I love this club! I've been a member here for 35 years, and have been using it consistently (almost daily) for the entire time. They have everything a fitness enthusiast could possibly ask for: (2) beautiful, clean (saltwater) pools, spa, steam, sauna. I'm a lap swimmer, so I really appreciate these. Upstairs is a great weight and cardio area with ALL the bells and whistles, plus a great indoor walking track for the winter months. I'm not a tennis or pickleball player, but they have quite a few courts, both indoor and outdoor. They have quite a large staff, and in my experience they're all consistently professional and courteous and provide excellent service. They even have a bar with food on the premises which is normally open during late afternoon / early evening. They used to have a "junior center" here, prior to the pandemic, but unfortunately it has not re-opened since then. This lack of service and amenities for kids is my only complaint. Quite a few of the reviews here mention the fact that the building is "old and outdated". Yes, the building is older, but considering the HUGE scope and incredible variety of amenities, I can easily overlook that minor issue. In general, the staff do an excellent job of maintaining the building and equipment. One more thing, their dues are VERY reasonable, especially if you're just using their athletic / fitness facilities (as opposed to golf and tennis). Their pricing structure charges different amounts depending on whether you're a golf, tennis, or athletic member. read more

Club Green Meadows is an older facility and it does need work, but they are working on it a little at a time. It's not a shiny new facility and some people can't see past that. In my opinion, their loss. This club is not only the best bang for your buck in Clark County with all the ammenities it offers but management and whole staff (incl Jody) do a great job. Everyone is nice and helpful. Someone mentioned VTC for tennis, I am still a member there and like the classes and pros a lot, but it's next to impossible to get a court. And while the annual dues my be low, it's very expensive overall. CGM has several days of free play for men and women, they provide balls for our tennis matches and Carlos & Emory are just the best. I love the fact that it is private and they limit the membership so we can all use the facility for tennis, pickleball, gym, pools, saunas, classes, etc., when we want. read more

A lot of good employees, but management is "the customer comes last" at all times. The rudeness of Jody and the general ghosting by management whenever there is a problem makes VTC a much better choice for a serious tennis player. The best proof is management knows that Jody is a problem for the members (see the posts here), but doesn't care. Sort of sad because Carlos and his group are really trying. Knew the former owners, and can tell you don wouldn't have put up with it (now both deceased). Pretty well known person who gets around who normally you wouldn't want to offend too much, but you reap what you sow. read more

it's a really nice place to take tennis lessons but it's a very outdated facility. I walked in for the first time and felt like I was back in the 70's. Very old furniture and chairs are wobbly and such, it really needs a huge update to it to be able to attract more people to the club. it has a bowling alley that could be hopefully used one day once again. The staff is very nice except for this one older gal that always likes to yell at our kids when we go in for our lesson. She can be very rude. Our family just joined Green Meadows again to take advantage of the pickleball and workout facilities. I love the price for our family membership and not having to wait for workout machines, swimming or pickleball courts. For the location and amenities, it is the best club in town! Only drawback is the hours, would like it to be open earlier and stay open later due to our work schedules. read more

New policy on Pickleball very expensive and inconvenient. No more open play in the mornings or evenings. Athletic membership no longer covers Pickleball, must pay $10/hour. I recently went there ( about a month ago 6/2021 ish to check out a membership for my son and I. I wanted golf included. I wasn't offered a tour at all. Just a paper w prices. I've read the reviews prior to going in so I think I understand. I'm not to concerned about it being outdated. I really want the golf. And wanted to give my 16 year old some fun stuff to do since we are new to the area. So I called the next day and booked a tee time. Showed up loaded up my push cart and rolled in. It's members only. I honestly spaced that part just excited to play and hopefully join. I was turned away. I asked if I could talk w a manager and would pay any greens fees. I didn't care what price it was. And was told she was gone. No one could make the choice but here. I asked if they could call her on the phone and told them I was there the day before inquiring about a membership and wanted to join. Just wanted to make sure the golf course wasn't crappy. In a 9 handicap. And told the kid I wasn't just a hack. Needless to say I got turned away. It's sad !! I own my own company. The lack of customer service and not having someone there who can make decisions is very sad for a business. This in my opinion should of been very simple ( considering it was very dead and there was no one playing golf ) !! Very disappointed !!!! read more

Went to inquire about a golf membership today. I have have golfed at many TPC's around the country. I have even been booted from a driving range for not wearing a collar. But the Club Green Meadows front desk staff person was by far the least pleasant person I have met at any course. If you wanna sell memberships, move this person from the front desk. The two young ladies were sweet, but the older lady was cranky and displayed zero customer service skills. Horrible first impression. I will pay green fees elsewhere. My husband and I along with our two children ages 7 and 9 have been members since January 2011. The facilities are old and out of date but we were willing to put that aside because of the amenities offered. However, on a recent trip all of that changed. We were advised that although our membership offers both an indoor and an outdoor pool they are only willing to staff one pool at a time to save a buck. Due to these rules of the club, my family was forced to swim indoors based on majority rules.Tthe decision was not made by the staff but instead by that of the eight 10 year olds in the pool at the time. As a second insult to members, the club offers summer camps to non-members to earn a few extra bucks. What that essentially means is that parents come drop their kids off in the AM and those kids are left to run amok in the facility until the end of the day. Those were the same kids who chose to swim indoors. When I tried to get a resolution from the General Manager of the facility, she was not willing to do anything to help. In fact, she was belligerent. I explained there were three certified lifeguards sitting in the Junior Center of the building with nothing to do and she still refused to part with the "rules" she implemented. Is that the kind of service I want to spend $134.17 per month on? I think not!! read more

