We are falafel corner fans and frequently visit other locations in Roseville. We tried this one because it's 2 mins from our house and we like to support our local businesses. We ordered food to go a few months after they opened... I was really disappointed in the quality of food- wilted lettuce, hard rice, small portion sizes and weird snotty consistency of the sauce that smothered the meat on my combo plate. This location's main drawback for me though is the place itself... I've walked in and right back out 3 times in the past year. I want to give them another chance but the lack of cleanliness here always pushes me right out the door. Wish management would make it more of a priority. Floors were sticky, multiple tables with food scraps and trash from customers, the trashcan had food spilled on top of it, and it smelled like old grease. Sorry, we won't try again. read more

I went here 2 different times and I'll never ever come back. I even went in and walked out when all the tables were dirty and the floor was filthy. Then the owner had the odacity to say we were lying haha. The first time I had the food it wasn't good and had a hair in it. I've been to some delicious falafel corners. Worst mistake in a long time. I ordered the gyro wrap meal, which included fries...but when I go there, he charged me for the meal AND fries separately. I ended up paying $23 not including tip. I go home, and the fries are not even cooked. I had to cook them myself in the air fryer for 10 minutes. Gyro was cold and unflavored. Wow, the staff working here are some of of friendliest and most enthusiastic restaurant service workers I have seen in a long time. They were welcoming, helpful, and checked in on us several times while we enjoyed our meal. 5 star service for sure! The food was pretty good, too! The falafel were big, crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside. Great flavor. Our schwarma wraps were okay; the meat didn't have much flavor and was kind of spongy, but the sauces were bomb. My daughter loved hee kids meal of chicken strips and fries. Finally got around to trying this place out. I was super excited to see gyro in Antelope and it did not disappoint. Ordered the chicken wrap which is one of their most popular. Will helped me out and did great. First impressions good size and wrapped well. Couldn't pick it up right away so I ate some out with a fork then grabbed it and was able to devour it in minutes. Sauce is good a little mix of sour cream I believe and something with mild sauce to give it a kick, chicken pieces are what hit the spot. Good flavor and large chunks. Prices are fair as well. My first ever gyro was at Sac State a few years ago, after that I was in love with all gyro wraps. Have been to another in downtown I believe on K st, this seems to be a franchise which is great I hope it sticks around. Overall nice clean restaurant, with multiple options for the whole family. Falafel Corner is a welcomed sight in the neighborhood, a culinary wasteland that can use ethnic diversity. Middle-eastern food is working its way into mainstream in the greater Sacramento area and I'm glad that more and more are including it in their regular rotation. I went with two other people and we all had different dishes. I can easily say that all of us enjoyed our food. It was very competent, tasty and for those who love volume, they aren't stingy in their portions. Their pricing is reasonable. So if you're looking for a break from your usual burger or pizza joint, give these folks a try as I am confident they'll gain your favor. read more

I ordered though Yelp and was told that the food would be ready by a certain time time and I'm still sitting here when I could be at home waiting for the food. Seems like this guy is helping everyone but me. I'm being patient because I read really great reviews about this place and Mario. So, once I taste the food I will finish my post. In the meantime, the wait alone is keeping the stars at 3 until (and if) I come back. I will say, the food smells so delish. So unfortunately this is a review that I don't want to make. In the last review i commended the one worker who tried to make my order on top of all orders and the food was still delicious. This review is updating the service I have received at least 3 times all of which have ended without food. The first time I tried to drop in and order food the establishment was closed but gave me the notion they were open with their lunch advertisement board out on the public pathway. The second time I tried to phone in when on Yelp at the time the hours said they were open at 1200, I had called and the staff member picked up agreed to take my order but then once I gave him my full order of a combo plate he then paused and said that they don't open until 1230, I proceeded to cancel my order and eat somewhere else. The third try happened today when I placed an order over the phone after 1230, the staff member took my order but the sound of his voice was not convincing that he was happy to be working but luckily said my order would be done in 10-15 mins. My husband who went to go pick up the order was told that they weren't open for another 15 mins, my husband annoyingly said that's what you told my wife 5 mins ago, the gentleman proceeded to say that "Well it will be another 15 mins.." my husband upsettingly told the guy to cancel the order. That would be the last time we try to order from them and get our combo plate from somewhere else or until there is new management. I'm sorry. read more

