**March 2023: Thursday Evening Visit** It's been a really rough month for me so I wanted a day of pampering. My friend Eri recommended Fairytale Facials as an option to help me relax and considering our affinity for Disney I knew this would definitely be a treat! On most months this Spa has Disney fairytale backdrops, music, etc, but there are some months like May where it's Star Wars theme (to celebrate May the 4th be with you and Revenge of the 5th) so I decided to book two appointments before even trying her out! The spa is located at 12550 Brookhurst St, Unit G, Garden Grove CA 92840 (only 3 miles from Disneyland) between Lampson and Brookhurst in a white strip building, so the location is somewhat hidden, but there's ample parking for patrons. Emily, the adorable esthetician and business owner, is a one woman shop and she has three time slots (12pm, 3pm, and 6pm) four days a week (Wednesday- Saturday). Patrons would book through her Instagram Account @fairytalefacials for a two hour appointment - 20 minutes for a consultation, 1 hour for a facial, and 20 mins for a review. There are multiple food theme facial themes you could select and while most were $150, I wanted the works (It was a REALLY tough month) so I opted for the Premium Treatment for $165 and did the LED Light add on for $20. My skin was glowing at the end of the night. I loved the instrumental Disney music playing in the background and all the decor details in the lounge, bathroom, and treatment room. I LOVED all the details and the treatment was very luxurious - I think I even feel asleep because I was so relaxed and comfortable. lol I kind of want to keep this hidden gem a secret because I want all the appointments to myself, but stressed out professionals like myself need a place to feel like a princess and sharing is caring. I had the most amazing facial with Fairytale Facials! Every single detail was thoughtful and perfect. You need at least 15 minutes just to enjoy and fully take in Emily's devotion to her business through the decor and ambiance. Honestly I teared up because it was so breathtaking. Absolutely AMAZING. So I had an appt yesterday and I had to wait the full day to see how my face reacted before reviewing I'm going to try to break this in to mini sections. Also for those Disney adults who never got to experience the bibbidi bobbidi boutique experience at Disneyland as a child while you will now get to experience it in the adult version. Let's talk about the facial it's self so I went in explained my concerns and things I want to correct on my face. Not only did Emily educate me on the products I was using but she also helped guide me in the right path of how to properly care for my skin. I originally had planned to do the caramel facial but after going over my concerns she's told me what would be great for my skin.At the moment I knew she truly cared about my face needs rather then just selling me what I originally ordered. Emily really took time to listen to everything I had to say and ran with it to mix up the perfect facial for my specific skin type. I told her my face is so dry that it then produces so much oil to the point where if I wipe my hand on my face my hand will shine with oil. OMG when I woke up this morning I was expecting for the oil to be there. My face looked glowing but I thought it was just my normal oily face when I went to do my hand touch I was mind blown. My face felt moisturizing not oily moisturizing and not one ounce of oil showed on my fingers. She also recommended some face products in her shop that she felt would be great for me to transition too. When I used it for the first time on my own last night my skin felt sooooo clean BUT it didn't feel dry like my go to wash feels like. The moisturizing cream I purchased from her when i woke up I expected to have a break out or have a bunch of grease on my face like how my go to moisturizer leaves me in the morning while i had not a single break out and still no oily face. Emily is literally the fairly god mother of facials. Do not hesitate at all book your facial!!! I already book my next appt The decorations. Can I just say I feel in love when you walk in you will be so amazed and she was nice enough to give me a tour. Make sure to Look up, Look down and pay attention to detail because there is so much hidden Disney I swear every time I looked somewhere I saw something new. If you're not a big Disney adult and feel like based off the photos in the reviews you wouldn't like the vibe trust me you will. Her decoration is Disney but it's like grown decoration not like little kid decoration. My husband is not a big Disney fan but he was in ohhhs and awwws when he saw the spa and if your not a Disney fan at all do not I repeat do not let this opportunity of getting an amazing facial by some one who truly cares get passed you. If your going to spa place that doesn't feel welcoming and just screen franchise business just know they don't care what your face needs they are just out for your money. Here you will feel the welcomeness and know she truly cares about your facial needs. Yes she may or may not recommend some products to you that she feels may benefit you but that's it she's just recommending it. I didn't feel pressured at all to purchase anything. she brought it up only at the beginning of the consultation and that was it. She didn't push it on me or try to sell me I was the one who approached her and asked she show me the products she recommends I get started on using. If you're still here reading my review I mean that's great but seriously you're wasting time on making that booking !!! She books fast so don't hesitate go go go !!!
