Great service and nice presentation, but the food was just okay for the price. It felt overpriced, likely because of the location, and not really worth going back.

The food was amazing and served nice and hot just the way it should be. We had a great time eating here! Sergio provided us with amazing customer service!

I had never heard of Loz Azulejos prior to enjoying a team lunch event here this past week. As soon as I walked in I immediately fell in love with the bright blue and cheerful aesthetic. They had a table and area set up for us (since we were a party of 12) and Yareth and Diana saw to us having a perfect team lunch from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. We had two different pre-fixe menus to select from and for my meal I went with: - esquites for my appetizer. They were a little more watery than I like so some of the flavor from the toppings was lost - ribeye chapultepec as my entree. It was a very generous portion and the sauce (a combination of mezcal and piquillo peppers) was even tastier than I could have imagined and something I would have ever picked for myself if it hadn't been on the pre-fixe menu. Highly recommend. If they bottled the sauce I would totally buy some! - pastel de elote for dessert. YALL. this thing was another menu item that i likely wouldn't have ordered for myself but Yareth recommended it to me so I went with it as my selection. When it came out my mouth (and a few other's at the table) dropped open. It looked JUST LIKE an ear of grilled corn. The cornbread cake was perfeclty moist and the combo of the kettle corn flavored ice cream and cream was surprising and unexpectedly delicious. The service and food was incredible at Los Azulejos! I absolutely can't recommend it enough for a fantastic meal in the city.

Alll kinds of agua frescas The birria quesadillas were yummy The waitress was kind. Esquites was ok too. The portions were very large My husband had the torta cubano, and said it was ok. No kids menu but they do have options and items for kids It's in a strip mall and not too fancy inside. Nothing bad but nothing super memorable

I love this place but the service today was not good. I asked about the gluten free options or about certain food items and the waiter was confused and kept getting stuff mixed up and then she was walk away and take awhile to come back. After we ordered she didn't return to the table to check on us till the end. We even waited awhile for the check. Then she Hoovers super close while I'm trying to pay. It was uncomfortable. The food is always good. But check the menus before you come because they don't serve certain plates all day. I think they can be considered gluten friendly but it's just order at your own risk and ask questions because nothing is marked.

Outstanding dinner experience at this authentic restaurant! It was our last night on vacation in San Antonio (B4 heading back to Las Vegas, NV), and we wanted Mexican food! The restaurant is spacious with a bar. We were seated efficiently after arrival, in which we didn't have a reservation on a Monday night. Our male server was very friendly, and took his time to explain the menu. For the appetizer round, we ordered the guacamole with pieces of steak atop, which was so yummy! Our toddler had the chicken quesadillas and he loved it! My husband & I shared the pork pibil (tender & delicious), and the red snapper with rice - fresh and phenomenal! So elated to have found this amazing restaurant.

Came here for my dad's birthday dinner Sat Oct 18, I was able to get a reservation for 14 people (day before). Everything was great, my family and I had so much food and fun. Our waiter Sergio was attentive & made sure drinks were full. I don't know everyone's order but I got the Torta Cubana, so filling, fries were delicious as well. My family enjoyed their meals/drinks and the children even loved their agua freses in huge cups lol Btw this restaurant is so pretty

Came here for happy hour. After about an hour or so we were asked to leave. Not because we were rowdy or obnoxious . Get this... our waitress (even though she was being nice about it) said our spot had a reservation. Looking around, there were plenty of empty tables. Never experienced that before! We asked to sit at the bar to continue our dining experience. Nope. We then asked to sit outside in the patio area. They agreed. We should've just left, but we were in good company and wanted to finish catching up. So, we were nice about it, moved outside, and even ordered more! Food and drinks were decent. But being asked to leave because they couldn't handle their reservations better, nah. I prefer not to come back.

Yarith was a wonderful server. Our food was warm and fresh. I loved my creamy poblano soup. There are good lunch deals too. I got all this for $12-14 plus iced tea.

VERY attentive staff and the food is amazing!!! Came here post golf as a birthday dinner gift from a friend and we're were a party of three. They offer a happy hour as well. Very delicious and homemade food. Average noise level fast delivery of food and drink. Definitely recommend.

The food at Los Azulejos truly does have the authentic flavors of Mexico. This place is definitely not Tex-Mex and has stand alone flavors - so nice to have something different! The Poblano Chicken was excellent, fresh & flavorful. Service was good as well. Definitely want to return & try other dishes.