Wow! Wow! I've been meaning to try this fantastic Mediterranean spot since they opened up next to where I do my grocery shopping. It's always busy, so I knew it was obviously popular and good. We have very limited options of anything different and outside of fast food joints in Antelope, and I'm glad to see something different and healthy going into the shopping center. Well, my fellow Yelpers seem to love this place, so we got food to go tonight for dinner...my husband bought a falafel platter and a gyro platter. First off, the portions are HUGE! The falafel is the best I've ever had..large, perfectly seasoned and visually beautiful, fried Patties of HEAVEN! Omg, you would never miss meat eating those. Next, the gyro meat was so delicious, soft, and not dry. The white sauce was a perfect condiment to add to the dish. The pita and the hummus was superb as well. Oh, and the rice was the best rice I've ever had at a Mediterranean restaurant! I only ate half of my meal and I'm going to have a great lunch for the next day! Thank you to the owners for taking a chance on us out here in Antelope and providing us a fantastic, healthy and delicious option we so desperately needed! Very happy to see falafel corner here in Antelope! My fiance and I usually go to the Natomas location. As many people who live in the Antelope area know, we don't have too much variety of restaurants here. Mostly fast food chains and pizza places and a handful of Chinese restaurants, so I am happy to see an expansion in selection in the area! As far as my experience goes, we ordered 3 combo platter, and an order of Philly fries to go! The portions are great. The combo platters were perfect. My parents and brothers enjoyed it. It was my first time trying Philly fries. It was really sooo good! I loved them! I can already tell it will be one those things Ill crave! Customer service was awesome! I wish I had taken the time to take a picture that would've done this gyro justice but I was too hungry lol. This was my 2nd time ordering from Falafel Corner and once again, I was not disappointed. This thing was so good it doesn't make sense. The pita was ridiculously soft, tomatoes good enough for me to take notice, crispy lettuce, perfect amount of sauce and the meat was tender, flavorful, and plentiful. Every single bite was delicious. When I went in there was one guy waiting ahead of me and two people working in the front- I think one was being trained. I was helped promptly and customer service was great. The amount of food you get could feed FAR more than that. 2 huge trays of Greek salad, plus the rice and pitas and dips (they are super generous with the portions) I got tzatziki + tahini + hummus. All of my party attendees raved about the quality of the meat and the taste of the dips and the portions. The salad was super fresh! The manager Samantha is a super woman in communication and efficiency. I asked her if they do a lot of catering & she said the new ownership has not really synced up with large events just yet. I feel like this is a hidden gem! I will definitely be using them again for upcoming parties and company functions. I paid $320 and exactly 19 people showed up to our party. New owner is horrible first he reduced the price of their food when he took over and now he's raised the prices more than what they used to be. He got new to-go containers that carry less portions so small containers = less food. He also isn't giving big enough portions of meats on his dishes. I've been going here for a long time and it really sucks to see this place go down hill. Lower your prices OR give more portions with the amount you are charging. read more

We had a really great experience at this location. The food was extremely good and I had one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. It was empty due to the weather so we decided to eat at the restaurant. The folks working were extremely nice and very helpful and they'd put on a movie since it was slow. It happened to be one of our favorites so it made us feel at home. Definitely plan on coming back in the future! I normally love this place. The order I picked up today was my normal gyro platter. I've never had sweet gyro meat before especially when asking for medium spicy, it was quite disappointing. The rice mix was also dry, and the salad consisted of only one romaine leaf that looked as though it was quickly hand shredded into three.
