    Chile Relleno

This rather unassuming and unique cantina, was certainly a diamond in the rough. They split the place with an Italian restaurant. Not sure if the Italian side and the cantina side share the same kitchen, but we will remember to come back and try that side as well. If the Italian menu and preparation is as unique as the cantina's, it will be a worthy adventure. For our appetizer we got the cheese dish pictured. I can not recall the name, but the cheese is a cool light cheese served in a warm tomato-based sauce, topped with slices of fresh avocados and chicharones and was served with flour and corn tortillas. Very delicious! As mentioned in the opening...the menu, preparation, and presentation at Panfila is unique. For our entrees my wife got the chile Relleno and I got the Milanese con Mole. The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!

La comida y el servicio siempre esta phenomenal! Ive been here twice and both times the food and service and vibes were 10/10. I recommend the cafe de olla y el flan the most theyre delicious. Its a nicely decorated restaurant and the music is great too! My new go to for brunch or happy hour.

Panfila is not your traditional Mexican restaurant. The menu is not what you would traditionally find in Mexican food, it's definitely a unique menu. The ambience is very rustic with lots of Mexican artwork. Everything is very clean and well kept and they have a very small bar area. We ordered a bean dip that had cheese, chorizo, and pork rinds, served with tortilla chips. The dip was OK, I'm not sure what flavor I was looking for, but I wasn't crazy about it. But the chips were really good, they were hot and fresh and well seasoned. My husband ordered the fideo and wasn't too crazy about it, just lacked some flavor. We also ordered the green chicken enchiladas, which came with a side of rice and beans and that was definitely impressive! The enchiladas had a very good flavor and the sauce tasted freshly made. Not only did they look beautiful, but they tasted great! The service was OK, once the food was delivered we weren't checked on for quite some time and had to wave someone down for a drink refills. Other than that, they were very friendly.

I came mainly to try the huge concha with the 1-gallon café de olla, and it did not disappoint. Both were absolutely delicious, the concha was massive, soft, and flavorful, and the café de olla was rich, comforting, and perfect to share. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The place itself was nice and welcoming, and overall it was a great experience. I'd definitely come back again to try their food.

In a little shopping center with plenty of parking. Interesting little spot. Walk in and choose if you want Mexican or Italian! Whichever you choose will decide where you're seated. Chose Mexican. But had to walk in and check out the Italian spit. Really cute and I want to go back to try it! Started with a request for a carajillo. Not on the menu, but they made it AND it was delish! Stared with a queso that was odd looking more like hummus, but it tasted fine. Texture just threw me off. Ordered street tacos for dinner and took the waiter's recommendation. Alambre tacos were full of goodness. Salsa was hot but good. Had to end with churros. They were a treat after dinner sweet treat! Yummy food, good drink, good service. Definitely want to come back to try more!!

We headed to Panfila for the XL concha. I called ahead to see if I had to pre order it and I was told it was stall the time. I also asked if I could make a reservation. They told me that they don't take reservations on the weekend. And that by 11am there would be about an hour wait. We showed up at 10:15am on a Saturday. They would seat incomplete parties. But there wasn't a wait. Order the concha and three plates. The food was good. The concha was dry and could use more flavor. But it was super big and mostly a novelty. I would not order it again unless we wanted a picture. The food was good and I'd be back for brunch.

Went on Saturday for Valentines breakfast with my family ( 4 of us). Let me start by saying I know this means longer wait times than usual, but we got there before the rush started. Once we got sat, it took our server almost 10 minutes to greet us, he had 5 other tables he was helping. I counted, because he passed our table 3 times, and not once did he say, I'll be with you shortly. Nothing. Once we were greeted, we took advantage and not only did we order drinks but our food also, since we overheard the couple in the table behind us saying they had been waiting 30 minutes for their food and they had just ordered pancakes and eggs. Anywho, after putting in our order, I went to the restroom. Let me say, for a restaurant that is going to charge $15 plus for most of their plates, their restrooms were in horrible shape. There were two stalls, the small stall was the only one that was able to lock properly and had a little bit of toilet paper left. There were also napkins put in top of the toilet. The second stall, which was for the disabled, had no toilet paper. The toilet paper holder was broken, napkins were put on top of the toilet and the door did not lock. The soap dispenser was broken so there was a small Soft-soap you could use but most of it was filled with water. Once I got back to my table, waited for a bit for our drinks. I got the cafe de olla, which tasted burnt, the Oj my bf got was good, strawberry lemonade was also good and the champurrado was also good. As we waited for our food, 20 minutes in, I waived our served over to let him know if the pancakes for my youngest were ready before the rest of the food he could bring them out. He said our food was almost out, and he left. Waited another bit and food was brought out by another person. We didn't see our server again until it was time to pay. Food was warm by the time it came out, but good. Would I go back, NO! Service was definitely lacking, restrooms needed to be tended to. Knowing they would be busy that weekend why wouldn't they get the RR cleaned up. That's embarrassing in my opinion. Overall, this place is not on my list to return. 1.5 out of 5.

First time at this location. Main reason I came here was for their famous large Concha. I didn't order it because it cost $50.0 but it's served with a large pot of chocolate feeds a large group of people. I came here for breakfast with my Fam. I ordered the panfila plate and other dishes that the family ordered. The dishes had a colorful presentation. Every dish had a well balanced flavor. Not salty. Even the salsa had authentic flavor. I also ordered their seasonal Pan de Los Muertos. It is sweet bread, Sweet Soft and fluffy This place did not disappoint. Service was great and the place is clean. I recommend you go there when they open cuz it gets packed by 11am on the weekend.

Came here with the hubby one morning! Breakfast is next-level, with bold, authentic flavors that hit every craving. The chilaquiles? Chef's kiss. Perfectly sauced, topped with a runny egg, and full of spice and comfort. And don't even get me started on the conchas--soft, fresh, and beautifully made. You can taste the tradition and care in every bite. Pair it with their café de olla or a signature cocktail, and you're golden. Whether you're coming for brunch, lunch, or just pan dulce and good vibes, Panfila delivers every single time. Highly recommend!

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. No wonder why the older bald waiter has that attitude. He steals from people and is backed up by their management. Would everything had been ok if they didn't use some scam like QR code? Or the waiter done his job instead of dropping off the tab and not asking a single soul out of a party of 7 to split or not, then this wouldn't even be an issue.