We still love this place! A family of four no contract, no fee club membership for 135/month is a steal. There are two pools, hot tub, sauna, steam room, basketball, racquetball, bowling alley for the kids, a mat room, indoor track, weights, golf course and full tennis center. Hmm what am I forgetting? Oh yes - free wi fi, a restaurant, a pro shop, a banquet room, foosball, squash courts, handball, tons of cardio machines, tanning beds, a spa with permanent cosmetics offered (my husband and i once got tattooed there) and so what if the place is a bit dated and the decor is old? Yoga, tai chi, Zumba classes all included in monthly fees. Swimming lessons, tennis lessons, golf lessons if you want to pay for a pro. Go to LA Fitness pay more money and have less fun! read more

I haven't been a member for a few months now. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone. It's literally less than a mile from my house and I choose to drive ten minutes to a better gym. High prices, disgusting carpet, old ass gym, shit talking personal trainer, just a hot mess. I did personal training a few times and literally all the trainer talked about was the owner and how the only reason they were still in business was because the building was already paid for. I will not repeat the hurtful things the trainer said about the owner, because if they were to read this I think it would be unnecessarily harmful. Additionally, I had to basically beg to pay my monthly dues. I am talking being transferred, calling multiples times, leaving voicemail- just to try and pay my bill. It was incredibly ridiculous. The womens locker room is so dated it looks like the scene of some horror movies. Its just gross and depressing all around. read more

We have been members off and on since 1995. Yes the club is old. Yes it needs work. However, there isn't anyplace in the Vancouver, WA area where you can get so much for the price. Free personal trainer for new members, 2 pools, sauna, hot tub, cafe, golf, bowling, basketball, pickle ball, tennis, handball, racket ball and swimming. Yoga classes, kick boxing, spin classes and Zumba. It does need to do some necessary repairs like the roof. It leaks like a sieve when it rains. The carpets could use a good shampoo also. I've only attended Green Meadows once, and that was for a party being held there. It's true, the place could use some updating, but I understand the capital for those things doesn't come easy. No big deal. The food was good, accommodations were comfortable, and the catering staff were welcoming. However upon leaving, we were treated extremely rudely by the reception staff member. Apparently there are many ways to exit, but there was no clear signage to indicate the proper door. So my husband naturally left the same way we came in, which was, we soon found out, the "wrong way". (There were plants placed there, but you could easily walk around them. So we didn't realize it was the wrong door.) Note, the "proper door" emptied into the same area, so it's not like we were entering restricted territory by doing this. The receptionist kept loudly harping "THE OTHER WAY. GO THE OTHER WAY," without providing any further direction. Having never been there before, we weren't sure what "the other way" meant, as it's a huge, open room -- not a hallway. And by the time we heard her and I stopped to figure out what she was yelling about, she turned and physically rolled her eyes at us. Surely there are better ways of communicating with your guests that don't include treating them like an inconvenience. When your facilities are in such a dire need of an update, what keeps you afloat is your customer service. Hopefully you can find reception staff who understand the importance of this. I just joined 8/27/2018, so this is my initial take. I personally like the retro funkiness of the club. It feels straight out of the 70's/80's, just like the clubs my family went to when I was a kid. So far, I'm loving it. Yes, it is old, and it does smell funny in places, and it does need some new carpet/flooring and paint, but it seems to be in decent shape where it counts. I love that it has a steam room, a dry sauna, a Jacuzzi and a lap pool - it's hard to find a gym that has all of those things, especially at their price. I'm looking forward to playing racquetball again and hopefully finding some good old man pickup basketball games, not to mention playing tennis and golf. I'll post again in a few months after I've had more time to evaluate. read more

I'm a CGM fan. This place is pretty "old-school" in terms of the facilities. It feels like it was built in the 1970s and that not much has changed since then. But, I don't mind the retro feel. While the place does feel a bit dated, it would really be hard to build a place of this size today. It is huge! Golf course, bowling alley, many racquetball courts, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sand volleyball court, kids club, restaurant, banquet facilities, indoor track, lots of weights, machines, and so on. My daughter is 13 and enjoys going. I would say it is kid friendly, but there are limited hours when kids are allowed in. During weekdays, kids are allowed between 3:00 PM and 8:30 PM. But during weekends, vacations, etc., kids can come in at noon. The club seems to make its money from banquets and leasing out the basketball courts to kids teams, so even when the parking lot is full, there is always a lot of workout equipment available. I have been a member at Green Meadows since 1987. The people that work there have been great over the years, but they do tend to change. Green Meadows Tennis stringing services is an unscrupulous retail service. They do not honor their customer request or feel responsible for poor communication on their part. When having made a mistake in what you requested they twist and lie about what happened to fit their needs. Instead of contacting you like you wrote down in your stringing request, they partially assume they know what you want and fulfill an order based on how they wish to read your instructions. When you left messages 4 times they claim they never received a message from you. I would proceed with great caution before I would have my tennis racquet strung by Sarah or have dealings with their Pros. read more

