for a cute date night, happy hour, or a laid back evening with good drinks and food.

The sauce on top and all of the flavors combined make this an excellent way to end the meal.

It was super busy when we arrived, but we were seated right away. A team member came by with water, and after a few minutes, our server took our order. The NA blackberry sage and soda was refreshing, and we enjoyed the gluten free bacon wrapped dates. We also ordered a board with the tam and cheddar cheeses, coppa and prosciutto, almonds, honeycomb, and gluten free bread. The serving size was perfect for two people, and I loved the tam. We enjoyed our meal and definitely will be back to try other menu items.

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.

The steak was cooked perfectly has potential to be amazing just needs spices desperately needs some spices . The French fries they covered with paprika but the steak nothing Husband had the French dip , he loved it . He loved the bread said he was able to eat it without having to tear it with his teeth , some hoagies are tough , this wasn't just nice and soft . The meat was tender, not fatty and but held together such as you could dip it without having a giant mass of meat inside the sauce, it was actually in the sandwich you could dip it, eat it, but it was soft enough that you could eat it. Was loud inside and cold. Our waiter was so nice , up until he walked up my husband wanted to leave . Cause people that came in after us were being offered water and no one had said anything to us . I am gluten free, there wasn't much attention given to my food allergy. But I can manage and know how to protect myself. The waiter wrote down my food allergy but didn't seem to pay it any mind Update : see below they said email them I did no response
