Came here for a quick work lunch. It's been a while, but I remember it not being bad. First, I'm very pleasantly surprised by how quick the drive thru went. I mean they could give most fast food places a run for their money. Efficient! Kept it simple with the birria fries, and the carnitas plate. I will say this, for the price and quickness the fries were amazing! I mean it won't hold a candle to Mexican Cowboy, but a cheaper version that doesn't taste too shabby. The birria was tender and flavorful, just wish it was more soaked in the consume. The carnitas were just ok. They were a little dry. Also not a big fan of this style of beans. Other than that it's very affordable and a ten times better place than taco cabana. Have had other plates in the past and the fajitas are also pretty good! Will bring fam here soon. Interested to get their opinion as well!

Monday through Friday lunch specials 11-3 includes a huge tea. After 3 lunch specials are $1 more. They offer two different lunch specials per day and you can select the meat on the mini tacos and quesadillas. Drive through is fast. They deliver. No dine in. Charro beans are the best. They provide three different salsas. Everyday taco specials are $2 chicken fajita $1.50 carnitas and $1 bean and cheese

Their 3 taco special. Meat was ok, but I left nothing on the plate :-)

This is a solid spot for your fajita fix! I used them for a party I had and their fajitas and carnitas were a hit. You will have to set it out to present it nicely but the flavors are great. Love their unsweetened iced tea. I get a large and can get 3 servings out of it. It's bomb with a squirt of crystal light. I always get a side of pico de gallo and enjoy the 1lb mixed fajita that come with tortillas rice beans and salad for my family of 4 Their hard tacos were ok, but I'll be back for my fajitas, carnitas, and fajita salad!

The fries are the only food I get from here! Unless sometimes I order breakfast tacos! Which are good too! The fries have always been fresh they hook you up with a lot of meat and cheese which makes the fries a lil soggy after sitting so must eat as soon as you grab these bad boys! But other than that I always go through the drive thru. The inside is pretty small! Tres leches cake is amazing as well! As far as drive thru goes it could be fast but usually takes a good minute since the food is fresh!

First time coming here. Decent amount of food. I got the Beef Fajita plate. Enough food for 2 big tacos and then some. The flour tortillas are BIG compared to other places down the road. The boracho beans were flavorful and not super salty. Rice was good as well. If you're in mood for some quick Mexican food I'd recommend here over Las Palapas.

I usually order breakfast tacos from Fajita Express. This time I ordered the chicken fajita plate. Wow! Delicious the rice, beans and tortillas were on point as well. And it was a lot of food too! I split the one plate up over THREE MEALS

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! And they have a rooftop bar.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