Our family has been paying monthly dues at Green Meadows for years, Now that our kids are teenagers and can utilize the facility to train, we were informed that there are futher black out times for the gym than what has been in the contract. It's not that there is restrictions, its how often and for what reason. One example is that 3 times a week, 2 evenings and Saturday morning(times that are usefull to kids) are restricted because 1 of the 3 basketball courts is being used by older men. Leaders of our community, examples for our youth. This leaves 2 open courts. The reason the kids are banned from these times is because the men use profanity and the manager fails to hold the 50+ year old men accountable. Instead, she kicked the kids out. Keep in mind that for 6 months out of the year, kids are not allowed in the facility until after 3:30pm! The place is canvernous during the day. When we, and others, spoke with the management, she had an I dont care attitude and basically told us to go some where else. I expect that is much easier for her to do than manage the facility, like she is being paid to do. This is without a doubt the most un proffesional fitness club that we have ever experienced. I think that the Green Meadows Club has a great upside as the workouts and the space. The workout machines are really a mix of old and new that is really a good thing. Well lit in all areas and the pools are really good as well, though older and in need of some upgrading. In the past several months the appearance and the maintenance of the facility has made giant upgrades. Painting, new carpets, cleaning and maintenance on the equipment by the new employees is just superb and has not gone unnoticed. The only down side that I have noticed is the front desk mangers attitude. Her tone and style of talking with people is just demeaning and disrespectful. If I experienced her disrespectful and godly above all others tone only once I would not say anything, but this has happened to me personally and I have seen it happen to others several times. For my goals this place is just fine, thought I do think the prices for members golf green fees are extremely high compared to the other courses in the area. read more

My wife and I have been members since 2000. The facilities are older but the maintenance crew works hard to keep the building up. That said the facility is awesome. The basketball courts are great, the racquetball courts are excellent and the gym equipment is always in great shape. Adrian (trainer) is so knowledgeable to get you back in shape and help you recover from injuries. The yoga staff is totally awesum and have changed my life. They gym is geared toward adults and I love that. This is my sanctuary and my wife and I would never go anywhere else. LOVE GREEN MEADOWS! read more

Sure, the facility is a bit old, but they have great staff and their facility and equipment are well maintained. It's never too busy for a quick workout, and the kids like the pool. Haven't tried the golf course yet. read more

The Cafe was terrible!On 10/21/16 we were there for 2 days for a sports district meet. WE wanted to take out for the boys so they could continue to watch the matches at the galley. Waited over 30minutes for a Beef Dip which was supposedly "lost" or taken by someone else said the waitress. There were only 3 tables when we put our orders in and a few people came in after us. We watched all these people 4-5 who came in after us got their orders, 2 of them also had the Beef Dips. When I asked for the 3rd time,she realized my order was either given away by mistake or never made.A "rush order was given to the kitchen and when she was packing them up (the Grilled cheese was cold by then),We noticed there was no dipping broth. She said, "you ordered a roast beef sandwich?"I told her to look at her original order again. Suddenly another waitress just coming on her shift found a box sitting on the side of counter and there was the Beef Dip ( probably sitting over 20mins and cold) and she just packed it up with the cold Grilled cheese with no apologies- but actually blaming me for the confusion when she asked fthe kitchen to redo my order as a Roast beef instead of a beef Dip. The whole time she went on at how she was ready to called it the day and just leave.She blamed all the errors on the crowds that came to see the tournaments but there were only 3 tables when we first got there. I am devastated right now. My two older boys and I had so much fun in the outdoor pool last summer. We swam every day while my infant slept in his seat in the shade. This year, we were looking forward to more fun in the sun, but we essentially got kicked out of the indoor pool today. Here's why: a parent has to be in the water with their children if those children are under age 7. This is regardless of whether or not the children are strong swimmers, or if they are wearing life jackets. Additionally, children who are not yet potty trained are not allowed in the pool. Period. Not even if you have a rubber swim diaper. (Nothing gets through these things!) Because of these ridiculously stringent rules, it will be impossible for me to swim with my boys. I have to be in the pool with my older guys, but my one year old is not allowed. What am I supposed to do? Haul a playpen and a bunch of toys to put in the shade? Maybe. I think we will join Lake Shore instead. I used to work there, and they cater to children and the elderly. On a side note, the teenage lifeguard staff are phenomenal. They are fun, friendly, and basically parent the children who get dumped off there every day, all day. I will miss Taylor and Cameron. read more
