We ordered our drinks, which came in small pitchers -- a different approach, though I imagine it might lead to some waste. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries to share, and when it came out, the server had already cut the burger in half and split the fries between two plates, which was a nice touch. The burger was really good, and the fries were just as good. After finishing, we ordered a chocolate shake, and it was excellent. Overall, NN Burger was a great find along our drive. Our server worked hard throughout the evening to ensure everything was smooth and that we had an excellent dining experience. The food was fantastic. A few of us ordered the 40 oz. Tomahawk steak with shrimp and two sides, and it was easily one of the best steaks I've had. While $120 is definitely an investment, it was well worth it, the meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The sauce on the side complemented it nicely, the sides were delicious, and the presentation really elevated the entire dish. It's also large enough to easily feed two people. Others at the table enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the surf and turf special (ribeye and shrimp for $40), a fish sandwich, and a ribeye steak and cheese. Everything that came out looked and tasted great. They also brought out complimentary bread with a homemade dipping sauce, which was a nice touch. You can tell they take pride in their food--we got the sense that much of it is made in-house. We also tried a few desserts, and they did not disappoint. The carrot cake, in particular, was one of the best I've had. Inside the restaurant was large and looked like they could host banquet and parties. We even had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner, Tony, and were impressed by his background and passion for what he does. We did not ask her to take it back she just took it when we were saying it's fine. The manager came up to the table and said the steak has been half way dug into. We told her that it's fine and she still took it. So she went back and got the server to bring the food back to our table. We were expecting them to recook it especially since it was took back to the kitchen. I asked them to just take the steak off of the tab and she just took the steak off and made us pay for the broccoli and the mashed potatoes that she did not even touch.
