Pickleball policy effective dec 1, 2022

New policy on Pickleball very expensive and inconvenient. No more open play in the mornings or evenings. Athletic membership no longer covers Pickleball, must pay $10/hour. Jody, at the front desk, acts like she hates working at the club and is very unfriendly. The accommodations are old and musty.

My husband and I along with our two children ages 7 and 9 have been members since January 2011. The facilities are old and out of date but we were willing to put that aside because of the amenities offered. However, on a recent trip all of that changed. We were advised that although our membership offers both an indoor and an outdoor pool they are only willing to staff one pool at a time to save a buck. Due to these rules of the club, my family was forced to swim indoors based on majority rules.Tthe decision was not made by the staff but instead by that of the eight 10 year olds in the pool at the time. As a second insult to members, the club offers summer camps to non-members to earn a few extra bucks. What that essentially means is that parents come drop their kids off in the AM and those kids are left to run amok in the facility until the end of the day. Those were the same kids who chose to swim indoors. When I tried to get a resolution from the General Manager of the facility, she was not willing to do anything to help. In fact, she was belligerent. I explained there were three certified lifeguards sitting in the Junior Center of the building with nothing to do and she still refused to part with the "rules" she implemented. Is that the kind of service I want to spend $134.17 per month on? I think not!!

The fitness area is so outdated and dark. It really needs to be remodeled. The membership price is way too high for the quality you get.

Outdated facility. Good to come for some group activities (golf, tennis, basketball, etc) but don't expect anything too outstanding.

In the fall you can get the sunset over the 9th hole if you time it right. super kid friendly and the people that live on this course have always been friendly and inviting.

Disappointing first experience…read more I normally never leave reviews, especially since I'm only 24, but I felt like I had to share this. This was my first time ever golfing, and unfortunately the experience was ruined by an older employee who repeatedly came up to me and my two cousins with an attitude, telling us to "hurry up" because people were behind us. We were already trying to move quickly--at times literally jogging to our balls and getting ready for our next shots. The group behind us was actually very nice and didn't seem bothered by our pace. There were also people ahead of us, so there were times we physically couldn't move any faster. At one point, the employee walked up to us and said, "Yeah, you guys need to hurry up." I explained that it was my first time golfing, but he continued to speak to us rudely. He also asked if I had clubs, and when I explained that I was borrowing my cousin's because I didn't realize I needed to rent my own, he responded with the same attitude instead of simply explaining the policy. We were respectful and apologized, but he continued watching us and making us feel like we were a problem. We eventually stopped playing the hole because it felt like we were about to be kicked out. I understand keeping pace is important on a golf course, but there's a respectful way to communicate that, especially to someone playing for the first time. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun first golfing experience ended up being really uncomfortable because of one employee's attitude. I hope management addresses this because nobody should leave their first experience feeling unwelcome.

I loved the quirky style and I am so happy that the business is doing so well. We stopped here because it is a dog friendly activity, even though it's indoors and we love to take out pup with us when we travel. We did not realize how busy it would be on a weekday morning. Despite the story and cute surroundings, it was packed inside and people were really smushed into the small space just waiting on the people in front of them. Some of the holes, like the one that moves, were really impossible to do. The design seemed to be focused on aesthetic instead of functionality. The fact that the space was so cramped and loud and hot really diminished the experience for us. The kids running and screaming and the crunchy parents that seemed to be fine with them standing in the way just made the whole thing an uncomfortable and chaotic. Again, crowds are a huge endorsement of how much people must like this place, but for us, it just felt so rushed and overwhelming that it really dampened our experience.

It's a whimsical nine-hole indoor mini-golf course doubled as a scavenger hunt, packed with vibrant characters at every turn. It's a quick, creative activity that's absolutely bursting with charm. We had a blast and topped off the experience at the themed cafe next door!
