Communication is consistently poor, and concerns are routinely dismissed rather than addressed. The facility itself is run-down, offers virtually no amenities, and provides little to no meaningful or consistent activities for residents. Morale among staff is visibly low, which is not surprising given the extreme staff turnover--faces change so often it's impossible to know who is responsible for care at any given time. This lack of continuity directly affects the quality and consistency of care residents receive. Dining options are another major disappointment. When food is edible, the best description would be subpar cafeteria-style meals, far below what should be expected for the cost of assisted living. The most troubling issue, however, is being charged for care that is not being provided. Safety checks are billed every two hours, yet during visits lasting 4-6 hours, no staff members come to check on my mother. When asked directly, my mother--who does NOT have dementia--confirms that no one checks on her every two hours. When this is brought to staff or "management," the response is simply that someone signed off on it, so it must have happened. There is no investigation, accountability, or concern--just continued billing. As for management, I use that term loosely. From top to bottom, no one has demonstrated professionalism, accountability, or leadership. Concerns are deflected, documentation is treated as fact over lived reality, and families are left feeling ignored and frustrated. This community charges premium rates while delivering substandard care, poor oversight, and an overall disappointing experience. Families deserve transparency, dignity, and reliable care for their loved ones--none of which are present here.

Every single staff member I have met there is filled with kindness, compassion, humor, and a strong desire to help in any way. The management went out of their way to ease my mother's fears and my hesitation. Mom has only been there a few days but she is getting the best care I think she can possibly get. She is very well cared for, kept as safe as possible, and is quite content; she does not seem stressed or worried. The caring and attentive staff constantly monitor her moods and needs, and are always available to sit with her if she is ever distressed or confused. She also really likes the food- and she is quite a picky eater. Further, the staff provide transportation and assistance as needed to my mother's doctor's appointments (COVID restrictions permitting). Aegis provides a wide variety of activities to keep their residents occupied, and the staff consistently go out of their way to encourage family visits as long as it's safe. Importantly, the excellent care provided to the residents by the management and staff have kept the residents COVID-free. In sum, my family is most appreciative of the clean, safe, and caring environment provided by Aegis for our mother.

The residents complain constantly about their lack of care and nothing is done about it. Fire their managers/owners and replace them with AI, they can at least communicate.

Their caregivers always arrived on time and were excellent companions who helped me withstand the rigors of a very difficult treatment protocol. The agency's management staff was also very easy to work with. Services and charges were clearly explained and the scheduling office went above and beyond in accommodating the inevitable changes in my treatment plans. Should I require caregiver services again in the future, I will definitely turn to Husky. I have already recommended the agency to several friends who are seeking senior care help.
