Also, as a recent graduate, I brought my cap to receive a $15 gift card for their promotion. Instead, she gave a "neighborhood" discount (10% off which made it $10 off). I didn't mention anything since I did not feel like coming back to this location. Then I looked at the receipt, wrote a 20% tip, but this was where I felt scammed. It's difficult to explain and I wish I took a picture, but please check your math on the suggested tip. Total with discount: $98 Previous Total: $108 Suggested Tip: 20% = $20 and Suggested Total: $128 I don't mind tipping $20, but the suggested total would include a $30 tip? I don't know if it's intentional and the server wanted to pocket the discount as her tip, but it did not feel fair. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have a wine and beer bar, but not a full liquor license. We found this a delight and it will be one of our go to restaurants in mid town Sacramento.