This is the first place I've tried and reviewed on yelp that I didn't previously have on my yelp bookmarks and I was blown away. Our server (I believe it was Stacy) was so attentive and kind, I definitely would want to have her again. We made reservations ahead of time and thank goodness because it does get busy during peak dining times! I can see why, everything looks delicious. I ordered the Molletes, something totally out of my comfort zone but it was recommended by our waitress and I ended up devouring it. I do wish the pork belly was more on the moist side (it was more like a chicharron texture but not as crunchy) but it still had great flavor. 10/10 would definitely order again. We also had the guacamole, chips and salsa to start (chips & salsa were complimentary). Guacamole was good, but not as flavorful as it could've been. Definitely needs some more lime , salt, and cilantro. Otherwise great color and consistency. Loved the chips & salsa, very fresh!! My friend ordered the omelette a la mexicana and she really enjoyed it. It looked delicious and full of veggies and cheese! My friend and I both agreed we will be returning mostly for the service and vibes but absolutely for the food as well!

My self and 19 others spontaneously arrived here after having a good time at Monster Mini Golf. I had no idea what to expect when we walked over to Los Azulejos... turns out it's a higher end restaurant. We were not dressed super nice but yet they welcomed us with open arms and treated us very well. Our server (unfortunately can't remember his name) was incredible! He explained the menu very well and answered all of our questions very professionally! He made the experience very fun. The price is a bit high. But there's a reason for that! The food and drinks are very good. We were all blown away with how good the food was! This would be a great spot for a date night. My wife and I already talked about coming back! Give this place a shot and get their blueberry margarita!

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.

If the Italian menu and preparation is as unique as the cantina's, it will be a worthy adventure. For our appetizer we got the cheese dish pictured. I can not recall the name, but the cheese is a cool light cheese served in a warm tomato-based sauce, topped with slices of fresh avocados and chicharones and was served with flour and corn tortillas. Very delicious! As mentioned in the opening...the menu, preparation, and presentation at Panfila is unique. For our entrees my wife got the chile Relleno and I got the Milanese con Mole. The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!

Of course since we're in San…read moreAntonio, Tex-Mex was going to be the choice of restaurants to pick from and this place won via tiebreaker during our team vote. It's safe to say everyone was more than satisfied with this place after dining here. Let's start with the drinks here. As with any Tex-Mex spot in SA, it comes down to margaritas; and this place does it exquisitely. Some of us arrived early to take advantage of the happy hour margarita prices ($5/margarita during HH) where you can get it frozen or on the rocks. Many of us decided on frozen since the texas heat was full blast outside. These are tasty and presented well with a nice blend of tequila flavor. Since these are prepared in house and through a margarita machine, the bartenders kept them coming and gave us a reminder when HH would end (from 3pm to 6pm FYI) so we could get one more order in before it ended. Right when HH ended, we were led to our table which accommodated all 12 of us. It's strongly encouraged to make reservations via OpenTable and definitely call if you're gonna have reservations of 8+ people. Fortunately when I spoke with them earlier that morning, they made sure our table was ready around 6. Since that's when HH ended and we had a few drinks in us, many of us were buzzing and ready to feast after we were seated. Upon being served the complimentary chips and salsa, we also ordered table-side guacamole and ceviche for the table which we all scarfed down. The guacamole uses lime AND orange which gives a nice sweet citrus finish to the spiciness of the jalapeno and creaminess of the avocados. The ceviche included an assortment of fish, cilantro, onion, and tomato in a lime juice/oil marinade. This was refreshing and the fish very tender. Definitely recommend putting the guacamole on top of it on either one of the crackers or chips so your taste buds can really explode. Both are signature appetizers and should be considered upon being seated. Now for entrees, there was a combination of dishes people ordered and everyone loved them all. Several people ordered chicken/beef/combo fajitas which come steaming hot on the skillet and served with flour (or corn) tortillas. These definitely smelled incredible and tasted just as good according to the ones who ordered it. A couple others ordered enchiladas, mainly the enchiladas divorciadas where one is covered in green salsa, the other in red. These were also a popular hit due to the different salsas and the enchiladas were very tender and filling. Other items such as the nachos topped with shrimp, the chicken flautas, and the Chile Rennano stuffed pepper all were devoured. I had the Pollo con Mole which had that cocoa flavor I love from Mole. The chicken was very tender and the poblano rice was a nice compliment. After our meals, we were served complimentary tres leches cake; a perfect ending to the meal. The cake was complimentary as a result of the Spurs winning their match up against the Portland Trailblazers and closing out the series. Thank you Spurs! This was one of the best team dinners I've had; the one where every single person couldn't stop raving about the food, drinks, atmosphere, and the experience. I forgot our servers name but she was incredible and made sure we got what we needed. No doubt we'll be returning here again for some Tex Mex and more of those delicious margaritas! Muchas Gracias Paloma Blanca!
